Nice post robosky02!!! I don't know when African FAs will stop their over dependent on Government. Hence we have so many problems. African FA chairmen need to work very hard to change that situation.

Person wey no fit fix hut wan go fix bungalow?

Mr Pinnick you have to do a very good job at home and be commended for.. Before doing any thing outside. Other than that we will also believe all ya moves outside are for selfish reasons.

I can understand your frustration madam, but, patience is golden. I would advice you let your kid be a footballer first, then, prayer he/she is a good footballer to merit being called, then, let us see how it goes from there.

So many have said worst things, they went back and ate their vomit, it ridicules one and make one stupid.
On Point!

#Good one!

Very very Unfortunate what is happening now. But I will share the blame. It is high time in Africa the FA's stop the sourcing or majority of their funds from the goverments. They have to find other sources of money, bcoz most goverments in Africa are always broke or have too many things to do. African FA's have to free themselves from the shackles of Government.

It been a very very long time since I commented on the sport minister. I don't know how he got selected for the post?

#Pathetic!!!

Congratulations to fc ifeanyi ubah .

They were the poorer team today but penalties is for the brave... they fully deserve it.

So it's a back-to-back victory for the south easterners with Enugu rangers winning the NPFL & FC ifeanyi ubah winning the FED cup.

Oga years ago when other local stations refused to air the league it was NTA that was showing the league.

It's this new broadcast deal that has made it impossible (I think Supersport got the sole broadcasts right...I might be wrong)
true talk! They need to move on from that. They need to up their game especially now that they have star times.

vybzkartel:
I am surprised Nigerians think they can beat algeria, when you could not even beat egypt, smh wait till till you see slimani and matter tear your yeye defense apart. When last did Nigeria beat a decent African side? Face the reality, useless team that could not even qualify for AFCON. Real African giants, ivory coast, Ghana, Senegal, Cameroon, Algeria, egypt
you think Egypt is that easy to beat ko? Well Things have changed from March till now. Football isn't played on paper or by names. The Super Eagles look different now compared to then. Yes it a shame they wouldn't qualify for the Afcon but the truth of the matter is that most countries has it highs and lows in football.

You would mention Slimani, Mahrez and so on. Nigeria too has similar talents in Iheanacho, Ighalo, Musa, Iwobi etc.

Verdict; the match won't be a stroll for either side.

Sports › Re: No New Chelsea Contract For John Mikel Obi, Says Conte by khattab02: 11:50am On Nov 05, 2016
aaronson:
True, Chelsea currently play all attack, all defend unlike the former counter attack where he was prominent in the midfield.
I think Mikel can fit into whatever formation Chelsea wants to play given what he plays for the National team and how he can adapt to changes.

He will be valuable to the team when injuries start creeping into the squad.

Sports › Re: Carl Ikeme Out Of Nigeria's World Cup Qualifier Against Algeria by khattab02: 2:47pm On Nov 04, 2016
LordofNairaland:
We need a loyal goalkeeper like Enyeama. I suspect Ikeme always feigns injuries when it suits him. Is he afraid of big countries? That was how he avoided the match against Egypt in Cairo.
I don't think so!!! Because he is not playing for Wolves at the moment and he also needed a surgery to correct a hip problem.

So he is definitely injured and not feigning it.
Sports › Re: Should Manchester United Sack Jose Mourinho Now? by khattab02: 2:36pm On Nov 04, 2016
Sack him now?? I think that will be very very unfair. Moyes was given 7 months or so, Van Gaal two years and Jose should be given 4 months? No way.

It is very unfortunate that Man United are already in pieces at this stage of the season. Too bad!!! But not many of the players are performing. He need results and quick results but I am most disappointed in most of the players.
Sports › Re: EFL Quarter-final Draws by khattab02(op):
Most of my verdicts in the last round came out. I predicted Arsenal, Newcastle, Hull, Liverpool and West Ham vs Chelsea to be a tricky tie.

Here are my verdicts for the Quarter-final....

Arsenal vs Southampton

I always fancy Arsenal when they play at the Emirate.
Verdict; Arsenal goes through with a little bit of stress and struggle because Southampton won't come Handy.

Liverpool vs Leeds

Liverpool are firm favourites even with out the draw having to be at Anfield.

Verdict; Liverpool to the semi.
