@CHYZ* Could you please give us a speculated time when you will grow up since you are still a mistaken dot on this site. Moreover, learn it from me that a single insult on an elder is generational. |
Long before the elections, I made it clear that nothing good can come out of PDP since it is designed to always fail the people. However, many electorates rather chose to vote for GEJ and not PDP. Now that the dice is cast, those who for FRESH AIR should start enjoying it instead of complaints. |
Certainly GEJ did not throw any bomb but he has the constitutional responsibility of protecting the masses. This he has not done and has not attempted to do since he runs the country on good luck. |
Our president has mastered the art of making promises. |
@ Kechukwu. What I am saying is that if some Northern big wigs are suspected to be responsible for all these, the president should ensure that a detailed investigation is carried out. Anybody found guilty should be prosecuted according to the constitution which the president represents. However, in this case, nothing relevant has been done at all and people are dying. Is that the way to lead a country? Doesn't GEJ know the power at his disposal? Why not use his power at least for the protection of the people that voted him into office? Why should he bury his head in the sand while the nation burns? He still have the option to resign. From every ramification, we have a weak president. |
Some people should understand that the reason GEJ is called upon is because he is at the helm of affairs and should honourably resign if he cannot provide the security of lives and property which he swore by the constitution to provide. During the last bomb blast at police headquarters, GEJ made a statement to suggest that Nigeria is not the first terrorist victim and that everyone should go about their normal businesses. As if the dead ones are mere fowls. There is practically no meaningful effort by the security agencies towards national security and the president takes the first blame in this regard because he has the option of resignation when his hands are tied in a given situation. We cannot continue to loose our loved ones in this manner. SOMEONE I KNOW VERY WELL HAS JUST DIED IN THIS BLAST AND IT HURTS SO DEEP. |
Am sincerely interested in this thread. Let's kick off. |

IBB, it will be just right for you to shut up. Don't you dare make me more annoyed than I am. |
Our dear president, which kind of president are you? What makes you think veritable change can be achieved with so much talk? Please stop all your mouth- diarrhea and face reality. The reality is that PDP, which you champion, has failed the nation. |
RIP, SOLDIER! |
This recent revelation is evidently a calculated strings of lies. These men are the highest species of cowards Nigeria has ever produced. 13 years of stupid silence is suddenly lifted simply because Mustapha made some statements. Shameless opportunists! |
It is very obvious. MTN is like PDP. Nothing good can come out of it. |
If Mustapha is not chemically assassinated before long, many revelations that will stun Nigerians will emanate. Amnesia injection could even be their last option. The fact is that a lot of big wigs in Nigeria have their asses on fire right now. However, his safety is the first step towards ensuring the opening of the mighty can of worms. God is at work, I believe. |
I hope those that voted GEJ and not PDP are all witness to this development. I also pray that GOD does not release HIS wrath on this country because of our clueless leaders. |
I hope the so called Islamic elites, who had hitherto sworn to the peaceful nature of Islam, heard this. Have your religious leaders put you to shame? LOL |
Sanusi has really unlocked the grid of banking galore in Nigeria. Since Nigerian indigenous constitution which opposes setting up banks along religious lines has capitulated under the Islamic ethos, and shamelessly endorsed by House of Reps members (the custodian of the constitution), many banks will surely spring up even under traditional religious lines. If care is not taken, the eventual disintegration of Nigeria is here. Watch it! |
Sanusi has really started something. A wise peep into the future clearly reveals the evil this policy will unleash into our fragile polity. |
I don't blame Taofik Gani at all. He is only a by-product of the world's most evil association called PDP. My brothers, this party is the problem of this country for more than a decade. It therefore beats my imagination why such agents of damnation should open their foul mouths to criticize ACN. The worst action of any political party in the world is much better than the best of PDP forever. |
I just hope this will not be like one of thousands of federal govt abandoned projects. We are all used to mouth-watering contract initiation in Nigeria which is always politicized and abandoned. |
All said and done, the Tag of Islamic banking in Nigeria is inappropriate at least for now. Those that are very desperate at copying hook, line and sinker what obtains in other climes should know that we have different historical, territorial organization. In the 1960 s, we aped parliamentary system of govt from Britain and it failed. In late 1970 s, we essayed presidential system of America and up till now, we cant get it right. As if that is not enough, some people are clamouring for a banking structure that have Islamic nomenclature just because it is practiced elsewhere. Quote me somebody. This move, if implemented, will further divide us along religious line. For those who see nothing wrong with it, I pray that they and their family members will not be affected by the violence this policy MUST entrench in our country. |
The best Muslims in Nigeria can do to dissociate from the tag of Boko Haram is to is to organize a peaceful demonstration against the tenets of the sect. Anything less than that is rubbish. After all, all these would not have been happening if Buhari had won. From every ramification, Islam is yet to prove to be peaceful. |
@ssaemoeni To be frank, I wonder why it is extremely difficult for the Nigerian masses who bear the pains of protracted bad leadership to rise up and change the ridiculous status quo just as it is currently done in other climes? PDP has over the years perfected the art of toying with the future of Nigerian youths and the best we can do is to perfect the art of media complaints while things get worse by the day. I hereby call on all the youths, including those who claim to have voted GEJ and PDP, to organise a peaceful massive protest against bad leadership, against LEGISLOOTERS and against incurable corruption. Nigerian masses are so depraved in a country so endowed. |
Boko Haramist! You guys disappoint me by hitting the wrong targets. Pls go for the NASS members. They are the best target in the world now. |
Nigeria rightly should go up higher on the list. Those who doubt this list should know that even the war-thorn Libya still enjoy constant power supply and many of their institutions still work optimally. OUR LEADERS HAVE FAILED US. Period! |
It is too late and shameful for all the misguided voters to claim that they voted GEJ and not PDP. Now it appears difficult for such people to separate the two elements. Evidently, the party has been a curse to Nigeria since 1999 and some people still went ahead to perpetuate PDP. Quote me. Nothing good can ever come out of a wrong template called PDP which GEJ is an integral part of. Our dear country is sick and needed a strong and focused leader who can rise above every dis tractor and propel the country to the next level not a lily-livered man. |
I hope our leaders are seeing the ripple effects of corruption. When our leaders made the decision to convert the common wealth of the nation into their private pockets with the highest sense of impunity, little did they know that the effect will be the unleash of untold insecurity by the depraved. This is a big warning to our God-forsaken leaders, " If you keep stealing our money and not making policies that will urgently improve the lot of the teeming suffering masses like provision of at least 90% employment opportunities and good governance at its best, something you do not know will hit you one day and total blackout follows. This is only the beginning of insecurity birth pangs". |
We all know that the thieves have the right to bail but I think the anger of some NLanders is that injustice in Nigeria starts from bail. If you are lucky to hear anything about them later, it will be that there is want of evidence or that this court or the other lacks jurisdiction. Remember that almost all the then 36 governors were declared corrupt by Ribadu-led EFCC. Was any of them jailed? The country has not yet changed. I can understand the anger of some people. May God help us. |
It really appears as if every Muslim leader in this country, in whatever capacity, enjoys coming up with violent-prone policy that must heat up the polity. Probably this is a way of expressing solidarity to a religion they have so close to their hearts. Probably, there is an injunction that all Muslim leaders must leave an indelible mark in the polity for posterity to see their level of dedication to Islam and then carry the spirit on. If not, why should Sanusi copy other countries that are not as polarized as Nigeria even at this period when Boko Haram is decimating our population? For those that see nothing wrong about it, I pray that the violence that may erupt as a result should not affect them or any member of their families. |
Baba you have not seen anything yet oo. Your criminal son's pound of flesh will soon be delivered to you in a cellophane bag. |
When I strongly suggested that state of emergency be slammed on all the trouble-prone northern states, some people called for my head and considered me grossly undemocratic. Now, I wonder why a government in 2011 should in the first place think of entering into negotiation with a God-forsaken sect whose mission statement is clearly to throw the nation in retrogression. I will cross my fingers and watch how their demands will be met by our dear cowering president. I will like to see the reaction of many northern elements (who secretly admire The Boko Haram sect) and whose children are currently enjoying the benefits of western education. I will like to see how the constitution of the federal republic will run in tandem with sharia laws in the (in due course) affected states. If the northerners are seeking secession in the guise of boko haram operations, secession is what they will get. In the mean time, a protracted state of emergency is the antidote to the Borno saga. |
