My dad was able to get connected, through a colleague, to someone within the same area of his school...he had to pay for the service though. |
Team12:You must be very proud of yourself...that's pretty impressive! |
porlo87:It's funny how you keep reposting the same question even after you were told to read some pages backward. And it isn't even entirely clear to me sef...what exactly do you need?? I think you should state your available financial strength from shares to assets to SOA balances, etc (just as some people already did), and then, contributors can tell you if you're good to go or not. |
bighead1:Lool...People not Someone |
edwinbiz:Hi.. I remember everyone at home stressing about this custodian issue for my bro as well...it seems to be a very important document needed for Trv minor applicants. Depending on the area you're headed, just search online for custodian agencies (I remember seeing some in BC and Ontario sha) and email them OR better yet find someone on here, already in canny, who can connect you with a custodian...all dependent on your proposed location o, the person shouldn't be too far from you. Since its urgent pm as many people as you can find here and make your request to them, I believe someone will come through soon. Also bear in mind that you may or may not, if lucky, have to pay for the service. However...Good luck! |
turepadams:Oh yeah, I remember you. Lol...your ultimatum worked after all. Congrats! It's really good to know Paper route is still hopeful though...Thank God! |
Onyeoma3:Don't mind me jare, it's the same school site o...too many additional info from here and there just got me wondering..thanks for clarifying. About the supervisor issue...well, I can't say which route for now, I guess it'll all be easier to decide when I get there (by God's grace) but I know I'll definitely like to do a project either way. Thanks again! |
Onyeoma3:Oh really...the whole thing is just confusing to me, I personally think uOttawa has the worst tuition detailing I've ever seen ![]() But nevertheless, will be hoping to hear about that from you soon sha...thanks a lot! And also do you know how hard it can be for a course-based student to find a willing supervisor for a project?..you mentioned something about that |
Onyeoma3:Lol @ gala and garri I recently noticed you're a uOttawa student and would like to clarify something with you if you don't mind. Do uOttawa grad students offer courses in the summer??...As in, I'll like to make a full year's tuition and I'm not very certain whether I should include summer session fees as well |
BoniTa08:Alright. The delay is probably because of the so many applications being processed atm. Try your best to maintain communication with Manitoba as well. Good luck! |
BoniTa08:You're welcome dear. Masters-Electronic Biz Technologies...what about you? |
BoniTa08:Ok that's about the same time he applied there as well and he's still waiting. Pretty sure you'll hear from them soon. All the best |
BoniTa08:Hi I only know about uOttawa cos I applied there against Fall 2015. Fortunately for me, it took about 4-5weeks but I mostly think it's because I applied early. I know of someone else who applied and hasn't heard anything for about 2 months now. Everything just boils down to the amount of applications being processed right now. What session did you apply for? |
@redribs Lol!..he really got to you abi? pele dear @ipain I'm sorry people came off at you rather harshly...no vex. If you had taken time to go through the thread, you probably may have composed your question way better, without getting hit badly. As justwise said, Visa can't be transferred like that o else the thread would probably still be in part 1 sef. Since funds isn't an issue, I'll advise you talk to your friend (I sincerely hope he's legit) about sponsoring you through school cos that's the fastest way for you to get settled legitimately. P.S: Most people are rather tensed, awaiting admission and medical calls. All the best! |
lovesavvi:Fine so far. uOttawa next Fall |
lovesavvi:Lol |
lovesavvi:Lol...for real? I also thought you were female. Your moniker sounds feminine though, you should probably indicate your gender to make it obvious, else errone else will still think you're a 'ma' |
redribs:Hey Red I'm fine o. How are you holding up with the 'wait'?And yeah, the cold has started kicking in big time o...I hope you're ready to wear as many jackets as possible to keep warm, even me that I'm still all the wayy Fall, I'm already terrified ![]() |
@Vycta I personally have never heard of any agency working in the system which you just described. The norm will be for them to give you a variety of schools based on your budget and interests or better still, you provide them with the schools you like...and they do the job from there. I think the best bet will be for you to take out time, search for the schools you'll prefer and apply yourself. If you have funds ready, this could be completed in a space of 2weeks, then you can start chasing your transcript processing from there on. But if you feel you really really don't have time and need an agent, I'll advice you find a new one. |
vickero:Hello vickero, please when did you apply to SAIT and how long did it take them to get back to you with an offer?? Thanks |
kelvinbp:Yeah you did. I normally advice friends to be ready to apply to 3 or 4 schools just to be safe. And since you have a 2.1 (hopefully a strong one) 3 will be just fine. You could check out schools like MUN, Ottawa, Manitoba, SFU, Dalhousie...if they have the course you'll prefer. From what I know these schools are not crazy expensive and still have good rankings. All the best! |
kelvinbp:Lol..it's She sir If you don't mind though, could you list the schools that turned you down and how good is your UG result?...if it's not a 2.1 and above, then you'll most likely have difficulty getting admission from a Uni |
eddy20:These land properties you guys keep mentioning...I'm confused, is it to serve as Extra monetary value or it's for the sake of proving home ties?? |
ManTiger:Yeah...thanks! |
ManTiger:Really...is that time frame applicable to all?? Well, there's U of A, UOttawa, Dalhousie and SAIT. And to worsen it all someone told me U of A doesn't give admission response until February, which doesn't make any sense because why wait that long? ![]() It's annoying though but no other choice but to pray and wait... |
tianadiva:Congrats dear ![]() |
ManTiger:thanks...his application process is still going on though, right now we are awaiting response from the schools..hoping for good news. |
Joe980:Are you presently in Ottawa?? Anything going on there? ![]() |
kelvinbp:Hi Kelvin Sorry about the refusals...Are you for UG or PG studies? |
ManTiger:Your bro is so lucky to have had you practically see his entire application through. I can relate cos I'm kind of assisting my baby brother as well...and surprisingly, for a guy, you're doing a very good job. Is he a minor? |
amby7:Oh really!...lots of choices for you then Funny thing is I also applied to Mcmaster, as a second choice though. But as redribs pointed out, you'll most likely have to settle for next Fall, if you're bent on going to canny. Good luck! |
morfman:Hi Morfman No, I didn't apply for Winter session, my application is for all the wayy Fall 2015 and I'm yet to receive my official letter of acceptance. U can direct your question to redribs though, he's for winter session uOttawa and already started his Trv application process. |

Lol!..he really got to you abi? pele dear
