ACCEPTABLE? I'm I seeing correctly? Like it's okay to use the cousin to claim sibling point?

Hello pls, I am filling my form upon accepting the ITA. I have been asked to fill in the education details. Do I put in only the certificates i evaluated with WES (post grad diploma and msc) or everything(bsc, post grad diploma and msc)? Thank you

The idea is to KISS (Keep it Simple and Straightforward) no need to add any certificate that was not evaluated by wes. I'm surprised to see you evaluated your post grad( you probably had your reasons). If you didn't evaluate your bsc don't add it...

Good morning guys, I just noticed that the year of graduation on my WES evaluation (2013)is different from what was written on my certificate (2014). Is this normal? Which do I use for my application?

It is normal, I would say go with the one on your certificate...

Pls house,I will love to know d courses to take in order to boost my grade and an undergraduate in national open university but my husband had just bsc for now
Pls courses to do abeg

As an undergraduate your grades do not matter, just graduate and send in your transcripts...while you are at it you can enrol for courses like Ciin, Cipm, cima, acca, bcs, Nactem etc. to boost your chances.
Your husband just has his Bsc which is not sufficient, advise him to enrol for any of the courses I mentioned above...Kindly take a stroll down to page 1 and research intensively.
May the odds be in your favour.

Hello Everyone - What is the best way to show proof of funds for express entry? especially when one is trying to avoid huge sum of money showin gon the account statement.

Fixed deposit?
Gift deed?

I appreciate anyones advise. Thanks

It has been said over and over again...
A gift deed is what most people use to show/explain proof of funds.
You can either Keep the money in fixed deposit, Treasury Bills, Mutual funds etc...the choice is yours..
Kindly go to page 1 and research intensively on POF & read peoples PPR stories..
Good luck.

sorry to ask but I have some question I need answers to. Got the ppr mail yesterday sorry I haven’t given my write up yet. These are my questions don’t know who can assist me.
Did medical upfront medicals on 25 sept 2019 and also my ielts I used was done on 25 oct 2018. Went through MPNP route. So I’m a little confused as to what to do now because I’ve been given 15 days to send passport to VHs and with what’s going on now I don’t know how possible that is. Please if you are or have any experience like this please reply me

First things first, Kindly edit your post, you don't have to quote the whole story...

Hello everyone cheesy

I am new to the canada hustle but I have read the first 30 pages of this thread.

I am currently in my mid 20s with a BSc and planning to use my CIPM as my 2nd degree. I also have 3 years of work experience (NYSC included)

My target score in IELTS is 8,8,7,7 in LSWR and I also want to take TEF Canada to boost my score.

Would you advise I take the French exam first before IELTS? I am also worried about processing my transcript because it takes like 3-6 months in my school

Hi there, you shouldn't be worried about your school taking 3-6months, you should start now, while your transcripts is in process, you can start practicing for ielts and aim to max out...
A total crs score of 474 can get you ITA in due time, since age is on your side. In my opinion no need for TEF..
Feel free to read page 1 extensively.
Good luck.

Thanks for the feedback. My tertiary education path was diplomas - advanced diploma - postgraduate diploma - masters degree. I believe it is recommended I submit the postgraduate & the masters for ECA as I do not have a bachelors.
Which of the 2 (IQAS or WES) do you think it's better to send to?
If you studied law you should send your credentials to IQAS, if not just send your Masters to WES...

Hello, here. How are you guys doing?

Please, I have a couple of questions to ask and would love someone to answer and point me to the right direction. Thanks!

Someone in my family is a licensed pharmacist. Since she graduated, she has been working for diverse NGOs around the country. Now, I'm thinking of processing Canada Federal Skilled Program for her. Where do I start? How much would the whole process take? My budget is 2-3 million. Would that be sufficient? She’s under 30.
Thanks, and I’ll be expecting a reply.
Ahn ahn, Aunty/Uncle fear God, 2-3 million, yet you are asking for help on how to start? It is well o

Just received my PPR.. Wow! I'm still surprised as I called IRCC just yesterday and was told my eligibility was recommended pass while my security had not been started. My AOR was on March 12 and due date Sept 12. I was thinking the Covid would have delayed the application.

I'm so grateful to God and to every single person here on Nairaland. And to all the mods who helped create fantastic page 1. That was all I read and that was what helped me submit a good application.

Thank you Nairaland.

Guys I have another question pls, I’m considering CIIN, Wes has my undergraduate transcripts with them but I haven’t made payment yet. Is it possible to apply for CIIN then afterwards send it to Wes and make payment? Will they accept to use 1 payment for both my bsc and CIIN considering the fact that I sent them months apart! This is urgent pls and important
Ps: I’m yet to apply for CIIN and I haven’t paid for Wes
yes dear you can add your ciin certificate and pay later
My Bachelor's degree transcripts was with wes for 1 year and 8months cool before I sent them a message to add my 2nd certificate after they added it. then I paid.(only paid $207)no extra cost
So your undergraduate transcript can be with wes for as long as it can..let it gather dust sef. when you're ready to pay they will answer you. cheesy

Fixed deposit with a microfinance bank
You mean you just gave them fixed deposit without showing a single source of how the money came about...e reach for them to ask for all your bank statement. Chaleeee....
Best thing to do is tell the customer representative or look for your account officer, they can send you the pdf copy of your account Statement. Good luck

Good morning guys, please I really need y’alls advice. I’m about to start out on my canadian journey but given the present status of things, my score is at 430 -440 and I think that’s low compared to what’s obtainable now. My plan is to get an additional degree, study hard for d highest band in ielts and my score will be at 470 but that’d be a year from now as I intend to do a pgd...

My question is, should I just go ahead and enter d pool now and hope for a provincial nomination as an administrative assistant

Can my husband and I open two separate EE profiles hoping for provincial nomination on either of them. He’s an Engineer.

Or should we just wait till next year when scores will be higher. Please please advice . Thank you
If you have your Eca(1st degree) and ielts, you should be in pool. You can always update when you've gotten your desired scores & 2nd degree. You never know what province would pick you.
