All this big grammar he is saying,he should thank his stars. Why didn't he sing all this tales by moonlight when he was in Kuje prison Look at this man oooo, after securing bail and spending close to four months in detention, instead of Emiefiele to use this period to soberly reflect on his past misdeeds,he is busy firing canoons at everyone I strongly believe he has the freedom of speech, but who can guarantee his freedom after speech By this action, he has simply shown that he is unrepentant and he should be ready to answer questions on how a CBN Governor became so partisan that he wanted to become President of the country without first resigning his appointment I believe the Former Deputy Governor,Mr Kingsley Moghalu, has summarized his tenure in one statement: He was the worst Central Bank Governor Nigeria ever had.......Let him reflect on that Kindly visit my signature for your good properties around Ibeju Lekki Industrial Hub |

Let me start this morning by borrowing a line from the Legend himself, the Abami Eda,Fela Anikulapo Kuti The Song goes like this: You be thief,I no be thief You be armed robber,I no be armed robber You dey steal,I no dey steal Maximum respect to the great seer,Abami Eda Chai!!!!!,Meffy and his gang of 40 thieves did a real number on Nigerians, please let us leave Abacha alone, this present crop of Politicians and their hangers on have made Abacha look like a saint Haba!!!,I seriously feel Emiefiele couldn't have done this monumentous thiefry alone,I don't want to mention names but the former AG, Buhari nephew and a certain Uncle of Buhari have serious questions to answer I have always said that Emiefiele is just a scape goat, Asiwaju is using him to send a serious message to the Buhari Camp, which is that they should stay clear of his Government The kind of money this guys stole is enough to distablize any Government,it is better to launch a first attack on this guys so that they will never regroup to foist any problem for his Government I believe Asiwaju will allow them return their loot, and give them a safe landing I guarantee that this guys will never have a voice as long as Asiwaju is in government Kindly check my signature for good properties around the Ibeju Lekki Industrial Hub |
Nigerians, una no dey ever hear word.It is only in Nigeria that someone will call himself an investment guru and you can't point to a single business that he or she has pioneered or stayed consistently on. In 2024,don't fall victim to this hyenas that come with all types of motivational talk to collect the small change in your pocket Anything you don't understand, please don't invest in it,there is this strange thing that is going around now,it is called LAND BANKING Please do your research well before investing in any scheme before you invest your hard earned money As for the Investor,I believe that you guys can get a good lawyer and send him to EFCC I tell you something,he will sing like a canary if you hava a strong case against him Don't forget to check my signature for good properties around Ibeju Lekki Industrial Hub |

Seun, please close this thread abeg I am not insinuating anything but for the sake of peace for all Nairalanders we want you to close the thread and clear your cache immediately I am not a conspiracy theorist, but I am sure that Seun will have his server down again because of this type of news We have enough troubles in Nigeria,if you want to comment on this war, kindly go to Facebook and Twitter, those ones don't rely on third party servers to host their websites A word is enough for the wise,Mods please shut this thread and clear the cache Asap |
At this point,I must commend the NNPCL and take back some of the things I said about the Port Harcourt Refinery It seems that they have decided to do the right thing and I must congratulate them on this great feat I noticed a little reduction in the price of petrol in my area and I was told that all petrol stations are trying to sell off their stock as they were informed that the Refineries will soon start giving out refined products Congratulations to Asiwaju for sticking to his guns, this is just the beginning of a New Nigeria I want to encourage Nigerians,2024 will usher in new opportunities and only prepared people will take advantage Get yourself a property today at the Ibeju Lekki Industrial Hub,home to Lekki Deep Sea port,Free Trade Zone and Dangote Refinery Check my signature for more details |
In as much as this Government reserves the right to blow its trumpet,I will leave the average Nigerian to either agree or disagree with the achievement of this government As far as I am concerned, this Government's Biggest achievement is giving the Dangote Refinery crude oil to begin the long exercise of local refining I am very positive that the last administration didn't have any political will to allow that Refinery work, even though it was commissioned under them Mr President put down his foot and damned the consequences, today the Refinery will receive 6 million barrels of crude oil worth 420 million dollars to commence operations The City Boy has by this action broken the back of the powerful cabal that held Nigeria hostage for 30 years through petroleum importation This singular action will save Nigeria close to 6 billion dollars in revenue and the NNPCL will now remit money into the Federation account thereby freeing our foreign exchange I am confident that the naira will soon begin a strong rally against the dollar, it is economic sense to understand that the variables at play Once the refining starts, there will be enough currency to move around the economy and this will greatly strengthen our balance of trade Check my signature for properties around the Ibeju Lekki Industrial Hub |
I have been taking my time to read some comments on Nairaland since the platform was restored,it seems that people think it's because of our local politics or whatever drama we are acting here that Nairaland was shut down I might not actually know the offence committed by the person to warrant the total closure of the website (Seun informed us he had to get a temporary host) but I am very very confident it had to do with International players I will not mention names but I sincerely blame Seun, there is no way a platform like Nairaland will still be at the mercy of third party hosts for access Some people have said that Seun cannot build a server in Nigeria due to the cost of doing it,but who says he can't buy out and get shares in a company that provides that service Like I said in an earlier thread,Seun is a small player in this game,he needs to start growing his influence both locally and Internationally There are certain truths Seun needs to understand,if they can do it once, they will do it again But when you build yourself to a point of influence and importance, they will think twice before they try to mess with you and and your business Stop allowing third parties have this type of influence over you and your business,it can destroy you |
Seun,Seun,Seun, How many times did I call you Seun, why now? Don't you understand how big Nairaland is,please I beg you in the name of whatever you believe. Get your own server, there is no reason why Nairaland should be at the mercy of third parties to host its website. It is unimaginable that owners of Nairaland cannot buy shares in a Hosting company considering how Vital this site is. Nairaland is a National Treasure, it is the seventh most visited site in Nigerians both at home and in the Diaspora, please seun if you don't have the resources to buy and build your own server you need to look at the possibility of buying shares in a already established server to avoid this embarrassment I can't imagine the money you lost in the last three or four days, and to imagine that Nairalanders were at the mercy of some individuals is really sad Let me end by saying this: Never ever allow your business be at the mercy of individuals or corporations that can switch you off in a twinkle of an eye,it shows you are not big enough Seun, grow your influence and become a player and not a spectator |
This is one of the best news to hit our airwaves in 2023,it is important that we continually congratulate all good meaning Nigerians in both the NNPCL and the presidency for making this great news happen. The enemies of Nigeria have lost out,Nigeria is on the way to greatness and nothing can stop us. For those who are yet to understand how massive this project is,let me school you on a figures and facts: The Dangote Refinery will collect 6 million barrels of crude oil in 6 weeks,as of today 2 million barrels have been delivered by NNPCL. The 6 million barrels cost 462 MILLION DOLLARS at 77 dollars per barrel according to latest figures released by OPEC(Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries) According to the latest exchange rate of 1000 naira to a dollar, the 6 million barrels of crude oil is 462. BILLION NAIRA. The Niger State Governor just signed into law the state's 2024 budget, the total amount came to 454 BILLION NAIRA,this is to cover both expenditure and recurrent expenses My point is simple,Dangote Refinery's raw materials for a month is the total budget of Niger State for a whole year, and mind you the Refinery is operating at 50% capacity Visit my signature to know how best to get a property around the Ibeju Lekki Industrial Hub,the door of investment is still very open |

The people at NNPCL are playing snakes and ladders with themselves,it seems they don't understand nobody takes them serious If they like they should start tomorrow, that is their business.I expect that this Government should do a serious inventory on all NNPCL assets which include all the Scrap metals called Refineries,Depots located in all the six regions and what have you This will allow Government auction off the ones that they will and retain the ones that they will, there is no need spending money on something that is unproductive This Government should take the bull by the horn and strip NNPCL or their powers, sell off those scrap metals to serious private individuals who will make the place productive Dangote Refinery has made the people at NNPCL know that all this shakara go soon end my people, let them keep wasting scare forex on projects that will become an avenue for abandoned projects Kindly visit my signature for good properties at the Ibeju Lekki Industrial Hub |

Wow, information is key in anything we do. I thank this individual for producing this great video,he is indeed a patriot This are the projects that are necessary for the Industrialisation of any nation If we can get our Power and Transportation Infrastructure right, nobody can hold this nation from becoming a world power I also want to encourage the Federal Government concession to the Chinese government that white Elephant project called Ajaokuta This is the only group I believe can make good use of that plant,at least they will have the raw materials needed to keep producing steel for the rail line In as much as I love this news,I am saddened by the reality of the Road network in Ogun state The Ogun state government needs to look at the possibility of concessioning some roads in the state to private individuals Most border towns in Ogun state are a big mess and I believe it is time for those in government to start looking at the possibility of engaging private stakeholders to handle some projects Kindly check my signature for property in Ibeju Lekki Industrial Hub |
Hi |
The Ibeju Lekki Industrial Hub is gradually transforming the West African Landscape It will become the Largest Industrial base in the whole of West Africa and this is happening one day at a time.I really want to appreciate the Lagos State Governor for the ongoing road project from Eleko to Abraham Adesanya, also Dangote Group of Companies is constructing the Refinery to Eleko Road, all this project will allow the easy and fast evacuation of products from Ibeju Lekki Industrial Hub The Asiwaju government has signed off the construction of the Lagos to Calabar project which will be an alternative route while the Lagos State government has started the setting out of the Purple Rail line which will commence from Marina to Dangote Refinery In all,the government at both the state and federal level are gradually put in Infrastructure that will not allow the mess that is happening in Apapa to play out in Lekki Sea port Kindly contact my signature for more information about good properties with very good titles around Ibeju Lekki Industrial Hub |
The continuous free fall of the naira should be a serious concern for all well meaning Nigerians.I have always insisted that the true value of the Naira should probably hover around 800 to 1000 naira. The last Government did a lot of abracadabra with the Economy and what they did was to simply kick the can of worms down the road, now the chicken has come home to roost So,what is the immediate solution to our currency problems: 1) Reduce the importation of petroleum products This Government needs to quickly find a way to commence the local refining of petroleum products using all available resources and Refineries in Nigeria If Nigeria has to earn less forex from crude oil sales but increase the local refining of crude oil,we might have to take this very narrow path to stabilize our naira 2) Sell off at least two of our Refineries You might ask,how does selling Refineries stabilise our foreign exchange Very simple, Government is spending a lot of money doing turning around maintenance on this refineries and Depots located in Nigeria This TAM are usually costed in Dollars and they seem to never end,by selling major stakes in this refineries, Government will be able to conserve the foreign exchange that would have been wasted on this projects If my figured serve me right,Nigeria has spent close to 12 billion dollars over the last fifteen years on this refineries and they are yet to produce a single liter of oil 3) Open up the NNPCL That organization is the most opaque institution in Nigeria as at today, nobody has a clue how much they make everyday, where the money goes and what is really given to the federation account It seems every other week, the GMD of NNPCL will come out with various figures on what is being generated and days later he will give a different figure Once this Government can tidy up the mess at the NNPCL,it will go a long way to fixing our foreign exchange quagmire Finally,as we head into 2024,I seriously want to encourage any forward looking businessman who has plans of staying in business in the new year to consider the option of earning in foreign currency You must as a matter of necessity, begin to understand that the Nigerian market is no longer enough to sustain your business You must begin to think of ways to packaging your goods and services to attract the Diaspora Kindly visit my signature about good properties around the Ibeju Lekki Industrial Hub |

I want to disagree with the NLC president on this issue, although the government that was responsible for the privatization of the NEPA bungled it,every other government after that has not been able to do much. This was because the government that signed the agreement made a 120 month(10 year concession) to the companies, this meant government couldn't do any reforms until after 10 years Fortunately,2023 is the 10th year and this government has the leeway to speed up the transformation of the power sector They need to get it right this year, unless they will see Nigerians still living in total darkness I have always canvassed that there has to be a total liberalisation of the Sector, from Generation to Transmission, and finally to Distribution I know that there are communities in Nigeria that are already off the National Grid and are currently running their private Independent power plant and distributing the power they generate,so nothing stops companies who are willing to start this process to be licensed as well Like I said in an earlier thread,we need to completely rejig our whole power structure Do we really need a National and Centralized Grid? Can we have a lot of Independent power plants taking care of small communities and getting paid? Kindly Check my signature for more details about good properties around Ibeju Lekki Industrial Hub |
This is exactly what I posted on a former thread which talked about the collapse of the National Grid,it is time to re-examine our power systems and structure States,Local and Private Companies need to be brought into the Generation and Distribution of power in Nigeria Any state that can take the heed and provide 24 hours power will become an investment haven. Those that are not able will be left at the mercy of their ingenious leaders If Institutions in Nigeria can generate and distribute their own power, what stops local government and states from doing the same Until we get the power situation right,we will continue to go around in circles in our quest to become an Industrialised nation There is no nation on earth who have become industrialised through the use of Generators,it simply can not happen |
The best thing this government can do is to hands off Electricity Generation and Distribution Let the states,Local government and private individuals take over every aspect of power in Nigeria. We need to start re-examining our power structure in Nigeria. This thing called National grid,do we really need it I also expect the states to take advantage of the bill signed by both the Buhari and Tinubu Administration on the liberalisation of power and get to work on producing electricity for their people Any state that can put in place structures that will generate and distribute at least 20 hours of electricity will become an investment haven,we also need to start reconsidering this idea of generating power and sending it to a central location which now distributes it. States,Local and private corporations should be able to generate and distribute what they produce I know of a certain university in Ikorodu area of Lagos State that has their own power plant, they generate and distribute their power as they are off the national grid,I also learnt they give power to some houses in their community so when people come up with this excuse that power is money intensive,I argue that it is because we are bent on having large power plants A place like Lagos State can have 100 power plants and distribution companies producing electricity and distributing to their clients We must understand that we need to seriously start thinking outside the box to solve this problem of power because all the former ideas we used before are all not working again |
Mele kyari,GMD of NNPCL you see your life. So,they are still doing Turn Around Maintenance in this scrap metal called Refinery too I will never ever change my opinion about all the scrap metals called Refineries in Nigeria,I align my position with that of the respected economist and one time presidential aspirant Dr Olu Falae, who advised the government to sell off those scrap metals to either private individuals or better still companies that specialise in cannibalising metals I want to ask a question, what exactly is the job that people do in a place that is not working, they are even electing officials to handle the affairs of a moribund scrap metal Wonders shall never end in our country. NNPCL or whatever they are called messed up this country big time, from Ejigbo Depot in Lagos State,Warri Depot in Delta State,Emene Depot in Enugu....all this gigantic depots were left to rot away because some greedy individuals stopped local refining and started importing refined products This was one of the biggest mistake Nigeria made in the last 30 years as a country,we handed our economy to a very few people who actually dictated the price and held us to ransome in the name of subsidy Let me end by saying this, that scarp metal called a Refinery in Port Harcourt will never work, why because the people that created the problem can never be part of the solution I come in peace..... |
I believe Faiththatworks made some strong observations and let me quickly reply some comments made above Please Dangote Refinery is not Ajaokuta Thank God,the Refinery is located in Ibeju Lekki, Lagos State. If you stay in Lagos or close to Lagos, kindly find your way to that location. Don't allow anyone to misinform you,the place is always open and you can always get there yourself if you doubt what we are always saying here Second is the whether it can extract other byproducts, the information I have is that it is capable of doing that I sincerely believe that as Nigerians should ask this type of questions more, like I rightly informed in a previous response,a lot of companies are already moving in men and materials and are building industries around that Location.Like I always say, take a ride to that Location and confirm whatever we are saying here, you don't have to believe anything but kindly visit this corridor and verify it yourself Lastly,on the issues of whether Refineries in Europe or Asia are not depending on our crude oil, there was a story earlier this year in the news media of how a particular Refinery in one of the European countries was lamenting that close to 60% of their refined products was going to Nigeria and they will have to either release workers or look for alternative markets Did you know that the six million barrels that is to be given to Dangote would have been diverted to a Refinery abroad, this type of arrangement happened for years, and for when last any Refinery worked in Nigeria I can sincerely assure you that its been more than 15 years any Refinery worked in Nigeria, possibly during Obasanjo's government I conclude by telling folks,go and verify yourself what is happening in Ibeju Lekki Industrial Hub...... |
This is great, wish you luck bro |
I have always insisted that the people in NNPCL are part of the problem of Nigeria and they can never be part of the solution. I was waiting for the people in NNPCL to start their funny talk and I am not surprised it happened quicker than I thought Help me ask this man if he has ever operated a Refinery before in his life, the last time any Refinery worked in Nigeria was close to 30 years ago and I am sure he was still a junior staff or possibly still applying to get a job in NNPCL Someone that his organisation spent 12 trillion on repairing refineries and not one single barrel was refined is here schooling us about prices of refined crude oil,he better cover his face if he has any iota of shame left in him I was fortunate to visit the NNPCL Depot in Emene,Enugu State some years back and I couldn't but weep for Nigeria I was informed that the Depot has not received petroleum products for close to twenty five years and the place is now a shadow of itself but somehow they still receive salaries for doing nothing everyday The people in NNPCL don't surprise me one bit,it will take them time to get used to the fact that free money has stopped flowing and they have to really work for their money And lastly, all this talk is a preparing the ground so that when that scrap metal in Port Harcourt doesn't work in December,he will quote this statement he just made, that Refineries don't reduce fuel prices My people, yeye dey smell jare |
Adesina added that “These projects will reverse the huge sum the nation spends on foreign exchange, when you look at how much we import, it is about $57 billion worth of different products and we export only about $50.4 billion, so we have to balance that with about $7 billion and talking to them here, they showed us that they can have a domestic market of about $11 billion and that is an incredible market and that will save Nigeria about $9 billion dollars, a year from importing petroleum products, so this is huge for Nigeria and even for Africa as a continent.” I just had to comment again, when we tell people the four Refineries owned by Nigeria will never work they think we are trying to slander NNPCL,hope you read where Mr Adeshina said that Nigeria imports 9 billion dollars of petroleum products every year, and some people believe that the parasitic elements in NNPCL will abandon this free money and repair those Refineries Let me repeat again, those Refineries will never work as long as Mele Kyari and his team are in that organisation |
