MTN is like PDP. Nothing good can come out of it. |
@angelo234. Nice to know you pay your intuition yourself. ![]() |

Jonathan is a liar,he can't even admit that the election was not free and fair.upon all those rigging in Iboland and Niger My brother, GEJ won the election but that does not make him relevant |
They only want to fool people into believing that they re responsible. Everyone will see how they will manipulate it. |
GEJ certainly won the 2011 presidential election. We all know the truth. However, the more painful truth is that his reason for entering office is simply to make promises, assurances and reassurances. |
The term 'socialism' is Utopian. It is a wishful imagination of man which lacks empirical standpoint since its supposed advantages are its inherent contradictions. Yes! A system of peace, crime-free, corruption-free and equality of men but which failed to survive even a century. When the Bolsheviks struck against Czarist Oprichnia in 1917 in a revolution that introduced socialism in Soviet Union, the world witnessed an alternative form of territorial human organisation. Many countries thought it was their chance; China (1949), East Germany (1945), Cuba (1959) and a host of other eastern Europe countries. All these fell like a pack of cards. The fact is that even Gorbachev came to agree that no matter how you raise the stake for equality, what you get is more inequality. He therefore initiated the demise of socialism by forcing the policies of 'perestroika' and 'glasnost' in the system. Socialism is planned, regulated, centralized and what have you. Such arrangement cannot bring out the best in the individuals and economic forces in the society. The point I am making is that capitalism as a system has fitted perfectly into the very nature of man and will stay forever. It is much better than socialism. |
Let Kano state govt move inside the barracks and destroy the booze there, if dem born dem well. |
Bankole is behind this move. Honourable members indeed! |
Na waoooh! No one even cares to know the names the man listed. |
There is no better way to measure correctly the contribution of each state to the nation. The monthly federal allocation to the states, instead of the other way round, has introduced a very big contradiction in the works of federalism. If not, the supposed resource-deficient states would have turned their lands to gold mines and the better rated states would have done even better. |
Please do not marry her because you dont love her. If you do love her, you would not have come up with this thread. Please leave her life alone so she 'll find a better husband since you are not meant for her. |
A muru m na lagos. E toro m na lagos. A na m asu Igbo nke oma. A na m ede asusu Igbo nke ukwuu. Unu atula ujo maka na asusu Igbo ga-adi ndu rue mgbe ebighi ebi. lol |
Who cares? If he likes, he should inhale anthrax. All I expect EFCC to have done is to force hot oil down his throat. |
It is counted unto this administration, sheer wickedness to remove fuel subsidy at this time. The masses which includes my humble self will really suffer. More than 100% increase of PMS: cost of transportation will highly increase, cost of food stuffs will skyrocket, house rents will increase, armed robbery will increase, corruption will increase, Naira will depreciate, inflation will rule, to mention but a few. What a country! |
Those against the call for equalization of states in the country via additional state for the SE should please be considerate. This is only a demand for fairness. Honestly speaking, no other zone in Nigeria can accept this marginalization. Why the SE? Is it part of the punishment for loosing the war? |
This is only a routine. Most Nigerian former governors have dutifully answered the EFCC's account settlement/re-settlement call. They always go there to negotiate with EFCC leadership on how much of their stolen funds they are willing to part with. After days, weeks of negotiation, the deal is sealed. It is this business process that gullible Nigerians see as arrest.. Arrest, indeed! |
Those northerners who claim that the activities of BH is not Islamic but still provide background support to the sect will have themselves to blame very soon. Their eyes will open to reality when they wake up one day to a divided Nigeria. |
@Smoothlips. Dude, I did not speak 'grammer' against you. oK? My take is that the pressing priorities of this country have been relegated to the background and less relevant issues have been elevated as heated discourse in the HOUSE. THE BILL WOULD NOT HAVE COME UP IN THE FIRST PLACE. No hard feelings. |
OMG! why cant someone just do me a great favour and throw in a bomb in the midst of these God-forsaken, law-making bastards? Those elements of misplaced priorities, egocentric idiots, unparalleled set of unisex animals and associated bane of the nation. NONESENSE! |
Na wa oo! Even in the midst of untold hardship that our so called leaders have plunged the masses into by sharing our collective resources among themselves with brazen impunity, someone is supporting the call for prayers. Sincerely speaking, what we owe our leaders are avalanche of curses and not prayers. Why didn't the masses of Tunisia, Egypt, Libya etc continue praying for their leaders? Chai! May God Almighty descend with undiluted fury on all our bad leaders. May all the stolen money in their different bank accounts be spent on their immediate interment. May they be inflicted with lordhosis, schirephosis and zinchlersis. Shameless leaders! |
Our dear president has perfected the mastery of empty promises, assurances and reassurances. He really take Nigerians as fools. It hurts. |
We are all aware that some northern elements are purposely unleashing terror in our polity for reasons they know better, mainly because they failed woefully to capture power. The general impression they want to create both locally and internationally is that GEJ's administration lacks the ability to secure the country and so he should resign in order for them or their accolades to come up to power. Based on this backdrop, we should not be so hard on the president especially on the issue of Boko Haram. This is because many high ranking personalities of northern background are linked to the terror group with their calculated network with our security personnel. If power is suddenly returned to the north today, no one will hear of Boko Haram again. |
In fact, I charge Dr Yemi Kale with underestimation. When he captures the right stat of unemployment in Nigeria, he will collapse in shock. |
Even though the stat lacks empirical evidence, it does not mean that unemployment level is not more than 60% |
Corruption cannot be stamped out by PDP because the fundamental ideology of the party is corruption. PDP controlled national assembly will never sign death penalty bill because they know they cannot stop corrupt practices and hence cannot kill themselves by themselves. Our PDP president is not only too weak to fight corruption, he is also part of it and hence will not like any can of worms to be opened. Recently the president was given a reminder by revisiting his wife's case with EFCC. My fellow compatriots, evidently, corruption which is our greatest impediment will remain with us as long as the leaders as we have them remain in power. Our best bet is to emulate our northern African brothers. |
Honestly speaking, If Yar Adua hadn't died, I strongly believe Nigeria would have been considerably transformed. Despite his sick health, he towed the line of a president who believes in institutions rather than individuals. He would have systematically fought corruption to the barest level. By now, the rule of law he subscribed to must have fully developed in operation. Alas! the cold fingers of death sniffed him off. Now, we have GEJ who, practically speaking, is the weaker version of any weakling president that ever was in the history of state system. He is just there because constitutionally, someone should be there. His empty smiling face, annoying speeches of assurances and reassurances and his purposeless sense of direction makes Yar Adua much more better. |
Honestly, am so much in the dark why there have been recently a spate of murder accusations and recriminations among the yorubas: Bola Ige and co. allegedly sold Abiola to death (Al Mustapa). Now, Bode George killed Funsho Williams(Bola Tinubu), plus lots more yet uncovered. Kinsman murder is really bad, I think. Does it really mean that naturally, this is not a brother-keeping tribe? |
It has summed up to sheer madness for a man to consistently and shamelessly open his mouth in the public and reel out empty words with the impression that he has been addressing fools. Who taught this man that leadership in Nigeria is all about mastering the art of promises, assurances and re-assurances? These days, It hurts to hear him make public addresses. |
PDP is not worth our discussion. They have been our problem from 1999 to present. |
GEJ can do better than that if FEAR lets him. |
