Politics › Re: Salient Points Deduced From President Buhari's Media Chat Today - Must Read by khassy(m): 4:38am On Dec 31, 2015 |
morereb10: Hello Nigerians, it is indeed a wonderful time today with the No. 1 of this country in the honour of Mr. President Gen. Muhammadu Buhari on the Media Chat eared today. It is indeed an honour to be in the company of Mr. President. Alright wait, even though I wasn't in the same room with him, but from were i was watching (in my room with 3D Tv) it seems like i was with him and each time he is been asked question, i even feel the impact. Oboy, you sure say i fit be in front of the President at all? oh common I can but if he asked me any question, i go shit for my pant direct. hahahahah. No be joke ooo.
Their is something different with this President. I think he is quite different from what we use to know. Maybe because he was an Army Gen. Yes ! That's got it. or maybe be the awe around him. When he was answering the question of one of the Premium Times journalist, it seem to me like Buhari is even interrogating him, in fact from were i was sitting, i no go lie you, I felt so afraid for the man. I was just praying that he shouldn't say something that we get him detained immediately....lol. Oboy. But the Channels TV journalist was cool though and calm.
I now see were Gen. Buhari is coming from. When he was asked why the FG have done everything in their power to continuously disobey the order of the court if it doesn't favor the Government, his answer was straight forward and even though there are very good reason for what they have done and intend to do again and again and again but is not worth it. They can't just disobey the court just because they have good intentions.
In Buhari's word when he was asked why FG have continued to flaunt the order of the court in Dasuki's case:
How can we allow someone like NSA Boss Dasuki to take bail and travel to America for checkup while he was given ($40b or N40b i didn't remember exactly) for arms and he stole and shared the money while we have IDP's we need to feed and economy of Nigeria growing worst?
When asked about Pro-Biafra leader Nnamdi Kanu, he said:
Do you know that what he has committed is a treasonable felony? Do you know that he has two passports? He has British Passport and Nigeria Passport? And yet he didn't use any to enter this country when he was coming. Did you know also that he imported equipments that he wants to use to start his Biafra radio here in Nigeria? Do you know what he can cause in this country? Is that how you want me to run this country? To give felon bail to go?
I was really amazed on the way Mr. president was answering this questions. Just like he is the one interrogating the journalist....lol, it is very funny but any person or persons that wants to play with this man is really really in trouble. He seems upright, but politics always plays its part though but Buhari is a different man altogether, almost like a god. He is like - complete article on http://www.exlinklodge.com/2015/12/salient-points-deduced-from-president.html And he can't still fulfill one campaign promise .... Dumbest statement ever seen |

comradeGafar: @Darhmmy, and you think students have the right/could be so daft or stupid to embark on strike? Oh! It seems you do not understand the situation of things on campus. Over the years, whenever the management introduces any of her obnoxious policies, the students' union can only react being a pressure group by declaring a lecture boycot which has never in the history of OAU gone beyond 72 hours or to embark on a peaceful protest to press home their demands in which they 'll return back to class immediately after the protest. On no occasion has the students voluntarily announced STRIKE as a way of making a request, it has never happened before. Rather, it has always been the management who because of their unwillingness and non-challant attitude towards the demands of their students always decide to SHUT DOWN the school, infact they wont call it strike as at the point of closing the school, instead, they call it MID-SEMESTER BREAK.
The general public needs to be aware of the fact that IFE students does not have the effontery to proclaim STRIKE, it's erroneous. It's the responsibility and administrative power of the management to decide the closure and opening of the school. It's quite unfortunate seeing the people's perception of OAU's students. Whenever there is closure, we tend to blame the students. Dont forget, you all chose OAU because of its greatness, let me tell that her greatness was not by accident, MANY STUDENTS, GENERATIONS OF STUDENTS fought (Academically and Alutally) tiredlessly and painstakingly to earn the laudable grearness, to ensure that IFE did not metamorphos into Unilorin or OOU. With all due respect , I believe you'll rather choose a school that gives you a fixed graduation date than one who always go on "mid-semester break" It is of interest to know that the same set of people I gained admission with in the same year are currently running the second semester of the first year while I have finished my first year, had a break of four months (in which time I gained lifetime skills) and currently about to finish my first semester examination for my second year The idea of student unionism and aluta is been abused especially in OAU, why waste people's time at home and the "just cause" you all think you're fighting for never materialises ?? I rather remain at Unilorin(or the advanced secondary school as you prefer to call it) get a degree in precisely four years and forge ahead with life than waste donkey years in school in the name of student unionism and aluta continua whose demands are never met. Its time for OAU SUG to go back to the drawing board and devise new strategies because its evident your current strategies are as effective as flogging a dead horse !!!! NO OFFENSE INTENDED #NoUniversityIsBetterThanTheOther |

dlivefeeds: Our bodies need a certain amount of sodium to survive, and one of the most common ways we get it is in salt. About 40% of what's in your table salt is sodium.
Salt does more than just take that caramel cookie to the next level. Healthy levels of it in the body also help keep our blood pressure under control and ensure that our muscles and nerves function properly.
Each person reacts to salt differently. But generally, physicians agree that if you want to control high blood pressure, you should limit your salt intake, and not doing so can be unhealthy.
Here are some of the reasons: http://www.thelivefeeds.com/when-you-eat-too-much-salt-read-this/
