Hmmmmm,Senate President speaking through his special adviser on such sensitive matter ,with less than 4hours to commencement of the strike. ![]() |
Oluwaseun is your full name Seun. When world power changes and the ruling power choose to address a Late you as 'Thanks ','Chopknuckle 'or' 3Gbosa' in reference to nairaland .Does that change the fact that you are Oluwaseun or Seun as known to this present generation? Future name checkers will even refer to you as Mr Nagode ,the Hausa man whose name was manipulated over time to claim glory for your work. Be bold enough to argue your believe independently ,without peeping from somebody's underwear and be using wireless speaker to express your candid(my foot) opinion! |

Sentimental views excluded,I think one of the reasons why there are varying views about our players is their inconsistencies. From our last 10 matches ,how many of them average a rating of 7/10? Factors Responsible. 1)Lack of playing time in their respective teams/quality of league 2)Injury 3)Being played out of position. 4)Not fully understanding each others style of play e.g when Iwobi holds ball, striker should run into space. 5)Formation 6)The coach 7)Varying strength of opposition ,which will require digging deep e.g world cup opponents One major advantage we have now which has been missing over the years is the commitment, hence they will keep improving by understanding each other and winning matches. The varying views will reduce,as well as unnecessary comparison and we will all clamor for only sensible addition to the team. We are as good as through to AFCON and our performance there will be very crucial to how our football will progress. Finally ,this has been the best NFF we have had (my opinion ) in a very very very long while ,though they should support the female team more . |
I pray we select our best team with winning mentality. We need to inject fresh and talented legs into the team. Our players run out of steam in the 2nd half. Ghanaians are not smiling, they know hosting to win is their easiest route to winning their first ever women AFCON and they mean to do so. Cameroon is another worthy opponent they played an international friendly last month. It is not our birthright ,we must work hard to earn it. All the best to our darling team. |
Seychelles 0 - 0 South Africa- final score after 6mins extra time! Thank you Seychelles!!! |
Lol Naija goods and services are too cheap hence drop in quality of both. And any attempt to increase will make them unaffordable due to low purchasing power of the citizenry as a result of poor economic management of all our government from time immemorial. |
Idowu does not contribute anything to our attack when he is in a very good position to do so. |
They are yet to be interrogated by our embassy in Ghana ,and I am very certain that more than half will not be Nigerians. Liberians are more into prostitution in Ghana and it is quite shocking when none was arrested,so obviously they claimed to be Nigerians. Let's keep our fingers crossed ,however Ghana government will not comeback to say they are not Nigerians if investigations prove so ,they willing display negative news coming from Nigeria ,to justify their own inefficiency. |
So,so ,so happy for the U-17 victory. Over to Phase 2 Thanks for the update guys |
It has always been in existence ,but they just gave it a trending name. While technology was used to promote and popularize it mainly by victims of the practice and bloggers/paparazy Human selfish tendencies is on the increase,in marriage ,we seek divorce, now in baby partners, we seek multiple baby partners ,what next? We want to eat our cake and have it,the norm now is zero tolerance in relationships. You cannot partner or marry somebody and expect you life to be the same, that's when sacrifice comes in. My advise to people, the world is changing so fast, but don't allow someone else's well packaged failed trending life style to alter yours. That why we are given brain to identify and separate the shaft from the rice. Even King Solomon who tasted it all still categorized it under his ' Vanity upon vanity ,all is vanity' conclusion. A father received his salary and asked his 4 teenage children pressing things they wanted he will spend the salary on their need. 1st asked for new dresses, 2nd needed video games 3rd make up kit and Brazilian hair(slay queen in the making)4th i phone .The father too held something in his pocket. Few days latter ,the children came asking for school fees, projects fees, feeding allowances etc. Their father was furious saying they lied to him and misled him ,now he has to borrow to meet those real pressing needs. That's how the poverty race started in the family. Moral lesson: A sensible ,effective and efficient government will at all times avoid irrelevant recurrent expenditure It must always apply scale of preferences which is targeted at making life better for the citizenry both on short and long run. Rather than splashing cash around, investment that will bring economy of Scale should be the focus ,which will lead to growth and development in the economy not this myopic ,fraudulent and pretentious approach. It time we start addressing matters as they are and not from sentimental point of view. |
Just saw this on BBC social media reaction to Germany's loss. The world will lick your fingers when filled with honey ,if not you get this!

All these honorless bloggers. I have personally never seen Nigerian supporters painting chicken green white green for victory. What's even the relationship between: Super Eagle and painted Chicken RUBBISH MISINFORMATION |
Requesting not begging. And it is a standard practise worldwide. |
Our Super Eagles are like 2.2 grade students, they can score 40+% in some courses and 70+% in others varying per semester or just 55% -59% in other semesters. Their inconsistency is a dilemma for both pros and cons. They were not expected to qualify, but they did it with brilliance. The end result of friendlies have not been pleasant aside Argentina, but the problem is always the great/good 2nd half performance they display. They are like small touch of salt on the tongue ,you can't spit it neither can you swallow it. Any performance they produce at the world cup will not surprise me,and as a patriotic fan ,I hope for the best. 1 Eagle, and that's our SUPER EAGLE |
There has always been doubt over Iwobi's stamina, but today's match showed he has it ,moving from deep back to attacking midfielder's role with easy. This is the only logical explanation I can think of for playing him behind Mikel. |
Passion for and Commitment to Nigeria in front of English fans and on English soil.

A husband and wife who both run a company with their only son both applied for different contracts of the same value in a company, knowing only one will get the contract. Only the father was awarded the contract ,however the wife though qualified was denied because the company cannot award contracts to family members and she does not feel bad. However, the son goes crazy saying he prefers that the mother's contract was awarded knowing fully well that his parents don't cheat on each other in any way including financially. We will all agree that the boy is not being smart because: 1)_You can't change the company policy 2) the mother is not complaining 3) The money is still coming to the family Moral lesson : Let us support the players that have been selected because 1)Not all of them will make the list 2)You can't change FIFA rules on number of players eligible 3)They are all Nigerian footballers. 4) The glory or failure falls on the country 5)The dropped players can still prove themselves in the future ,since they are still young. I love reading this thread ,please keep up the good work, while we allow sleeping dog to continue sleeping. Kudos |
WWE Footballer-Ramos!!!

Hmmmmm, more was said about TITANIC!!! |
Manchester United's Tosin Kehinde has set his sights on playing for Nigeria and has already made moves to become a Super Eagle. The 19-year-old, an Under 23 squad player at United, was born in Lagos but raised in the UK and is eligible to play for both Nigeria and England. "Nigeria has always been a part of me. I was born there. My whole family are Nigerian. I come from a very strong Nigerian background so the influence has always been around me," Kehinde told BBC Sport. |
