justtoodark:Most probably... Nigerians are capable of anything, imagine if a guy can insert 100 drug capsules in his rectum just to make quick cash nothing is far fetched. ![]() |
justtoodark:Thats the least of our problems... Other countries are thinking better healthcare, affordable living standards, free schooling & development but Nigerians are only stuck thinking of procreation. No wonder you are breeding like rats. ![]() |
justtoodark:Must have gone with your electricity too.. ... Changing names to PHCN didnt improve the electricity supply did it? ![]() Nigerians should get an award for the most under privileged & depressed country, i sincerely cant handle an hour without electricity. |
justtoodark:I know how boring it is when you have no electricity to watch TV. The only consolation is Nairaland to pass time abusing other developed countries citizens to make yourself feel better. I know your pain bro, we were once there too. ![]() |
Jay254:He calls himself justtodark coz he works at NEPA(Never Enough Power Anyway). Just imagine a country of 200m population with 3000MW of power same as Kenya with a population of 40 million. |
justtoodark:Boring yet you are here at page 2021 hating on us.... If this thread was that boring it would have died at page 3. This thread is longer than your electricity supply ![]() |
justtoodark:Generator fumes must be reason why you sound dull.... Poor Nigerians. |
naijalander:You are a serious joke!!! How long has the Mombasa port been there? I would have preferred if you had suggested the new Lamu port since its funded by a Chinese owned bank. Learn to know the difference between the two ports one fully owned by Government and the other a private & government(held in trust for the Kenyan people) funded initiative. The project is self sustaining since it was a well thought out project serving the landlocked countries of South Sudan, Uganda, Congo, Rwanda & Ethiopia. The more reason why regions like Northern Kenya towns of Isiolo are among the most developing region currently. LAMU PORT PROJECT

Jay254:Before the war Ivory coast was a so advanced and diverse in west Africa. It needs a visionary leader to return it to its former state. |
Fash20:The question Nigeria as a country and its citizens should be asking is:- 1. Why should Nigeria's population a liability instead of asset The Nigerian population lacks a clear tax collection system in order to stop over dependency on oil revenue. The alternative of oil dependency could be internal revenue collection through revenue generated from its people as a resource. 2. What advantages can a big population have? China has used their big population and high number of graduates as an asset by being a source of averagely cheap labor. Imagine if Nigeria turned its country as Africa's manufacturing hub with a free port it would be a world leader competing with China. |
Fash20:Two thirds of Europe's or America's products are imported from China. Raw materials are outsourced from Africa and exported to China for manufacturing. Ask yourself why the US/China are in a tariff war over trade, coz almost 80% of factories in the US have shifted to China due to availability of cheap labor, friendly tariffs and huge markets. |
jaycent:Seriously what impact has a monorail got to the economic growth of Nigeria? List for me at the very least the impact it will bring to the Nigerian economy vis a vis its initial investment. Like for example the Kenyan Standard gauge railway is essential economically in more than one way listed below:- 1. Links the second biggest port in Africa(LAMU PORT) to the mainland easing pressure on Mombasa port. 2. It has 2 ICD's(Internal container depot) with a storage capacity of 20,000 containers 1 in Nairobi and the other in Naivasha town on towards Uganda. 3. It will link the Lamu port to Isiolo on towards to South Sudan.

emeka1101:Wow, Ghana is so much similar to Kenya and Rwanda... Its a small country but bigger impact than its neighboring countries. |
emeka1101:As a Kenyan i find Ghanaian society very civil.... Accra is a decent cool town and much orderly and the system seems to be working fine. I always insist that cities are not always about skyscrapers but functioning systems. |
jaycent: You got to be joking! Right? I find it odd that Nigerians will be gloating about projects that only cater for 0.0001% of the population while roads going to the metro system are pathetic. This is what we call misplaced priorities, an avenue for milking Nigerian population off their tax. KENYA The Kenyan transport infrastructure in anchored on vision 2030 blueprint and involves countries neighboring Kenya. The SGR system is intertwined going from Kenya to Uganda and finally South Sudan. Instead of focusing on Nairobi and Mombasa the Kenyan government decided to spread develop and mega projects to other areas to bring an even development face unlike Nigeria's focus on Abuja and Lagos. I will giving you pictures on the latest infrastructure in other upcoming towns. |
Daejoyoung:Hahaha.... Brazil & Singapore? You mean Nigerians have the courage to put those countries in the same sentence with zoogeria!!!! Wonders shall never seize. |
sufferNsmiling:They want to compete with Brazil & Singapore? Hehehe, they should try first to supersede Tunisia Morocco & Egypt. |
Here is the metro train station
|
nwoke39:Confused about what? Nigerians are never patient, jumping into conclusions every time. Here its is below Nairobi commuter trains, they come in green colour unlike the long distance SGR trains.
|
nwoke39:Here are the Nairobi city commuter train system(Metro) schedules and routes The Metro route is serviced by the Nairobi commuter train
|
nwoke39:Unless you show me a working metro train system with passengers in it in Abuja, i will gladly share ours. I want its operational route, ticketing system and daily operational routine. Not this stalled metro system and prototypes that you are showing. Isnt it the same metro system that was over valued and ended up stalling due to ineptitude? |
Daejoyoung: But if Nigeria is as good as you are saying why are Nigerians youths escaping it.... Why would the youth risk their lives just to escape your Abuja? Why would a Nigerian youth prefer to be a slave or drown in Libya than stay in Nigeria. The answer is Nigeria is a basket case, no matter the cosmetic pictures of Abuja or Lagos the entire country is suffering. Accept it instead of living in denial. Ask yourself why a Mexican would risk his life to go to America, same reason a Nigerian would risk his life for Europe. The reason being there country is a mess the same way Nigeria is, unemployment, drug trade, money laundering and corruption by the system. |
KENYA INFRASTRUCTURE CLEAN AND WELL MAINTAINED TERMINUS I saw Nigerias airports looking like a slum area... and they have the nerve to call it international airports. ![]()
|
Kenya Railways Nigerians please jealousy is a sin.... Just accept Kenya is on another level. Imagine a country that has no natural resources but using its citizens as its biggest resource. No wonder Nigerians are flooding our country in droves with there dirty behaviour.
|
KENYA TRAIN TERMINALS This are world class facilities unlike those Nigerian pathetic road side ramshackle AKA pepe napep terminals
|
nwoke39:What nonsense is this.... That looks like a local beer pa lour around here in KenyaThis is how its supposed to be.
|
TayserMahiri:Alafu this is merely political, someone in government just pleasing him in return for votes. Its a privilege it won't last for long. |
TayserMahiri:I dislike him alot... to much brainwashing of his followers(idiots). So saddening. |
Timewilltell2:Bitterness is a killer... I know how you feel. |
nwoke37:KENYA INFRASTRUCTURE Standard gauge rail 600KM
