No it won't...Feel free to fly. Planes fly at Night and during the day nothing happens let alone a momentary blocking of the sunlight by the moon.

Planes depend on a host of parameters when flying QNH,QFE (pressure readings), cloud height e.t.c Therefore the blocking of sunlight for a few hours has no effect except the pilots decide to engage in watching the eclipse instead of concentrating on flying the plane instead.

I believe the Pilots in the house will have more info than I have.

There's nothing mysterious about all these reptiles hiding in unusual places. Humans have taken over their habitats/their homes. We have constructed buildings on both dry land, forests, swamps even waterways which are natural habitats for these animals and we are complaining as if the world belongs to humans alone, mtcheeew!
There was a picture of transcorp hilton in Maitama back in the 70's or 80's can't remember that was posted on Nairaland some time ago.
Go and check that picture again and tell me if you will not find thick bushes and trees around the building, these are stuffs that make up a forest and a natural habitat for these animals. Fast forward to 2013, go and check maitama again and tell me what you see there, meanwhile these animals in that area must survive just like the humans and must have been hiding and procreating in one corner till one of them strays unnoticed into a building there or a car parked there and people start crying wolf.
We've driven over a snake crossing the road innocently at Giri junction abuja, now just imagine we parked to drop off passengers at that junction for 2 mins and the snake innocently climbs into the car and we drive it home, hand over the car keys to a relative who happens to notice the snake when driving the following day. Amdiwon: I will like to use this medium to raise an alarm over the unprofessional law newly created by First Bank of Nigeria PLC. I believe this crude idea should be stopped before it spread across all their branches. I went to one of their branches at ACME Road Ogba, Ikeja Lagos to deposit some amount of money. I took permission from my boss to quickly go to deposit some money due to its urgency but to my amazement, the security man at the bank told me I couldn't be allowed in because I was wearing a safety boots. I insisted that this was not the first time I had been coming to make deposits in the bank but he said that was the new law, that I should pull off my shoes and wear a bathroom slippers provided by the bank. At first, I felt bad and wish there was another bank that the payment could be made but after consideration of the urgency of the payment, I had to do what he said by pulling off my safety boots and socks and wearing a bathroom slippers into the bank. Seriously, I felt so embarrassed. I know the banks are security-conscious[b] but is this the best way to treat their esteemed customers?[/b]

You were offered an alternative to boots! What else do you want "golden shoes'' ? . Since you know the banks are just being security conscious while are you then complaining on Niaraland...

Truexgold, I'd like to have my PM account funded. Last time I funded my account using your service I had to go to the bank to make a deposit but I had like to use mobile banking (Access Bank) to do that as I don't think I will have access to any bank today cos of my tight schedule but will like to have the account funded today.

bookface: I agree with this - what i do not agree with is that the Church is "a place". The Church is a group of people who have accepted Christ as their personal lord and saviour and seek to worship him. The church could be three or four people in a sitting room just singing worship songs or hymnals to the glory of the Lord.

The Church is NOT a place where thousands of people of different minds/intentions flock to every Sunday in flamboyant dresses and flashy cars simply to fulfil a tradition. The Church is NOT a place where Pastors stand on the plupit and proclaim themselves to be "men of God" who can't be questioned. The Church is NOT a place where Pastors with riches and wealth demand that their poor followers bring a tenth of their earnings in return for "windows of blessings" -
