What is wrong with Femi Adesina stating categoricall that the hospital bill of PMB is funded by the federal government? Why the tongue in cheek comment on this issue? Or is PMB no longer the President of Nigeria who is enritled to be so treated? Every thing is not politics.

I think football is now turning to something else. The way players are awarded the prestigious "world best award" is too bad.

World best award should be based on individual performances not that a world best would hide under the shadow of his teammates to shine.

It's obvious the next award favorite is Ronaldo, but how do you explain the fact that he doesn't have a better statistics ahead of Messi.

Messi created more chances, more take-on, more dribbles, more successful passes, more assists, more goals, more fouls on Messi but he's not the favorite coz of trophies won by Ronaldo. Mind you, trophies are collected efforts of team not a sole player.

The irony is that those asking him to leave on moral grounds do not realised the callousness of playing politics with Buhari's illness. Though I won't advise Buhari to run again, given his health condition and age, those making noise online should know that Buhari can comfortably beat any living politician in Nigeria.

Governor Obiano can afford that amount to buy nomination form. Why rout that money through these shadowy groups which spring up only on the approach of elections? Does anybody still hear about that youth group which Wike used to wreck havoc in Rivers State during the gubernatorial election in that state? It fizzled out just like that after the election and may spring up again during the next election.

Buhari made the dude popular. He was largely unknown before his incarceration. His broadcasts were listened to by a neglible number of people in the South East. Now, he has many followers, but mainly of some misguided and uninformed Igbo youths.

Power generation and distribution should be in the concurrent legislative list and not be a monopoly of the federal government which has failed in this regard anyways.

Why not? Late Ronald Reagan was a Hollywood star. He won the Presidential election in US. Ditto for Arnold Schwarzeneger who won a Governorship election in same US. He was also a Hollywood star. So, Yul Edochie can also make history as a Nollywood star who made it to government house. He needs to align with a political party though.
