This Musk no get sense! Even those who have paid $8 for being verified will still be limited. RIP Twitter! |
Abuja airport stats is basically mostly because of the politicians.
Not true! Abuja truly has the traffic! I'm there 5 days a week. The politicians rarely fly commercial airlines but private ones which were not figured in the data! However, Abuja is not close to Lagos when it comes to international flights! |
tete7000:Fuel scarcity in Nigeria is hardly a function of smuggled fuel, rather, a reaction of marketers to any slight price increase. Besides, filling stations in Benin are already selling for almost the equivalent of #800, it will make no sense to buy smuggled fuel at same price |
tete7000:As long as it's not been subsidized by our Federal Government, they can buy as much as they can. |
Bobloco:This has nothing to do with propaganda. I have witnessed that of Benin Republic way back in 2012 even to the smallest level of loading motorbikes built specially to carry minimum 200 litres. It's not just Benin. Other border towns in Niger, Cameroon etc. are also huge beneficiaries of smuggled subsidized Nigerian fuel. If you had strolled to border towns before now, you would have witnessed this first hand! |
yom2:if other coins' withdrawal are enabled then use them instead, why remain stuck with USDT alone? |
Abokiijebu:Shhhh... don't explain anything to him nor argue with him. Let him wallow in his ignorance! |
News is not clear! General Aviation Terminal at Abuja is actually where the private aircrafts are often parked. On any given day at the airport, you will never find Air peace, Dana, Arik Air or any commercial airline parked here. What you will find are just private jets and other private airlines. Some have not even flown for weeks, just parked right there. In conclusion, I doubt this directive concerns Airpeace and the rest but expect heavy road traffic to the Airport that day! |
Yankiss:She's originally from Kenya but competing as Bahrain. |
Solidkay:lol...She's Kenyan by birth. |
Octopusssy:Same news, different location (Kenya). This one even specifies type of acid! https://www.google.com/amp/s/ke.opera.news/ke/en/economy-finance/amp/117497c2a30eadaf1e91b0972b4af1be#bsht=CgRmYnNtEgQIAzAC Location is not even the bone of contention here. The pouring of acid on the bowl of groundnuts makes no logical sense just because the title says so. Acid will even disintegrate the groundnut! |
Just because someone slaps a title to a video doesn't mean I will have to think along the same line! Something else might be going on in the video other than what the title insinuates. Except the man plans to sell a cup of "acidified" groundnuts for a premium price of $100 or more, I fail to see the logic of pouring so called acid in the groundnut as against conventional method of roasting or boiling them. And no, this did not happen in Nigeria either! |
Evestar200:Add four zeros that was removed during the redenomination exercise in 2007 to get the true value of cedis used in purchasing 6 measly tomatoes! |
Your Photoshop forgot to switch the GIN to NGA! Yours won't fly! Take it back to your agbado WhatsApp group for your 'Photoshop professionals' to do a better editing! |
Just a few more days to tribunal hearings! APC tick tock! Time winds down slowly, all these distractions are pointless! |
GEJTILL2019:That's a tough one. Better to get the appointment with HND because they will not regard it except you get another civil service job with your HND or you apply to school while working with ND. Whatever the case try and get your BSC! |
GEJTILL2019:Feel free to ask... |
mrpassionate:Thanks I've sorted it out. |
Chatflick:The person will be sending from bank account. |
I am trying to receive some money from a friend in Switzerland. The options available to me to receive this money will involve using the official rate which will make the money smaller. What options are available for me to get the money using black market rate instead. Thanks in advance |
ForG:Our standard voltage in Nigeria is 220 V at 50 Hz. Lesser voltage means lesser current running through Ur appliance(bulb burns dimly) and higher voltage means higher current (bulb burns brightly and burst if too much) Problem is the choke is meant to regulate air inflow so that the rich fuel+air mixture burns properly when cool till the engine is warm, then it has to be returned. i.e more fuel needed when you start the gen. My best guess is that not returning the choke to normal position will only let your fuel burn fast, aside that, I can't think of any other harm that may arise. |
This gen does not have an inbuilt voltage regulator! A voltage regulator is what we call stabilizer in layman's language. It helps to keep the fluctuating power under normal voltage and your appliances working under normal voltage. Without it, sudden high voltages from your gen will damage your appliances. And trust me this "I-pass-my-neighbour" is a master of producing fluctuations from very high to low. Even that screw you are looking for to tighten will disappoint you. If you can save, save up to buy a better TEC gen or any gen with in-built stabilizer. If you don't have money to save for a better gen with voltage regulator, try balancing your load when you put on the gen. You do this by running ceiling fan, 100 watts bulb or any appliances that consume power. Do this first before rushing to plug laptop or phone chargers! Never plug your low wattage appliances first to your I-pass-my-neighbour gen! |
Who ever sells his/her vote tomorrow already had the intention to. Whether it's old notes, new ones or even transfer, you already had that intention! Lack of new notes is a stupid and poor excuse to sell your vote! |
EnterpriseMan:It is really annoying! |
INEC this is a very poor excuse! Look for another one as lack of physical cash will not fly! |
The news article reeks of propaganda and sensationalism. If the Fulani woman selling Fura de nunu around my place of work(airport) is accepting transfer of #400 for sale of nunu, why will hospitals, a bigger entity, not accept transfers? ![]() |
Tpave:I might be getting a bit old to understand such things but how do you oppress with a phone? I can agree using a car or a house to "oppress" others because, out of experience, I know what it takes to maintain them. But a phone? I fail to see the oppression. How does this oppression work? |
Lol...Oil marketers are thieves! Let them strike, we are used to it already! Over here in Abuja, Fuel scarcity since February 2022! Going on strike now will only add more months to the record of longest fuel scarcity caused by an administration in Nigeria! |
PeterObi4LP:That's the point of these whole gymnastics the people who took the case to supreme court are doing. All the court needs to do is keep adjourning the case till after elections which is the reason CBN, which is the main actor, was not added in the case because it will be struck out immediately. |
vickydevoka:Fear not! CBN will accept your 50k old notes whenever you return to Nigeria even if it's next year, along with some documentations like tax proof, your business and so on! |
erniok:Smartphones is even going too far and might be complex for average user. Just an NFC payment card is OK. The card is preloaded with money and you just tap the authenticating device for payment, shikena! erniok:I agree. CBN, NURTW, market unions can work together. |
Make bus and keke cards that use NFC(Near Field Communication) to complete transactions just by tapping another device. It does not even depend on network or internet. Same cards can be replicated for paying in markets and smaller shops. Old technology existing in Nigeria for ages but because we are stubborn and like stress, we stuck to using cash for virtually everything, we continue to complain about scarce notes. If I talk now, someone will come and be giving me poor excuse of how one grandma in the village does not have network or bank account! |
