Are you talking of the people that tried to cause mayhem today at St.Mary's church Nyanya,Abuja? No I doubt if they are fasting. I just lost my last ounce of respect for them after today.

Abeg no one died ooo to the best of my knowledge! I went visiting my folks and attended mass(service)there, slipped out of church when I sensed trouble brewing as a sharp Edo guy before it became serious.Anyway, thanks to the effort of the soldiers and police who dispersed those fools.
I think the main cause of the protest was the okada man saying the punishment meted to him by the soldiers made him spoil his fast and not someone's death.
The soldiers didn't torture anyone,please. Infact, It was their calmness while waiting for reinforcements that gave those fools the effontery to be displaying on bikes,smashing the glasses of any car that want to pass and started a bonfire using tire and petrol. On arrival of the reinforcement the fools took their heels and went into hiding.

Ever heard of recession? The price of a bag of garri/rice/beans last year is now higher than it was; school fees, light bills, fuel price all sky rocketing at the same time and do not seem to slow down any moment and these are basic amenities , yet basic income is going the other direction. Organizations are slashing salaries and laying off workers everyday thereby reducing the purchasing power of consumers and this affects those in business negatively as the expected consumers purchase less or no goods at all. I am not surprised you are financially down because like every one else you are only feeling the effect of the global financial meltdown.Abeg, don't let anyone deceive you that you are the cause.

My brother you seem to be a hardworking man, some men in Nigeria at age 31 can not even boast of a rented 1 bedroom flat not to talk of actually owning/building one at age 24/25. Now what exactly is your wife's contribution financially to the family? It seems she's not gainfully employed or into trading else she won't have time to be going from one church to the other and from one Pastor to another when she should be finding ways of assisting the husband financially.

2 Thessalonians 3:10 "He who does not work shall not eat". I.e If you don't find other streams of income for yourself and your wife in particular instead of spending the whole day in church or with one pastor the situation will remain the same my brother.
