First classers are not the best of brains around, and I do know that if I had not studied Mass Communication (the one course I am most gifted at) I may never have made a first class. (You cannot expect me, for example, to have read Economics and made a first.)

, the unique thing about 1st classers is dat they make their courses appear very simple, it still baffles mi too o!!!

Mass Communication is like second nature to me. I will do my master's degree in it, and as well my PhD. Indeed, while still an undergraduate, I patented four hypotheses, that are yet to be fully researched into, and called new theories in Mass Communication. They are:
1. Operational communicationism: 'The dispersion of the self, consequent on the facets of the self, transactional of the self, and for the purpose of the actualization of the self'.
2. Ontological classification of the history of newspapers in Nigeria (the era of Authenticism).
3. A history of public relations development, through 5 paradigms (Corporateness, Concern, Transcendence, Duty and Perpetuity), and
4. Advanced methods of computational Mass Communication research (making use of scale tables and weight numbering).

Mass Communication is really fun, and many will find their destiny in it. I have. This is why I tell everyone to read the course they are gifted in. When I was entering the university, the family wanted me to do Law. I said no, that I wanted to do Mass Communication. And they let me be. I do recall that those days, when I was in year one or two, the teacher would be telling us something, maybe about rural community newspaper development or something else, and I would turn to my seat mate and say, 'Watch; the next thing he will say is that almanacs may be a substitute for journals in the event of a lack of infrastructure.' My seat mate would say, 'You must have read it in a textbook.' Which I hadn't. And sure as hell, the lecturer would say that thing! I used to have recurring deja vu's like these; as if in a past life, I had been a Mass Communication student, and I was doing it all over again. As if I had heard some particular lectures before, though I never could recall where I had heard them. So, doing Mass Communication was very easy.

Whether I read or I did not read, I was sure to get an A. I am also the first human being in the history of the existence of Mass Communication in IMO STATE UNIVERSITY, OWERRI to make a first class in the course, and the best graduating student of three joint convocation ceremonies (1999/2000; 2000/2001; 2001/2002). One may confirm from Exams and Records Department of that school. I stand to be challenged on this.

I really took time out to read all replies. Gosh my eyes hurt.

Everyone has helped in one way or the other. Some have gone religious, ethical, and moral while some few have just shown NAIRALAND the bad advice they'll give to their daughters, sisters and mothers.

But in all these, no one has given her given her another option in terms of an alternative job opening!

Now to the poster: Post your qualifications (no matter how little) here and also post what kind of jobs you are expecting and lets see what can be done.

I'm not promising anything but it wont hurt trying. Its easier to say NO to this NAZI veteran (the German guy) if there is hope for alternative jobs.

after standing for like 15mins and men queue plenty,i asked her to attend to me she just mumbled some words and left.she came back within 50 seconds though but by then i had lost it.

i tore the teller and threw everything at her table.it took the manager to calm me down.

but that girl did a disservice to dt bank because even if i become d richest man in this world,i will never put my money in dt bank.i don't even watch bank adverts.i see them all as lies.their staff are never as polite as they show us on tv.

i have a bosom friend currently in Bank PHB training school at V.I Lagos.i asked him what they were learning and he said basically accounting procedure and other academic stuff.

, are u sure he's in training school cos i v been to FBN (spent 6 months with the big elephant) and den Zen training schools and the bulk of wat is thot is customer service (i mean it!!!)

he did not even mention any intense course in customer relationship.

Bonny grads are going to be competing for the slots we're after,

A a, don't blame them, na their papa land( i don't know why my surname isn't Dokubo, Harry or some other NLNgacious name). These guys are assured of a good no. of slots (don't have the exact figure) and a whole lot of the technician jobs on the plant go to them as well,


, hmmm! remember we need to take care of the host community, no b small mata o!!!!



The good news is that we may be having more than 70 people taken.
The coys setting to expand operations and they had to revise estimations due to the demand for staff from most of the depts. That's part of the hold up, i heard, so let our hearts beat faster,
