Please I want to ask, if WES can assess PDE(Professional Diploma in Education) as 2nd certificate. I already have B.Tech as 1st degree, so am thinking of using PDE as 2nd certificate under the requirement of ECA (two or more certificate, degree or diploma).

Pls I wnt sm informed advice with regards to ECA using WES
1. Does WES accept statement of result in place of Certificate?. I intend to evaluate my Master's degree..my transcript is ready n can be sent to them by my schl 4 verification, but am yet to collect d certificate because it's not ready yet.wht I hv now is d stmt of result. SOR is fine...

2. I intend to evaluate only my Master's but while filling d online form 4 reg on WES, there's a pop up notificatn compelling master degree holders to also evaluate their B.sc. Can I ignore this? And if I do would there be implications? Or shld I just adhere to d instructions n evaluate both B.sc n M.sc. Evaluating just your M.Sc is fine

Hi everyone

I am in a dilemma.
I was about to submit my application last week Friday but my card was having issues. It has been resolved.
My application has a letter of explanation since I couldnt take my medical examinations.
On Saturday, I got a message that I can take my medicals next week.
Do I wait till next week after my medicals to submit my application or should I submit it with the LOE. I have gotten my bank statements, proof of funds, etc dated 30 April. will there be any issues if I submit on the 11th of May when most of my documents are carrying April dates or do I wait till medicals next week and get new reference letters and bank statements from the bank.

Your advice will be appreciated.

Now Medicals started today . Upfront Medicals has been reopened and I just booked a date with Qlife HOWEVER someone said if you have submitted application we can’t do upfront Medicals again . That we have to wait for VO to send us medical request letter in our CIC message inbox . Please how 100 percent correct is this information that isn’t true go ahead and do your upfront medicals and raise a webform and attach your medical slips to it

Also, regarding proof of funds; can I get my family to transfer funds to me when I know it's certain to enter the pool based on my points.

Is Canada not begging USA for face masks? It's not every time you condemn Nigeria's Government because discerning minds know that Governments across the world are currently hoarding medical equipment including ventilators. The Nigerian Government may have money to buy ventilators but no country is willing to export such products at the moment. So until Nigeria starts producing their own ventilators, let the Government beg any individual who is willing give it out. At least Elon Musk didn't complain!

I registered for my second ielts and I did the speaking test on the 19 but unfortunately the main papers for 21st was cancelled. Right now I am in the pool with 462.. I am wondering if the suspension will crash down the crs score or i should just hold till the resume which I don't know when

Wednesday's skipped draw really hit me in the chest . ECA came in on the 6th (after 4 months) and I dove into the pool on the 7th. All supporting docs were already merged and waiting to be uploaded. Walahi I was so excited, I don't think I slept properly in the week leading up to the expected draw. I just went through the motions at work on Thursday and Friday (good thing we're writing exams... There's nothing worse than a dejected Maths teacher!). I just kept thinking "If COVID-19 leads to a change in EE, shey CRS of 481 go just waste niyen??"
I'm better today sha. My fellow Canadians-in-diaspora, let's stay strong and hope for the best. It will end in praise.

Is TBills certificate and bank letter enough proof? NO IT IS NOT, YOU NEED TO SHOW PROOF OF MONEY, e.g. GIFT DEED, BANK STATEMENTS

A friend of mine has CIPM certification (Associate) plus B.Sc. Should she select "two or more certificates, diplomas or degrees" under educational qualification and send both to WES for evaluation? YES & YES

In other word, Would WES evaluate CIPM certification and what level of education does it qualify for in calculating CRS score? Yet again, WES would evaluate and it would qualify as 2 or more certs....

Is LinkedIn compulsory or necessary? - Because I don't have my profile updated or even used it since I created it long ago.

It is not necessary, so far the information on your linkedin profile and your info with ircc is not conflicting... if not remove it

So after all the struggle of getting ITA, submitting application, the emotionally draining experience of waiting for PPR/COPR, the joy of that followed after all came through (that feeling of achievement and satisfaction), the booking of flight and then realising that there is life after all of this and that going to Canada is just a means to an end
