Good day people. I don't want to write too much so as not to go off point. Tied the knot recently because it was one of the plans for the year. Also, it's getting cold which might cause an increase in the covid-19 cases leading to a possible lockdown. This was done pending on the time people back home would be ready to go do the necessary things. Though there are few things that are delaying them. Few days after the ceremony, we began to receive calls of complaints from the bride's fam. And some of things said made me ask this question.


Is there anything wrong in what we did because the bride is support and not that I carry person daughter. Also, is there anything bad attached to not paying bride price before tying the knot with someone's daughter? Thanks.


I'm sorry I didn't mention the both parents being aware of the plan before executing it. They were fully aware and OK with it.

I think if you both are transparent and have common understanding in the relationship all these won't be an issue, please be calm and talk to her about it. Its part of your character and she have to know that and adapt to it that's if it's not your cheating strategy, give her the reason to believe you She'll adjust.

Hello people, I have some concerns about my relationship. The thing is I'm the type that don't get angry easily, I don't complain until there are re-occurence, I hardly accepts things the way they are easily because of the way I perceived things should be (personal opinion). I don't mind if I don't get a birthday gift or message from my partner and also I hardly wish people happy birthday. The word I LOVE YOU doesn't move me like that because I believe the word has been used to deceive alot of people. Although I use it once in a while just to show affection and all but I still believe love is from within. When I give out a gift, I don't care whether the person use it or not because I have the feeling I've fulfilled my heart desires and when I receive gift, I just don't want the giver to disturb me about the gift. The last one is posting of pictures on social media. I post funny things once in a blue moon but my own personal pictures i can go 2 months without showing my face because it's not just my thing. I have the belief that showcasing one's self on social media should be for commercial purposes which is mainly for the populars.

My main issue now is that all these listed points are affecting my relationship as my partner takes all of the things serious as they are part of what makes her happy.
I've been trying to adjust but it seems so hard for me.

For the ATM, every bank has it own unique code which is the first 4 digits on the Card. I got to know that when a scammer called asking me for my ATM numbers. I told him I use Access and was calling Gtbank card numbers for him but he kept on telling me this isn't an Access Bank card number immediately I call out the first 4 digits.

I got this message few minutes ago. I'm currently not in Naija but I tried to keep my mtn line active due to the fact that it has not been linked and also to avoid it from being blocked. So this evening I was just going through my phone when I noticed an unread message. I opened it to see the details in it were 90% correct. The name of the messanger is different from what truecaller gave me. Without reading the message twice, I knew it was a scammer at work. I've never been scammed and I don't pray I fall victim of any of their tactics. The surprising thing is how accurate the little information about me he gave out in the message.

Please let us all be careful of these scammers.

As part of my preparation for IELTS, I decided to check their centers all in Nigeria. To my surprise, I discovered out of the 19 states in the Northern part of the country, I could see just one state with two centers only. Please how true is it though I checked online already.

The reason why don't check is because I feel it's an inferior version of the weather report we get on Nigeria.
For one reason or the other,like most things in Nigeria,while the report of western countries is most times accurate and reliable,what u get in Nigeria is like a thing of trial and error.

Since I left the country, I've never left home without knowing the condition of that day's weather right from the time I leave the house till the time frame I'm going to get back home especially during the winter; this is because if I don't, I might end up regretting the simple mistake. So the weather most time determines the kind of outfit for the day.

Recently my friend in Nigeria were complaining about the weather being too hot/cold so I asked some of them "What's the actual weather condition in degrees?. " Some didn't answer while some said they don't know. To cut the story short, nobody gave me a positive response so I had to check on my phone.

After doing that, I remembered I was once like that though not that bad because I did geography in school and I also taught geography during my NYSC which sometimes prompts me to know the weather condition of the day and also for some countries.

I don't even know where to start. Well, I've had to teach kids of 2-11yrs old and you see some of them covering their nose when you get close to them based on what their parents told them about black or they touch you and try to sniff the hand to know if one is smelling bad.

Recently, my gal told me her place of work organized an excursion for all the staff of about 200.
