I recently traveled out of Nigerian and I saw how both major and minor roads are being constructed in a way that favors everything that needs the usage of those roads {pedestrians, bicycle bikes e.t.c}.
NOTE: I am not trying to compare Nigeria to any country but for any development in a developing country to happen, developed countries are always there as reference.
As I was saying, seeing the road network gave me a flashback to many of Nigerian Roads I've plied; which I feel are all constructed for vehicular purposes alone without considering pedestrian {walkways} especially in a highly populated environments and other road users.
I might not have the right statistics to back this up but I've at least been to 5 major cities in Nigeria (thou I might not have gone round each of the cities) and also I've seen pictures of constructed roads here on NL. All I've is a well constructed road with gutters{drainage} by the sides which gives pedestrians no choice than to make use of the roadside as their walkways which has contributed to the daily road accidents we experience in Nigeria. A good example is Hit and Run Drivers or a situation where a vehicle had break failure and the driver will ram into the pedestrians by the roadside. If there are good walkways with distinct differences from the road, this might have a good impact on the pedestrians especially.
Are these road designs got approved out of ignorance, I want people to know I did something for them or the fact that they don't care to know the purpose of the road to be constructed?

Also, why can't the government stop wasting money on pedestrian bridges {where it doesn't matter} and provide traffic lights with Zebra crossing and making sure every of its laws are followed accordingly by punishing offenders publicly until everyone adhere to it. The Nigerias of this day hardly adhere to things of such so if they can't make us get use to adhering to rules and regulations/laws NOW, when are we gonna get use to it.

Please mind my grammars. I have a lot to write but I'm just gonna go straight to the point.
My girlfriend/wife to be happens to be a rape victim. Thou we've been dating for almost 3years and by God's grace, we are working towards our wedding. The thing there is that there are issues with our sex lives. Due to her past experience, it's most times hard to have pleasing, fun and great sex. I met her to be someone not into sex because she told me she uses hot water to calm herself whenever she's in the mood; although she has a way to do things and we both climax almost together without penetration. Her reason for not giving in to sex is that there is always a flashback when it happens. As a man, you know getting inside the V and doing it as one like is the koko. By the time we started the main thing (sex)after months, I found out I don't last again and at the same time I don't satisfy her. Whenever we wanna do anything, the only pre-intimacy allowed most time is from the neck to the tummy region. Every other place is a no go/touch area(her excuse is that she get irritated and also scared of infection) except I wanna get in and also there is this facial expression from her that always makes me feel guilty and at the same loose focus which sometimes turns me off or makes me nut on time when things gets serious. I've always felt maybe it's the tightness, what we've both been doing before we started having normal sex that is affecting me or the issue is from me. I've tried to bring up the issue so we talk about it but it's always ends with 'I don't like talking about sex'. I brought up the idea of her going online to read up somethings about it so we know how to help each other, its still to no avail. During the lock down, we were home together for 5 months plus, there was nothing like sex.
I've not taken all these too serious because we aren't officially married yet and also I feel I might bring back her past, but I don't want all these to affect the both of us when we finally get married.
She's a decent, hard working, helping, and a supportive lady. In fact she worked my way out of Nigeria with her and we have been staying together since then.

Hi guys, something just occur to me as a Nigerian and I wish to share it from my own point of view.

Sex as we all know is something of consent between two people male and female, male and male and maybe female and female. Anything apart from that is rape.
My main focus is how we relate the action to people after sex. We hardly see people say[b] we had sex[/b] which I believe is the right word/statement to use because it's something they both give their consent before caring out the action (sex).

A guy will say I had sex with her and a lady will also say he had sex with me.

The two statements sounds wrong to me because as a Nigerian, the guy's statement means I used her and the lady's means he used me where as its what they both agreed to.

From my own view, both statement can be use when there is an agreement to do/offer something (cash, gift, promotion e.t.c) after the intercourse but one party failed to carry out the agreement.

Please lets be specific when we relate things like that to friends because it goes a long way on the way friends relate to such people.
