Truthfully, Tuchel's tactics does not favour his style of play but criticizing him openly is very unprofessional. |
That nigga is old and cunning, allow am rest. |
But how can a team have 77% ball possession and still struggle to score. PSG will continue losing for 77 years tueh! Na them cut my christmas bet. |
It's quite obvious that Peter still retained his loyalty to the Jewish religious law of an eye for an eye despite spending number of years listening to the teachings of Jesus christ. A lot must have gone through Peter's mind the night that Jesus was arrested. They were twelve gallant Jews mostly from the streets of Galilee. They could have taken on the Roman soldiers and it could have been a fair fight with a good chances of escape for them, but Jesus picked up the fallen ear of his assailant and magically restored it, then followed them to be crucified like a the lamb that he is. Peter must have wondered "what manner of man is this Jesus? he doesn't get angry" the only time I could recall Jesus angry was when he went to Jerusalem and found the temple crowded with traders and he was angry why they had turned his father's house to a market place. Every other time Jesus was paying taxes with a penny from the fish's mouth to the Jews, being nicer to Mary who listened to his teaching as opposed to Martha who busied herself preparing sumptuous meal for the lord Jesus who had visited, and so many good and cheerful things he did even at the point of death! I like to think that the Jewish religion is more human, direct and realistic which is true to the nature of man as opposed to the Christian religion. It is the nature of man to get angry or afraid when in an unpleasant situation. When faced with a threat, a man either stand to fight back or take a flight to stay alive, and yes, we got this nature of ours from God. Let me take you through what I understand to be the nature of God. When Saul was commanded to destroy the Amalekite and all that belonged to them, he disobeyed by looting the remains and God was angry with him which eventually cost him his kingdom but David who was lustful and even went as far as murdering someone's husband just to cover his tracks of adultery was forgiven! To even crown it all up, that same woman became the mother of the heir to the throne. David even earned the reputation of being the man after God's heart. Now David is the man that really appealed to the emotions of God, David practically had a romance with God, go read the book of Psalms to confirm this. What do you expect of a man who spent everyday of his young years in the wilderness alone with sheep and the vastness of nature at his disposal, He mastered the art of flattering God with sweets words. In the sweeter parlance, he knew how to tickle God's fancy, thus, he was able to get what he wanted from God. God couldn't help it but forgive him. From David's story, I learned that God is just as emotional as man, he gets angry, he gets happy, he can be flattered and can as well change his mind. However God, as much as being loving, kind and being subsceptible to woos, so many accounts were recorded when he got extremely angry and did disastrous things, even many of the Jewish prophets took after him, like Moses smashing the tablets he spent days to obtain when he met the Isrealite serving a graven image or was it Elisha when he commanded bears to devour the little children who made fun of him? Jesus taught us to shun things of the flesh and reverence the things of the spirit but here I am wondering, if God really made us in his image and likeness, then the flesh should be God like, we only need to be like David, that is, to have to ability to woo God to favour us regardless of our shortcomings because God has emotions like us and can be made to change his mind. Just wondering, what do you think? |
I have learnt not to Judge from a one sided story. People are skilled at reconstructing events to make them seem faultless. |
Are you a Christian? If yes then you are not deligent cos even Jesus advised us to act like kids If you are not a Christian then accept this and know peace "he is living his best life despite your opinion" yanabasee2: |

Danjikanbauchi:That is ur problem bro. I am not here to teach you what you can easily find with Google. |
JaroMan:The fact that he is even completing what the previous government started is commendable. How many governors continues what what the previous governor started in Nigeria? The reason for Lagos steady progress is this CONTINUITY. |
We are just trying to westernise everything in Africa. Leave religion aside first, what happens to our cultural heritage? |
Bankowner:If you can't get it, forget abarrit |
Tort, the civil wrong that is very easy to commit, and mostly unknowingly because it arise from our daily activities; "the next door neighbour played loud music all night, so I couldn't sleep, I lost concentration at work the following day, my boss fired me because of this" "I developed asthma because I have inhaled too much of soot on the atmosphere in Rivers State" "A girl died of snake bite because of poor plumbing" "A building collapsed and killed many because the Architect laid a poor foundation" "I found her fingernails in the soup, because of this I fell ill for days, I spent a lot for medicals" "I developed cancer because of the toxic gas which I was exposed to in the company I worked" "I developed high BP because of a long usage of piritin as prescribed by my pharmacy" the above are scenario where Tort was comitted. (if you want examples which might relate to your situation, consult me personally with a professional fee). If you can establish and prove tort, a compensation will offer a substantial consolation for that injury or grief which you may have suffered as a consequence of someone else's negligence/nuisance. It may fetch you a fortune. It is however unfortunately that we tolerate everything in this part of the world. |
a man came down to hold your legs doesn't seem like an attack to me. They went too far if they really beat him up. Jesus Christ experienced similar scenarios. |
Myer:Just so you know, Buhari's daughter failed the Nigerian law school on her first try |
Does that look on her face seem uncomfortable to you op? She was even smiling. Besides there was a barrier btw them |
dasparrow:Self hate you say? The fact that I love myself and feel superior about myself doesn't stop me from acknowledging that I am short. If I place myself in the delusion that I am tall then I will be like the broke man who stand before the mirror declaring that I am rich, a subtle reminder that I am dead broke. |
Some Africans like this OP called Khilardz suffer from self hate and inferiority complex and will do anything to absolve the whites of all blame while simultaneously placing all the blame on Africans but history proves that Europeans with the support of some Africans destroyed Africa and Africans and that is the gospel truth. Self hate you say? The fact that I love myself and feel superior about myself doesn't stop me from acknowledging that I am short. If I place myself in the delusion that I am tall then I will be like the broke man who stand before the mirror declaring that I am rich, a subtle reminder that I am dead broke. |
christejames:Mansa Musa built one of the earliest tertiary education but what did he achieve with it? |
christejames:And what have Africa achieved? What do you have to say about the greedy Africans who sold their kinsmen to slavery? What exactly did the western world copy from Africa? My brother, the western world was only smart enough to capitalise on our gullibility just as you are showing now |
Arda1000:The title itself explains the book I wouldn't want to waste my time with it, there are better books to read. But in all, you are entitled to your opinion. |
So I stumbled on a book titled "how Europe underdeveloped Africa" I am not interested in opening that book because it is filled with delusional "feel good" contents, I know this. We Africans love to find solace in anything that evade reality hence many people will find solace believing "Africa is the cradle of civilization" "Europeans stole our heritage" "they forced us into slavery" some even believe that Jesus Christ was a black man from Ethiopia! Africa is plagued with entitlement, greed, delusional mind blinkers and whatever negative you can think of. Ozymandias, the self acclaimed king of kings spent his whole life building the best pyramids and and statues of himself that rotted away in the wave of time, he swam so flamboyantly in his delusion, thinking that those were what make a man great. The greatest Pharaoh of Egypt was outsmarted by Alexander the Great who brought scholars to study the people, culture and creeds of Egypt, this movement would later result in the establishment of the biggest library at the time, hence the start of formal education in Egypt. Should we delve into the life of Mansa Musa who had so much gold in his possession that his gift of gold to the Egyptian lords was so great that the value of gold depreciated across the globe for more than ten years? He was a greedy man, the show off type. He managed to build one of the oldest universities in his country yet the number of literacy did not improved. I believed he had no idea what a learning institution was, he probably did it on the advise of his Islamic teachers because he was Muslim and his love for the religion prompted him to employ Islamic scholars to teach him about islam. being that as it may, his people spent their lives in penury, his cities where severely underdeveloped. Some say, when the British came into the city of Benin, they where surprised by how organised and developed the city was, they had street lamps, yeah street lamps (wonderful achievement) they failed to mention the barbaric rituals that ended the lives of innocent people. The Oba was god and everyone lived for him, married tons of wives, he only had to spend the night with some once in his lifetime because they were so many and they dare not cheat (I feel for the women). The oba was the god with potent charms that couldn't withstand the rifles of the white man. A god was imprisoned and sent on exile by mortal strangers. They stole artifact and so many things. These are normal things that happen in wars. In medieval Europe and even in the bible, it was all about the survival of the fittest, weaker territories where conquered, kings where killed or sent on exile, cities where massacred and looted. It was all about who was stronger or smarter. Learn to accept that all is fair in war. Many failed to realise that slave trade wasn't targeted at Africa, white men were being sold into slavery even long before they discovered Africa. Africa became a hub for slave trade when we started selling people in their thousands and for a meagre price, We had populations of obscure peasant tribes with no military defence, so it was easy for a stronger tribe to invade and sell them, who doesn't like a good business deal? The trader pounced on our generosity and made a fortune out of us. White men did not come to steal people away, we sold them! Some African leaders even rebelled against the abolition of slave trade as they were making a fortune from it. You are a big hypocrite if you are the type that make a fuss about western ways. You can't completely dispose western influence. If not for western education you would not be exposed enough to detest them. The language they introduced to us is our easiest way of communication today, we couldn't even develop our own style figures and letters, we had to adopt the western Alphabets to write our native languages! Africa is the most blessed continent in terms of natural resources which we have failed to harness because While others were thinking of how to venture into the seas and know what is on the other side or studying how the hawk is able to glide in the air, our ancestors were killing innocent twins, building pyramids for their burial, burning witches and doing all the unthinkable things. But we are yet to step out of our delusion when we spend our time finding out how Europe underdevelop Africa. |
You wanted it all along so you should accept it and move on. |
I won't deny the fact that most Nigerian music are not great lyrically but music mean much more than lyrics. Thumbs up to afrobeats for the good melodies. However I agree with him when he said that Nigerians don't like listening to the 20% music that are great, presumably those that are great lyrically, we tag such music as boring. |
The world is going digital, someone has to join the bandwagon... |
I can only imagine how this incident has dampen the image of this school, but they are partly to blame for their negligence in dealing with this matter. I strongly believe that those boys must have been perpetrating similar mischief in the school but their greed do not permit them to enforce discipline on them, they probably don't want to lose a few million bucks. |
Purchasing land anywhere close to a fast developing city like Port Harcourt will always be profitable in the long run. Amagwa is where most new land owners in PHC have pitched their tent due to the inflated price of land within the city. But ensure to employ a lawyer for thorough due diligence before buying. |
Website that will frustrate you. By the time they rectify the issue all houses would have been allocated. |
Na this kind people push bubu enter, they are here again, agents of backwardness |
After owing me for months without any sign of paying back, I simply ask nigga to borrow me some cash, when he requested for his cash I simply told him that we have equalised. |
I understand he wants more souls to be won but what he got wrong is that to a win soul doesn't necessarily translate to having them attend your church. |
