According to the broadcaster, the Ksh 38.2 billion expansion is being funded by the UK government.

BREAKING NEWS KENYA On the news this week about Kenya... The Kenyan government and its South African counterpart have strengthened their bilateral relationship by easing restrictions on travelling by both their citizens. South Africa scraped short-term visa requirements for Kenyans. Kenyan business people and students travelling to South Africa will now be issued with multiple entry visas valid for up to 10 years. The two countries have also agreed to step up joint efforts in combating illegal immigration especially from NIGERIANS and also protect the integrity of each other’s travel documents. This move also comes as Kenya’s immigration department steps up efforts to streamline immigration services through automation of systems, digitization of records, and establishment of the e-passport system. The governments are also in consultation on the strategies to mitigate transnational crimes, especially human trafficking and smuggling emanating from elsewhere on the continent and beyond.Read more at: https://www.standardmedia.co.ke/business/article/2001301663/south-africa-scraps-short-term-visa-requirements-for-kenyans

forgiveness: Nigerias biggest achievment this decade ..... Kenya provides skilled labour to all the surrounding East African countries both in humanitarian, economic, social, political and in employment capacity. South Sudan as a country exists due to Kenya's extensive peace campaign envoy that allowed the south to have an independent country. Somalia is much more peaceful in decades due to Kenya's intervention. Kenya provided peace keepers and safe haven for Rwandas citizens during its most trying moments. |

IMF PROJECTS KENYA AS THE TOP ECONOMIC AFRICAN COUNTRY IN @) years. The problem with Nigerians is that they are living in denial that other African countries are really making huge strides economically, socially & politically. The Kenyan economic has grown to be one of the most diversified in Africa due to its open door policy to investors and easy business set up.

nwoke37:Sincerely speaking from an open mind, Nigeria has a very huge potential. Imagine if the Tax regime was formalized and actively used as a source of domestic revenue channel, the results are just mind boggling and a game changer to the ailing Nigerian economy. Over dependency on direct oil revenue is the reason why the Nigerian GDP has stagnated, if oil was to loose its commercial viability then traditional revenue sources and alternatives would have to be adopted. The Kenyan economy deeply depends on tax avenues that can sustain it without over dependence on natural resources but viable commodity resource collection. Imagine a population of 180m in Nigeria and a tax regime of 16% is implied on all commodities, that would be the turning point for Nigerian economy. |
