Kobojunkie: I believe what God says and God never tells us that.
God says you can eat anything you want. Leviticus 11 1-47 what not to eat, (pig, rabbit, camel, snakes and more). ISAIAH 66 15-17 not to eat.. mice DEUTERONOMY 14, 1-29 what to eat l, (ox, sheep, goat, deer, gazelle, roebuck, beef, antelope and more). MARK 7 15-22..Says whatever goes into a person cannot defile/harm him (untrue) since it enters the stomach and not the heart. Today we know that what a person eats can defile the heart, spiritually and definitely physically. |

Kobojunkie: Why pray before eating, ? Where you afraid the food contained poison or something?
Nowhere in God's commandment are you told of such a sin. God is not against anything you eat, neither is He against you celebrating and feasting with others.
Relax abeg and enjoy your food well well. Don't forget to ask for more so you can give someone who has none. If you believe in the scriptures they tell you what is good to eat and what is an abomination. |

TkhGuy: It's becoming norms that girls and women will have enough to solved their material needs but it doesn't feel right for them to do so but exploit men to solve their material needs which is the problems that mostly 95% women in the world today is craving for, so at last man is just regarded as the tool that produce money for women problems That's not always the case you're going on personal experiences. |

TkhGuy: He has a point but how many girls are footing their bills by themselves & still be loyal to the guy? The answer is near to zero cos it's same with trying to keep a woman who is financing her marriage not to cheat or be submissive to her man, is psychologically & genetically impossible. He and I are talking about a different culture I guess. The reality is nobody wants a selfish, stingy mate male or female, a real woman can provide for her own needs but it's comforting to know your man has your back in times of need. |

He said all 40 million black Americans were the same (ghetto, bad, ignorant, savages, who.res, uncouth, uncultured, uneducated, on welfare) and most of the posters on that thread foolishly supported his crap without ever leaving Nigeria or meeting a black American. Foolish people. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Six (6) Proofs Why Jehovah's Witnesses Don't Celebrate Easter. by khia: 8:27pm On Aug 01, 2020 |
chatinent: The Bible’s answer The celebration of Easter is not based on the Bible. If you look into its history, though, you will see the true meaning of Easter—it is a tradition based on ancient fertility rites. . Consider the following. . 1. Name: The Encyclopædia Britannica says: “The English name Easter is of uncertain origin; the Anglo-Saxon priest Venerable Bede in the 8th century derived it from the Anglo-Saxon spring goddess Eostre.” Others link it to Astarte, the Phoenician fertility goddess who had the Babylonian counterpart Ishtar. . 2. Hares, rabbits: These are symbols of fertility “handed down from the ancient ceremonial and symbolism of European and Middle Eastern pagan spring festivals.”—Encyclopædia Britannica. . 3. Eggs: According to Funk & Wagnalls Standard Dictionary of Folklore, Mythology and Legend, the hunt for Easter eggs, supposedly brought by the Easter rabbit, “is not mere child’s play, but the vestige of a fertility rite.” Some cultures believed that the decorated Easter egg “could magically bring happiness, prosperity, health, and protection.”—Traditional Festivals. . 4. New Easter outfit: “It was considered discourteous and therefore bad luck to greet the Scandinavian goddess of Spring, or Eastre, in anything but fresh garb.”—The Giant Book of Superstitions. . 5. Sunrise services: These have been linked to rites of ancient sun worshippers “performed at the vernal equinox welcoming the sun and its great power to bring new life to all growing things.”—Celebrations—The Complete Book of American Holidays. The American Book of Days well describes the origin of Easter: “ . Conclusion: There is no doubt that the Church in its early days adopted the old pagan customs and gave a Christian meaning to them.” The Bible warns against worshipping God by following traditions or customs that displease him. ( Mark 7:6- Second Corinthians 6:17 states: “‘Separate yourselves,’ says Jehovah, ‘and quit touching the unclean thing.’” Easter is a pagan holiday that those who want to please God will avoid. Christmas is also pagan, that's why I don't celebrate it. |

2buffagain: Not my concern what she does until I find out. Man is too busy for all that jobless stalking.
Also again, unfortunately, the Nigerian definition of girlfriend is "who you give money to". I don't roll like that. If a woman WANTS to be in my life in that way, she will be taking care of her own BILLS.
I don't consider going out to eat a bill. That's just me enjoying myself and she just being there to augment the experience as well. Same way I can choose to cover rounds for my guys when we roll out. Simping is paying for these girls hair, transportation, utility bills, rent etc. The only way she sees my money is when we are both enjoying it... And at that I will eventually start making her pay for some things too or some outings.
Also I wouldn't charge her gas money when I go visit her, so why will she charged me gas money when she comes to see me? That one na low mind. Such can never be my girlfriend. And even if she had such a tendency with other guys, she will know I'm not the one for all that.
The only woman I will "simp" for is the one I marry. One who actually pays her dues. Finally!!! Good one, proud of you.. |
