But i didnt read where you said the man mentioned your name. You said the said 'somebody in the compound'. Are you Mr everybody?
You didn't read where he said his neighbour's wife accused him of poisoning her children? If you skipped that part, read only the topic again. Women wahala is enough to make a man run before she lie that the guy was peeping her in the bathroom or tried to rape her. And you know our society, they believe women when it comes to these kind of allegations.

Since January my life havent been the same as it used to be cos i dont know how to be vindicated.
For the first time since joining this great forum am solemnly pleading to the Mods to help me move this topic to the frontpage.
Please I beg you with everything, when your house rent expires, never renew it but vacate that house please. Have it in your mind that you have a quit notice already. If those children had died, that is how they will accuse you of killing them. Leave o, because if those children have ordinary malaria, you are the number one suspect. After you vacate that house, karma may fight for you by hitting those children to prove that you are innocent.

I met this lady at katsina during our NYSC. I talked to her as I do to other corp members no emotions or fillings attached. She visited me once with a guy because we are in different PPA. After years of serving we met again on Facebook we started getting along , emotions and fillings comes though we did not see face to face because she was at Dubia at that time. After which I proposed to her and she accepted and we started working towards it. I lost my job that period she send me money and take care of things - in fact she is a very nice lady.
Am not in a relationship since after we had issue though I meet some potential girl but with her in my heart I couldn't do anything. Even when I sent her the voice not concerning our marriage if she is still interested in it or not she has not reply me going to a week now and she has led the messages. I base in Lagos and I earn monthly. All I want is to settle down. What do I do . I'll appreciate your contributions thanks
I don't think you guys are compatible from the look of things. It's not necessary that every good friends who once had a fling for eachother must marry eachother. You people will be better off as friends. The wide distance between you and her is already a turn-off for any intimate relationship, (not sexual). Abeg, if you think you really want to marry, look elsewhere.
PoliticsRe: Electricity Bill:should I Pay The Arrears? by kernniejay(m): 3:16pm On Jun 22, 2023
Dadadede:
Hello Good People,
Another issue just rised today.

It's not up to one year I parked into this building and I have been consistent in paying the current bill for each month.

And the old tenants living in the building were quited due to non renewal of their house rents.

The Power Company just disconnected my light today because of arrears these quited tenants were owning.

They said I should start paying the arrears before they will reconnect my light.
The sum is #324,000. No Prepaid Meter.

So what is the best approach, should I start paying for the arrears of light I did not used?
I am just upset right now.
The landlord should have settled this issue with Nepa before taking you in. FORWARD the outstanding bill to the landlord immediately and let him know that as far as you are concerned, you don't owe Nepa. You said "another issue just arose today" meaning that you have been having issues in the house, are the issues in Nigeria not enough burden already? If he can't rectify your light within shortest possible time, tell him to refund your balance and quit the debt-laden house. That N324k you want to pay on a debt you don't owe will go a long way in augmenting the rent for another apartment. No time for rubbish.
NB: Make sure you make your enquiries well next time before packing into a house.

The only instance where it can be permitted is when things suddenly go wrong with financial situation of the couple and they have to relocate back to husband's parents house.
But that situation will warrant poke nosing from the inlaws and unnecessary interference that will have negative impact on the daughter-in-law (wife). They must never stay too long in a family house otherwise, things might get worse.

NB: Please don't mind that hen called Candidlady.

Imagine a graduate taking a job that requires no educational qualification! Gone are the days when, before you leave school as a graduate or finish your NYSC, companies have already lined up competing to absorb you with juicy offers that come with official car and staff quarters especially if you are a first class graduate. Nigeria has lost its glory.

I was shocked to learn yesterday that 300,000 + Nigerians were issued Visa into the UK in 2022.
There was actually a war in Nigeria especially under the last administration. What war can be more than when farmers are killed right on their farms and their wives raped before being killed, leading to a serious food shortage and hike in foodstuff prices?
What war can be more than when unknown Gunmen announce a sit at home on certain days of the week and whoever flouts the order have his throat slit or bullet sent into his skull?
What war can be more than when the ruling class deliberately cause a divide and rule, create religious resentment among the people, consciously impoverish the masses to render them powerless, make the country unliveable by cost of living and render their currency worthless?
What war can be bigger than ensuring that the people suffocate to death by obnoxious policies and insensitivity of the government to the life threatening plight of the people?

Science/TechnologyRe: Is It Advisable To Use Cooking Gas To Power Generator? by kernniejay(m): 6:12pm On Jun 21, 2023
obembet:
Some Nigerians have resorted to using cooking gas to power their generators as an alternative source of power alleging that a 2kg cooking gas powers for 12 hours.

But I believe gas cylinder shouldn't be that close to a generator not to talk of using it to power generator. I believe it's Super risky.
Using cooking gas to power a gasoline (petroleum) generator is not just risky but also deadly! No manufacturer of those generator will ever specify that gas can be used as alternative fuel. But in Nigeria, we know better and we are smarter than the manufacturers, there is nothing we don't by pass or take for granted and we are fond of re-designing machines and equipment to suit our madness here.

Cylinders are supposed to be placed outside the kitchen away from the gas cooker for safety. Those gas cylinders with burners on top are camp gas that is not supposed to be used indoor, but in Nigeria who cares? Anything goes.

That "half imbe" that you mentioned caught my attention. The guy has successfully made himself a nuisance on this platform. Despite how glaring it was that the past president was a complete failure personified, the "imbe" kept calling him his darling daddy and hailing all his failure. He must certainly be an "imbe" truly.

That some elite stakeholders/foreigners supposedly “know better about economics” is IRRELEVANT.

Economics has NEVER been one-size-fits-all…
Rather, intelligent economic policies are BESPOKE to fit the PECULIAR circumstances of the population.
>
You have already buttressed my point. The intelligent economic policies you mentioned takes a process to achieve. I'm sure you know that part of the process to achieve the "development" you talked about is monetary policies, uprooting the wrong people and fixing the right people, blocking wastages and maximizing resources which all takes wisdom and calculation. The only problem is dealing with the mentality of the people you are leading and making them realize that these are for their benefit and can't be achieved overnight by magic or abracadabra.

You are right, the impatient Nigerians want a short-cut, a kind of get rich quick syndrome that is charactarized of money ritualists and fraudsters. The hunger is so bad that they cant wait for the baker to finish baking before they bring the dough out of the oven and consume raw flour. They forget that to destroy is fast but to repair takes time. The business tycoons and stakeholders know better about economics and what will be the long-term dividends of these policies if left to thrive, which far outweigh the immediate gratification that the poor masses are seeking.

With the way Sho Baba is going, I want to move the motion that INEC should kuku be giving the form to him free every 4 years because he is a regular customer daada.
Check my signature for free stuffs!
I wonder too. Only PDP's presidential form alone was N40m and APC's form was N100m.

That is why Tinubu is known to be a master politician. He has factored such losses ahead, so he has done his homework thoroughly by securing enough northern states ahead because he understands the game better. He has envisaged shortfalls in some states so he has planned to make up for those lost numbers in other populous states. Sincerely, Peter Obi put up a good contest but his undoing was that he was unable to gain enough grounds in the north. He really tried.

You are referring to Peter Obi, that beat Tinubu hands-down in the past election. Peter Obi that ran in an unknown party and still whooped Tinubu nationwide.
The same Peter Obi that beat Tinubu in the state that Tinubu once governed, and is still governed by his fellow former convicted criminal acolytes.
The same Peter Obi whose electoral excellence forced Tinubu to resort to rigging.

Peter Obi would have achieved more, and wouldn't have caused the current drastic increased price of fuels.

Ofunaofu, don't ever make the mistake of underrating BAT again. Peter Obi can never be on the same pedestal with Bola Tinubu. Sentiments apart, they are not on the same league when you are talking about politics. Know this and know peace. Cheers!
