cochtrane: Wow! Just wow! Remarkable. Congrats. You showed that perseverance pays. Only very few people could have achieved this. Time to start focusing on jobs, resume, settling in, shaping your career in a new country.
I actually think one thing that worked well for you was just staying in the pool. Many people underestimate the enormous advantage of staying in the pool, regardless of one's score or one's plans. Boss… I hail… thank you so much |

kiari: At long last… ITA RECEIVED 🎉💃🏽 It’s been a long time coming 😭 It’s PPR O’clock 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦💃🏽💃🏽💃🏽 A journey that started in 2018, getting first hand information from this goldmine of a platform, I am forever grateful. 🥹 Timeline…2018 My friend told me about this the Canadian express entry program after she relocated via study route. Joined Nairaland and the trajectory of my life changed. It was all I could think of, I digested the infamous page 1 very well. Next things was to evaluate my bachelors degree and write ielts. Scores were in the 440’s. I sent my transcripts to WES within paying (lol), scores gradually increased to 450s and I knew I needed a second degree. 2019The hunt for a second degree started, registered for CIMA and after 2 exams I knew I could not handle it, next was Noun PGD, in-fact that school eehn, I regret it till now (story for another day), finally I went for UNILAG HRDC, and I started my 6months degree program (Jun-Dec) I also wrote my first Ielts and I did not get my desired results 💔anyways we move… Wrote my final exams and we had to wait for results to come out the following year. 2020With high hopes that I would get my results by January,UNILAG Senate said hold my beer 😥, by March 2020 results were out and immediately added it to my Wes application with my bachelors degree that has be gathering dust since 2018, I paid and BOOM 💥 COVID HAPPENED. We all know how that period, Omo everywhere shut down. Fast forward to June, WES received my unilag transcript and my evaluation came out. Wrote ielts for the 2nd time and I had a L8.5,R8.5,S8,W6.5, I wanted to faint, sent it for a remark and it came back unchanged. Picked up the courage and wrote it for the 3rd time this time I had L8.5 R7.5,S9,W7. I jumped into the pool with a CRS score of 468. I waited patiently and watched the scores go down with every draw that happened. December 2020 the final draw of the year and the score was 468, I danced and rejoiced, only for me to find out I was affected by tie-breaking rule 💔 Damn, moving on… 2021The Long pause… No Fsw draws😭, tried everything to also get Oinp, MPNP, Nbpnp, Alberta pnp, none was forthcoming. 2022The long pause continues… 2nd and 3rd ielts expired. I started looking into study visa (Uk, & Canada) applied and got rejected (Premium tears). Took my L in peace and moved on. Draws resumed but the scores were so high, chaii… I started French lessons and gave myself 1 year to write the exam. 2023French lesson continued, also registered for my MBA classes, wrote 5th ielts, anything to get the extra points. While all these were happening & months passing by, the wave of bill c-19 news were spreading, ircc would invite candidates based on specific Noc, I told myself this might be it o, I have to align myself, I must have my ITA this year. Eventually the list of Noc’s came out and I created a new profile, lo and behold on the 20th of September the Cbd Transport draw favored me. Oh I cried 😭 I danced, rolled on the floor, jumped, screamed. What a glorious moment. I submitted my application in October and the wait begins!!! 2024While others were getting Bil/Mil/MEP in 2-4weeks, it took ircc 90 days to send mine, hmmm okay o but hey, if it took me 5 years to get ITA what is 90 days ehhn? The character development one will experience in this journey is real. After biometrics has been linked and MEP on gckey, now I wait for ppr. Oh the crippling anxiety, I kept thinking about different things, from ADR to Pof top up because of exchange rate, review required… ha God Abeg ooo. I told myself once my application gets to 4th month I would call ircc to know the update, little did I know that my ppr is close by. I got the infamous “Do not reply email” on the 5th and oh boyyyy, the way my heart kept beating twice as fast… I finally opened my account and I saw my PPR letter sitting pretty. Wow FINALLY I HAVE MY EVIDENCE. My very own ppr, all the years of hustling, hard-work, dedication and commitment to this journey, it has FINALLY ENDED IN PRAISE FOR ME. If you are on this journey, I want to encourage you to keep your head high, put in the hard work, and it will definitely come true. It may seem like there’s no way out, but once there is a will there’s a way. I want to say thank you to Zandora for creating this beautiful gold mine of a thread the OG, where it all started, now everyone has moved to Telegram & WhatsApp, lol… Stay tuned for my Landing Gist… Here’s my TimelineITA - 20th September 2023 AOR - 9th October 2023 MEP- 8th January 2024 UCI changed - 8th January 2024 BIL - 8th January 2024 Old Biometrics linked - 8th January 2024 Biometrics Done - 9th January 2024 GU 1 - 9th January 2024 GU 2 - 1st February 2024 FD/PPR Letter - 5th February 2024 |

It keeps complaining about the UCI number. Please can anyone who has experienced this tell me how he/she solved this issue. Thanks You can’t create a tracker until your UCI changes to just numbers. Wait until it changes |

TomatoSauce1: Please I need help with my NOC, I got ITA last month. I work as a healthcare Assistant in the UK, so I chose 33102- Nurse Aide as My primary NOC. But I came across another one that seems similar, 44101. I want to be super sure I have the right NOC before submitting my application. Can anyone help? 33102 is best, and it will get you ITA, if IRCC does a Category Based Draw -Healthcare. |

I then received anotherletter 2 weeks after stating that i have not submitted and i have been given 30 days to submit or a decision will be made . Is there some other way i should have submitted it ? I did the family biometrics price for 2 . Please if anyone knows what should be done , please guide me . Thanks Hi there, have tried uploading through webform? If not try that option. Give ircc a call too if you can. |

I have checked online and I’ve found conflicting information. Pls help thank you No you don’t need a transit visa. Check PPR stories on the Canadian student thread, most people go through Amsterdam or Paris. |

tannystacey: Primary means main Noc.. It can only be 1. And that should be the one you have more experience in. No, your NOC either primary or secondary has to be a minimum of one year. IRCC did not say your primary noc must have more experience. Just make sure your overall work experience has to be 3 years or more.
My primary noc was for a role i left a year ago and even though I'm no longer in the role, the Noc is where i had over 6 years experience..
Whatever you put as primary noc you must have all the needed supporting documents to support your application. As long as the NOC is on the eligible skills list, it should be fine, provided you are in FSW stream. If it's pnp you have to stick to the NOC you were invited for.
Too risky tho, to bw changing this like primary noc post ITA.. |

dvdami: I have read the recent discussions on this thread about WES evaluation.
I would like to ask for your best advise on which of my academic certificates to evaluate.
I have ND, HND and B.Tech.
ND - 2004 to 2006 HND - 2007 - 2009 B.Tech (HND to B.Tech conversion through Jamb DE) - 2017 - 2019
The B.Tech was for 2 calendar years but 3 academic years were done within that period (300L to 500L)
Considering the timeline of the certificates, which combination should I evaluate with WES that will give me the highest CRS score possible for me? Either you evaluate just your ND & HND or Evaluate everything, the cost is the same regardless with WES. This will give you “two or more certificates”. |

HouseRavenclaw: Hello,
You do NOT need a relative in Regina-Wascana to check on your application for you. You don't even need a relative at all. My school is in the Ontario province but my application has been checked on by the MP office of Montréal multiple times since its inception.
What you need is a friend or relative in Canada - periodt. They will provide their postal code or address, and you'll create an email on their behalf requesting for an update on your application. Bear in mind that you will be writing the email as them, not yourself. MP offices only prioritize requests of members of their constituents.
As an example, if your friend is named "John Doe", the email will be something like,
"Dear Mr/Mrs so and so,
I'm John Doe, a resident of so and so reaching out on behalf of my friend (your name) who has a study permit application that has exceeded the average processing time. My address is so and so and I'll appreciate an enquiry forwarded to IRCC regarding their application status or possible expedition."
Conclusively, be sure to remind your friend to "cc" your email address so the MP office can see the applicant in question. After the initial email, you can begin responding directly to the MP office since the line of communication has been opened. You'll be sent a Use of Representative form and within 10-15 business days, you'll get an assured response from IRCC. Hi please can you help me with the MP address? I sent you an email too. Thank you |

ProblemChild1: You should also work on your attitude so that you can go far. I asked a simple question. If you don’t have anything to say then keep quiet. Isn’t that what people did because they had no answer to your question Keeping quiet Your question wasn’t straight forward enough. Why would need your certificate to be accepted? What happened to your Bachelors degree? Or Hnd as the case may be. |

Onyeara: NB the guy actually applied since 19th of may 2022, medial done 20th of July. Application was 12 week by yesterday, two webform sent for medicals with email. Yesterday webform telling IRCC the application is now 12 week was sent. Presently , medical not processed, eligibility not yet started, why should he not get worried. Which time had he to book flight, find accomodations and travel That is the his main concern In the same position… I applied May 15th to resume September. Criminality and Medicals passed, Eligibility yet to start. My prayer is that my PPR comes before September 6th, if not the next step is to defer before resumption (6th), to the next available intake. When visa comes maybe after September you or your friend have to wait till 2023 before you travel, unless you have someone in Canada that can house you and feed you till September 2023 then you have no problem traveling when your visa application is approved. |
