Christianity EtcDoes This Really Happen About Rain In Nigeria? by Kenog4real(op): 7:44pm On May 23, 2022
Right from childhood, I've always heard how some set of people prevent rain from falling. This happens like I've heard when there is a special ceremony, market day and some unrelevant event. The sign is always a mighty wind blowing heavily when it's about to rain which then blows the rain away to another location.
I use to believe this things, but now that I'm older, experienced formal education and also have the opportunity to travel far away, I have began to see things from another perspective; because looking at it, in everyday of our lives, WEATHER happens.

That's why I'm here to hear others view on the issue of how true is it to prevent RAINFALL.
RomanceImportant Message To You All. by Kenog4real(op): 10:11pm On May 20, 2022
As Nigeria keep getting tougher day by day, if care is not taken, one can run mad. So it is very important for everyone to keep being positive about THEMSELVES because if you run mad today and Nigeria becomes GREAT tomorrow, how will one enjoy the greatness.

When you go to Abuja, you'll know that this was a planned city. That's the thing about foundation, if it's placed well, everything else would align.

It's just that the city should be rid of those illiterate Hausa barbarians. Constituting nuisance with their okada and Keke.
The same Abuja that one will miss his/her road if he/she is not use to the road. Imagine having those good and well planned roads without names/directions. Goog map is trying but no be everyone sabi use am.

Wow

She's lucky there's no petty thieves over there. Assuming it was here in Ogun , the thing will be riping inside thieves stomachs.

Congratulations to your mum, next harvest will be bountiful.
You get it. That's how my parents driver went to their farm without their consent to harvest yam. And he does it daily until they were promoted to ask the villagers around. Then they made them understand its the driver that brings them to farm for inspection that has been doing the stealing.

I detest watching football at viewing center. I always go home with serious headache due to the unnecessary arguments. Also I love to watch ball with the commentary which I can never get in a viewing center.

I love to play video games and I will continue to play it till thy kingdom come.

Truth is if I mistakenly eat light food, just expect me in the kitchen at most 11pm scattering everywhere, looking for what to eat.

I am not an European, please let me be. Thank you........
LOL... But you can still eat the heavy food but not late in the night. Then complement it later in the night with the likes of fruits incase you later get hungry/there is need to take something.

I have noticed for The fact that we were taught balanced diet right from primary has no impact on how majority of Nigerians put 2 or 3 things together to make a balance diet and also eat the said food at the right time. I don't know if it's a general thing in Africa as a whole; but it's something I've seen different families practice. I opportune to have seen how few countries tries to schedule/time their meals in such a way it's balanced and also taken at the right time. In Nigeria, alot of people find it exciting eating swallow for dinner which sometimes might be around 9:00-10:00pm. I feel a bit bad sometimes when I tries to make my people understand I can't eat again because it's already late especially if it was swallow.
Many have being trying to reduce weight and also look healthy but eating heavy food for dinner and also eating late has been a hobby for them.
It sometimes looks as if people just want to eat which is done according to how they see it.

Is this eating habits a general thing in Nigeria/Africa or its just something that's happening in my vicinity alone.?

CrimeRe: Maryam Bobbo, Husband & Children Missing After Attack On Abuja-Kaduna Train by Kenog4real(m): 8:46pm On Mar 30, 2022
How on earth these people don't have the statistics of the passenger on the train still dey baffle me. At least they all have their informations before boarding the train. Also, the special treatments giving to some so call VIPs when it comes to boarding the train in Nigeria is enough to plan something evil.

I remember few years ago going to Abuja from Kaduna, I got to the train station 6:00am but because of one VIP was going to board the same train, we were delayed till around 10:am before we could move.

RIP to the dead and I wish others quick recovery and rescue.

Maybe those are your own kids. Talk for yourself. I have seen young kids making grammatically correct statements at two. Children are really smart these days.
Making good correct statements is way different from being able to read and understand. The boy is my nephew. He speaks and make correct statements though not all the time. I get thrilled sometimes when they speak the American English they learn from the cartoon they watch. So the problem is not making a correct statement but being able to read.

It's too much.Op, can the 4 year old read, understand and answer these questions by himself ?
Most private schools don't go by the government's curriculum that's why. Some schools are only displaying contents for the parents to see where there money is going.
Can't read but when you read out loud to him he tries to pick the right answer.

How is this too much?

Their mates in China are already making bots for Messenger, radios and transmitters, moving and flying automobiles and you are here complaining that these simple questions are too much for sb in primary school.

Little wonder, an average SS3 Nigerian student will be misplacing pronouns when there are two nouns, male and female, which are supposed to be modified using their pronouns.... “Nneoma say you should Mike give she book.”
I understand you... But is this the way kids are being taught in china. I have experienced how it's done there so I'm not a novice to it.
EducationIsn't This Too Much For A 4year Old. by Kenog4real(op): 5:01pm On Mar 28, 2022
Paid a visit to my sister. She has 2 kids 4 and 6. They came back from school and brought out their assignments with their last term exam script. When I went through the 4yr old script, I was baffled to see the kind of questions they have written because it's more or less of a primary school standard. I was told they would be starting exams in few days time but they still came home with loads of assignments instead of allowing their parents to revise their previous class activities with them.
Not that the kids are not brilliant but I just feel the of that exam questions and some of their assignments are way higher than their reasoning.
Is it same with the school your kids attends.?

Music/RadioWhen Last Did You Listen To Radio. by Kenog4real(op): 10:43am On Mar 28, 2022
I remember back then in secondary school. We use to have this portable radio called palito. Having one then shows you are big boy. That was before the advent of Walkman grin grin. We love to listen to some of the loving radio stations programs then especially in the night. When we left school, some continues to listen with their phone as palito and Walkman dependa on one having to buy batteries every time. But as the year goes by and there is advancement in almost everything, I personally that love to stay awake to listen to those loving programs with the classic musics and also listen to sport news especially on Monday morning from different stations even though I watched all the weekend matches found it a little boring to listen to radio programs now.

So guys with the radio app coming with every of the phones we use now, when last did you listen to Radio.
