trapQ: With 1% oil right? How many oil companies are in those states you mentioned? Listen, what ikwerre boys do happens all over the federation.. Also its very wrong to tag NDs as lazy simply because they demand to discontinue feeding the nation. This system of government is worse than broad day light robbery. they will continue to feed the nation until there is no more oil there and then Nigeria will throw them away. then shall they and Ikwere people will realize that it is wrong to join the enemy against your brother in a fight. during the civil war they and Ikwere fought their brothers and sabotaged the struggle. Ikwere seized their brothers properties after the war,we have put all that away now and moved on.you said 1% oil,do u know how many underground pipes running crude from IMO and Abia to ph and Beyelsa? do you know how many communities cut out from IMO and Abia to form Rivers state because of oil? just forget. you all who cost us the war will all feel it more. |

Per the ikwerre issue, is it your problem? Isnt Lagos Omo onile worse off than the ikwerre boys? You're saying this crap cuz SE has nothing other regions benefit from. for your information, Imo and Abia are oil producing states and Nigeria benefit from that. Ikwere people are the reason many southeasterns refuse to invest in Port Harcourt . |

The hunger and starvation currently ravaging the entire northern and south western Nigeria can be likened to the kind of hunger that visited Ethiopian and Somalia during the great drought of the 1990s .Owambe (parties) have suddenly become a thing of the past ever since Buhari became president. |

Godemcee: I notice the kinda support ipob yoots give Donald trump even though he always insult Nigeria nd the whole Africa.if u check biafra page on facebook u will find topic like' Donald trump tell buhari let igbo go'.they always live in self delusion nd always deceive themself like Donald trump knows bout history of biafra or give a Bleep bout them.agreed Donald trump is not really a fan of islam(I use to support him cause of that before cause I think obama support Islamic radicals).but if this ipob yoot think trump would carry out all his dumb threat they''re on a Long thing cause the world doesn't operate like that. Donald trump won't give u biafra instead he would deport ur brothers nd sisters in USA nd he would get support cause America is full of racist shit nd u would end up losing my bro, weather or not Donald Trump will support their quest is not the point. the point is that Donald Trump is anti islamism and jihadism which is clearly visible that the current Nigerian government is supporting via Fulani herdsmen and the release of jailed book haram members. Donald Trump won't look the other way of a government notorious for anti democratic tendencies and shooting of unarmed protesters. it is clear that some Republican politicians in the USA are increasingly voicing out against Buhari anti democratic tendencies. |

Politics › Re: Sos To Fashola All Federal Roads Linking Southeast Have Collapsed by kettle84(m): 4:21pm On Sep 11, 2016 |
Abagworo: I think time for blame game is over as we are matching towards 2nd year of masses backed paradigm shift in Nigerian politics which saw a ruling party losing power for the 1st time. While we appreciate the gains made as well as the challenging economic situation stemming from sharp drop in oil prices, it cannot be an excuse for failure or business as usual. Yours truly made a brief journey accross Southeast and I can't help but feel sad about our plight. I plied Port Harcourt to Enugu via Aba and Umuahia, Enugu to Onitsha via Awka and then Onitsha to Port Harcourt via Owerri. None of the roads is even good. Onitsha/Owerri expressway is almost caving in at Okija with some potholes close to Owerri but is by far the best or probably the only motorable link road in Southeast.
I'm home in Port Harcourt right now and thinking about the best solution. It is true that Igbos have taken it upon themselves to fight Buhari government and didn't even give meaningful vote to APC but we are all Nigerians. It is equally true that the roads are in this condition because tbe last PDP government which Igbos supported took Igbos for granted and felt they are politically irrelevant hence the neglect but we have to find a lasting solution to road crisis.
My suggestion is absolute privatization of roads. We can do it like we did in privatizing power. Its time to start selling the highways to willing registered corporations so that they make money and maintain the roads. The road crisis in Southeast is beyond government right now. I think it is wrong to say Igbo's have taken it upon themselves to fight Buhari. The Southeast is part of Nigeria and shouldn't be neglected .The federation most have a rethink .the governors and citizens of the southeast must come around and chart a way forward and have a political direction to be politically relevant. we must participate smartly in politics, no region can fight for us we must do it ourselves. the era of playing football and going to market on election day is over. we have the population and must have a common political destiny to achieve greatness in Nigeria. |

hectorswag: Yes I need to state the obvious, that's why PDP has to be blamed. Everyone is criticizing the government but not one person has come out to provide a solution and say this is what & what needs to be done!
Watch this video of Kemi Adeosun explaining the steps the government is taking regarding the economy, maybe you will understand better: https:///xviH6rP8xo APC is almost 2yrs in office and it has been 'we will' 'we are going to' and so on. no concrete action is going on and Nigerians are going hungry are starving. investors in the aviation, maritime and manufacturing sectors are closing shop and fleeing with their money. instead of the government to fashion out ways to inject money into the economy, they are bringing policies to draw out money from the already shrinking economy. |

hectorswag: You guys should try and understand that the present predicament we're in isn't the fault of the current government. The previous government - PDP was spending the oil money it made on recurrent expenditures with no investments, so no that oil is down & limited we're suffering it.
Buhari's government is doing every it takes to diversify the economy & invest in infrastructure which would last and boost productivity, that's why you see construction and roads & railways renovations going on everywhere. Once these things are in place the government would be able to move those tomatoes and other agricultural products that are rotting away to places where they can be easily processed.
That's the strategy! So please be patient with the government. Also if it's job you seek, there's currently a need of workers in the construction and agricultural sectors because those are the main areas this government is investing in. enough of the blame game.it was this same APC that pressured Jonathan into using the excess crude and he left some to the current government. this government need to Marshall out plans to check the problems. enough of blames |
