Kanu campaigning for 2019. Correct guy man.
Is he no longer agitating for the actualization of Biafra? With independent candidacy soon to be made part of the Constitution, the dude might be actually campaigning for 2019 and his followers do not even know this. Yeah, you got a point there.

PoliticsRe: Restructuring: Senate Betrayed The APC - Atiku by Kiakia(m): 10:36am On Jul 28, 2017
aminulive:
Former vice president, Atiku Abubakar has weighed in on the recent rejection of the devolution of powers to states bill by the Senate in a series of constitutional amendments.

Atiku expressed shock at the decision of the Senate to block the passage of Bill No. 3 which would have led to the devolution of powers to states. In a statement made available to PoliticsNGR on Thursday, Abubakar complained about the lost opportunity to fulfil one of the APC's election promises which was to restructure the country.

The statement read;

“This blockage of the bill by an APC-led senate majority is a betrayal of our party’s pre-election promises. It was an important vote and I’m shocked by some so-called progressives’ visceral and cynical opposition to restructuring.

He expressed dissatisfaction over the "alleged reluctance of democratically elected lawmakers to remove the insidious structural impediments to development which decades of military rule had hoisted upon our nation."

He argued; "“Instead of building the foundations for a true federation, a small group of so-called progressive senators decided to stick with the new party line, pretending they didn’t know what restructuring was all about, and that even if they knew, it couldn’t be done.

I think this is disingenuous, and I think it is a sad day for our party. But I’m confident the APC will learn the right lesson from this self-inflicted defeat and remember the mission and mandate given to us by the people".

Atiku also advised Nigerian lawmakers to do what is right and not make decisions based on self-interest.

“Let me be clear: restructuring is no panacea to all our nation’s problems. But devolving resources and responsibilities from an overbearing, unresponsive, and ineffective Federal Government to the states is the first step we must make if we are serious about putting our nation back on track, and our people back to work,”

Devolution of power to the States is a misnomer at this time and was rightly reected by the National Assembly. What have the so called state governors done with the power they already have? Nonsense!
PoliticsRe: 2019: Fear Grips Politicians Over Buhari’s Health – NewTelegraphOnline by Kiakia(m): 10:18am On Jul 28, 2017
Speculation by the 'source'! Even if Buhari returns today, he will be of no use to Nigerians as he is too incapacitated to continue in office. Therefore, his return is of no moment and insignificant in the circumstance. As a matter of fact, it means nothing to the suffering masses of this country. Buhari should resign honourably on health grounds. Nigerians will understand if he eventually decides to toe this path.
EducationRe: Why Olusegun Kayode Bello Was Expelled From The Nigerian Law School - Management by Kiakia(m): 9:27am On Jul 28, 2017
saintandsinnerz:
Can just stop with this your wack judgement already! So, you're already condemning him based on what the NLS said about him? Have you heard his own side of the story? From the story, it is already clear that the NLS is negatively biased against him and they manifested it in their action. Ask yourself if they would have expelled another student based on the flimsy excuse of having a petty altercation with another student. Not judging anybody but I think the guy was not treated fairly and that is my major concern.
Your opinion though. I have read his own side of the story. I have also read the Press Statement issued by the management of NLS. After reading both, I came to the conclusion that the Kayode Bello was as guilty as hell and was rightly and properly expelled from the law school. Deal with it!

Am I the only person who cannot see a concrete case against this Bello fellow ?
Seems to me like the law school authorities are just making things up as they go along and looking for all sorts of reasons to punish the guy: he took someone's seat, he printed t-shirts in protest, he refused to answer queries, he had problems in his undergrad years, his principal sacked him bla bla bla.
The sum of their arguments seems to be against his non-conformism.
What is his main and concrete offence ?
In other words, NLS expelled him for expelling sake? How many students have the school expelled in recent years? Na wa oooo!

Someone said, "all because of a seat"?

It wasn't because of the seat. I think mr Bello's 'village people' were trailing him.

I will partly blame the dude for not knowing when to lay low. He was on probation, a wise person would've avoided and withdrawn from any argument or scruffle that would've thrown the spotlight on him.

The law school claim that they had enough facilities (chairs) is nonsense. They showed bias in this case against the person of Bello. They were just waiting for any excuse to throw him out.

That lady should have taken another seat with all the empty seats there as claimed by the law school. What was so special about that particular seat?

They weren't fair on him but he should have avoided that situation.
As rightly stated by the school management, there are enough seats in the lecture hall to accomodate all students. I should know. Can you imagine? The rabble rouser left his seat at the back row and went to occupy the lady's seat which he thought was reserved for her and even when told that the lady only went out momentarily to ease herself, the thick-headed boy refused to vacate ther seat. Such tom-foolery! He got what he rightly deserved.

I am ashamed if this is coming from a school that trains our lawyers. It is a case of victimization. Why will u give a warning letter when he hasnt committed any crime? All his crimes were done in the university environment. If the university deemed it fit to have allowed him to graduate and did all his clearance, why would the law school bring up the issue again? Why declare him already guilty in the law school when he hasnt been accused of any crime within the law school? His actions were predicated by the actions of the law school.
Did you read the post at all? If you did, did you come across a line where the law school decided to admit him despite the negative report against him and even made sign an undertaking to be of good behaviour which he serially violated? Has it occured to you that the said Bello might be a nut case? Is this the type of person that you think is proper to be admitted to the Nigerian Bar? Do you even know the standard set for any aspirant to the legal profession? In view of the statement released by the management of NLS, do you think that this Bello is a fit and proper person for the Bar? Pls, always digest and comprehend a post before rushing to comment. The Bello boy was rightly expelled from the Nigerian Law School in the circumstane of the case built against him.

London is home to Buhari. Nigeria is a foreign country which he visits once in a while. As a so called President, Buhari has stayed more days in UK and less in Nigeria, a country he is supposed to be governing!
PoliticsRe: I Was Shocked When I Saw President Buhari In London- Rochas Okorocha by Kiakia(m): 8:36am On Jul 26, 2017
"He was at home relaxing and having as good time" - Okorocha. Nigerians have indeed been taken for a ride. So, London is President Buhari's home and not Nigeria. It is now certain that Nigeria have no President. What we have is a visiting President.

Which government in the world waits for three months to swear in Ministers confirmed by their upper legislative chamber? Only in Nigeria! The country is really on auto pilot.

Unfortunately, Fayose has no pictures to release. Just an empty threat. The Prof. already knows this and thus had no reason to attack him on that score.

PoliticsRe: Sagay Blasts Fayose: He Is An Irresponsible Clown, An Embarrassment To Nigeria by Kiakia(m): 5:14pm On Jul 25, 2017
Is there ever a responsible clown? A clown, by his mode of behaviour, is already irresponsible. So, Fayose does not need to be a clown to be irresponsible. He is already an irresponsible governor.

The glib lying governor will not escape the gulag after completing his tenure. That man has destroyed Imo State, and more particularly Owerri where the delusional governor has destroyed all the landmarks that makes the town tick and replaced them with inferior, below par structures! A mad man he is. The state have never had it so bad since the days of the late Sam Mbakwe. Okorocha's corrupt tendencies and land grabbing inclination knows no bound. For once, a fraudster bestrode Imo State.

PoliticsRe: What Amaechi Told Me About APC Leaders Emergency Meeting With Buhari-Dele Momodu by Kiakia(m): 6:05pm On Jul 24, 2017
Let Amaechi confirm the authenticity of the visit himself. That Dele Momodu had a video call with him does not mean that Amaechi was in London at the time of the call. He could as well have been in Abuja. Nigerians have learnt not to believe anything that comes out of the mouth of officials and aides of this roguish goverment.
PoliticsRe: Buhari’s Photo With APC Governors In London Is Old And Fake – FFK by Kiakia(m): 5:45pm On Jul 24, 2017
FFK contradicted himself in this write up. In one breath, he did not believe that the APC governors visited Buhari in London. In another breath, he wrote that the President was just sitting there moronely with the governors like a stuffed manequin who does not know what is happening or even aware of his surroundings. Are we then to assume that FFK believes that the said governors went to London and interacted with a zombie President who contributed nothing to the discussion? FFK should endeavour to make sense when writing on issues of this nature and not babble with words dripping with bile.

Obasanjo is an old fool , so he means God used him Obasanjo to loot and destroy our nascent democracy ? If not for tribalism that keeps protecting this man he should be in jail for carrying out the most brazen loot of our economy with his cronies which saw them steal over 16 billion dollars from the power sector alone without any result to show for it , Obasanjo should also take credit for derailing our nascent democracy then by making in it into the expensive and corrupt democracy in the world all because of his greed for power ..The truth is that Trump is 5 million times a greater man than you Obasanjo ever was and has proven himself a winner from private business to Hollywood and now Politics where America is on a steady growth under his able and competent leadership.
Trump knows what he is doing and where he is going. Obasanjo's ill-intentioned comments are worthless and of no moment. They go to no issue.

Yeah. You got a point there. No party may be able to unseat Obiano at this time. The governor has done well so far and the people of his state are happy with him, I guess.
