xavuv:I have been hearing this since early 1990s. Anyway, may be that corner is 200 years away. |
ebubeson:God bless you. You are so precise and accurate. I love it. God bless the Mod that moved this post to Front Page too. |
Somebody bought a Nigerian used Honda Accord and the seller introduced him to a nearby mechanic. While doing some repairs on the car, the mechanic drove the car in mud and the mud covered radiator. When the new owner was driving home, overheating began and valve seal was burnt, las las the engine continue to smoke and kill plugs until the new owner sold it as scrap. |
Ykc2:Honestly, you have serious problem. What did I say that warrant such attack from you? |
Boomkalakuta:You just displayed your ignorance. If you are knowledgeable enough in your history, nobody will have to explain to you how your fore-father Pa Nnamdi Azikiwe betrayed Chief Obafemi Awolowo and went to connive with Alhaji Ahmadu Bello because he wanted to become the the first President to the Prime Minister. |
shortIGBOman:They are free to jump bro, the Lagoon is open. |
Because they want to show off. Either to prove to other car owners that they are driving a healthy car, or that they are expert in driving. |
Timblogga:Havn't you bought that Honda Accord since January 2022 ? |
ibinaboonline:If you like American, why not consider something like Ford? I also see you considering Mazda and Murano, it's like you have a taste for stress and trouble, instead of the Mazda minivan, why not looking at Volvo XC90 or instead of Murano, why not Honda Pilot 2012 or Benz GLK if you can afford it? |
fineboynl:I'm not surprised at all. That is why most people will leave their villages to come and claim Lagos. I didn't mention any tribe but anyone that feels offended should go hug a transformer. |
Livingstone124:The hard labour means that as he is in prison, he will be subjected to serious menial jobs like cutting grass, clearing gutters, sweeping a community, packing drainages etc. He will be doing all these and many more throughout his prison term while he is in chains. |
If Nigeria is a serious country, somebody like MC Oluomo should be in jail by now. |
Both of them should relocate. Their expired generation plunged Nigeria into this rot that the new generation is grappling with today. |
This story no clear o. Is he collecting the child from previous buyer and reselling to later buyers? In all these, where is the child's mother? Anyway, he should be sentenced to 9 years imprisonment with hard labour. |
chccho:I wonder how much your fine could have reached by the time you want to renew the certificate. |
fineboynl:In this life, I have learnt never to let good opportunities pass me by again. If I were you, I will buy this car, I may resell it at a price not too far from the amount I bought it if there is any reason for me not to use it. I personally like manual driving anyway, I may just change the rims to alloy. Op, do you often do interstate travels? If you don't, why stressing yourself with custom papers on a 20 years old car? Modified: North is very far o. Bringing it may be quite expensive and if the car will be driven down here, consider the mileage the car will gather from that trip alone o, and find out what custom officers' disposition will be on a 2003 car. Ensure you are loaded with plenty cash to pay your way because you will certainly encounter a number of security personnel and check points. With these points, negotiate the price of the car further with the seller if he can still consider. NB: Be very careful cos there are many scammers claiming to be car dealers from the North and requesting for deposit or advance payment oh. Best of luck. |
That is more reason his political party should be voted out by all means. |
I remember that saga back then. God really showed mercy to this woman. |
Nigeria is remotely controlled by all our lenders, from World Bank, IMF and even to the Chinese lenders. That is why Nigeria government must always obey whatever dictates the lenders give out on recouping their money. Remember that the IMF advised Nigeria government to increase its VAT and electricity tariff in order to meet up with its loan servicing. When subsidy is finally removed, the fund will be used in servicing loan which we may not finish paying in the next 30 years. But the sad truth is that as Nigeria is borrowing these monies, some people in government are embezzling it heartlessly. |
I dont know why Nigerian politics must always involve using assassins, thugs, touts or hooligans. |
Moh247:For the first time, you say something reasonable. NB: Hope you are aware that your hero, MC Oluomo is at it again, intimidating voters? I'm waiting for your defence of him as his lead counsel and legal adviser. |
OmidheBlessing:1. Being over religious at work: Your work place is not the place to be reading your bible habitually or be singing praises and worship not minding the distraction you are causing for other workers. Some will fast for days running into weeks or months as declared by their churches only to get to work and become weak and tired to lift a finger. Some muslims will want to observe all the hourly Islamic prayers because they are faithful and cant afford to renege on their religious precepts. You will be surprised that rather than to be promoted because of your spirituality, you may not only be stagnant on a position, you may eventually be let go. 2. Eye service: Rather being proactive, you are only active when your boss is around or when a Management staff is in the scene. Dont think this will form their basis of judgement about you, even if you are able to deceive them into promoting you, you cannot sustain this for long before your true personality is revealed. If your boss is not aware of your eye service, your colleagues know about your strategy and they are only waiting for the right time to expose you, not because they are jealous but because your habit of performing eye service is actually irritating to everyone. Eye service cannot take you anywhere, even if it gets you somewhere, it wont take you far. 3. Unecessary delegation: There are tasks that you perform and there are tasks that you have to delegate. If your boss expects you to carry out a task but you pass it on to your subordinate to do, you are indirectly passing a message that you are incapable and your subordinate is better than you and more qualified to do it. You may think you are training your subordinate to be more competent, yes you are right, you are also grooming him to replace you. If you have to train a subordinate on the job, make sure you are there so that you wont give the impression that you are lazy to do the job. Don't get it wrong, there are times you actually have more urgent tasks to perform, or an important appointment to attend and in these case your superior must be aware that you have delegated the given reaponsibilty to someone else. But in the case where you are specifically expected to do a work, dont pass it to someone else without any obvious reason if you don't want to become irrelevant. This leads me to the next similar point. 4. Always complaining or looking for excuses: If you are the type that always complains or always seeing something wrong in every work given you, you will be becoming toxic for others to work with and you may be doing yourself a disservice. If something is not right, ensure you make necessary moves to correcting it. For instance, if the filing system in your office is so disorganized or there is a poor network system or it is is not functioning at all, rather than be grumbling about it all about the office or using that as an alibi to become idle, call the attention of the concerned officers to it for their action. Don't see things lie fallow and you lay back waiting for someone else to see it and do something. Be the first to make a move for solution, don't exhibit an "I don't care" attitude. 5. Not being approachable: How approachable are you and how are your interpersonal relations with your superiors, colleagues, subordinates or co-workers in general? Your boss must not be timid to call on you, your colleagues should not be intimidated when working with you and your subordinates should not be afraid to work closely with you. Be open to others, hear their suggestions, give them chance to prove their point and don't always impose your ideas on others. Also be free to discuss or work with anybody. Don't make yourself an island that should stand alone and at the same time don't give people too much ground to step on, otherwise, they will overstep their bounds and it may backfire at fire. Generally speaking, just give people the chance they deserve but don't give an impression that you are everything goes. Thanks Op. |
oyin44:I know you will be happy. Atleast your stupid religion has something to point at now as a partner in crime. Unfortunately for you, IPOB doesnt kill in the name of Jesus, but other terrorist religion kill by shouting Allah Akbar. |
Agrico1:Rest ke, that will be the beginning of real suffering for some people, including all Nigerian politicians. |
BAT will sack Emefiele. |
Sanwo-Olu has obviously become jittery and scared to his marrow by what he saw at the last presidential election result in Lagos. He is indeed a baby politician because this format he is using is no more in vogue. |

The campaign posters in the pictures below were pasted on the wall of the fence of a school facing the LCDA building. Residents in the area said the politicians have been using the condition of the street to campaign year after year and make vain promises all to no effect. On the posters are notable politicians that are in charge of Lagos who all have the wherewithal to order necessary repair and reconstruct the street but the residents have always been left to their poor fate after each election victory of these politicians. It is so unfortunate that this is the situation of a street that is next to a LCDA building in the heart of Lagos. This is an appeal to the authorities concerned to rise and do something about the condition of Olaitan Oshinnuga street in Alapere, Ketu, Lagos and other streets that may be in similar condition. I believe that the Governor in Lagos, the Senator representing this constituency, Kosofe Local Government Chairman as well as all the people at the helm of affairs in Lagos are action people. I trust something will be done as soon as this information reaches them.
|
This is Olaitan Oshinnuga Street. This street is right beside the LCDA Building shown above. The street is a complete eye sore and almost becoming inhabitable. it is a shame that the LCDA building is sitting comfortably next to this street in the so-called mega city of Lagos and no LCDA official sees anything wrong with this. Whenever it rains, the gutters along the street overflow to the street and this remains the condition of the street even for several weeks of intense sunshine after no drop of rain. The puddle of the murky sewage water you are seeing in the picture is as a result of a rain that has fallen about 2 weeks ago and note that rainy season is not fully here yet as at the time of posting this (March 2023). This sewage breed giant rodents and mosquitoes which torment the residents. The stench of terrible odour coming from the street alone is hellish.
|
This is Agboyi-Ketu LCDA building. The building is named Senator Bayo Osinnowo Administrative Block. The LCDA building is located in Alapere, Ketu, a popular area in the supposed mega city of Lagos. This LCDA is under Kosofe Local Government in Lagos.

N580K Bride price how? BRIDE PRICE is different from WEDDING EXPENSES oh. Correct your heading/topic. To the issue, her husband cannot be forced to do anything for her family, besides, the younger brother is not her husband's responsibility. If her younger bro cannot afford to marry he should remain single. That so-called wife is a liability and she is on mission to wreck the innocent man thaf has married her. Her family too is a parasitic family. |
