That’s why it would have been better government leave one generation to another so that fresh ideas can be injected into the system. No State in Nigeria is actually working.

Some states like Delta and Anambra, with learned politicians are working. Imo state except Owerri is as good as dead.

Most of the instruments like portable water supply and tertiary education institutions that engender development where provided, are evenly provided in Anambra and Delta states.

But in Imo state, poorly educated politicians, worse, Rochas Okorocha, coupled with primitive greed in Owerri zone, make all instruments of development cluster only in Owerri zone.


The Orlu and Okigwe zones of Imo state remain in near dark ages.

For example, new gov is building new 1000 housing units in Owerri. Nothing to make life worth living in Okigwe or Orlu.

Consider that last month's Federal Fire Training institution for the Southeast which should have been located anywhere in Imo state outside congested Owerri, but these Owerri people also cornered it to Owerri, in addition to all 7 tertiary education institutions of govt in Imo state cornered to Owerri.
It's like madness in Imo state where people of one zone absolutely refuse to consider anything for development of the other two zones. A most primitive type of GREED.

Owerri people fought every governor of Imo state from Udenwa to Ohakim to Okorocha who tried to remove Imo state university from Owerri to any of the other two zones that have nothing.

Fashola has led the three most important departments of infrastructural development of Nigeria for about four-and-half years.

No electricity, no housing, no good roads.

Days after Minister of Agriculture says N30 can feed a person in Kano, Nigerian man goes to a canteen in Kano to eat and pays N30. He was almost beaten.

Few days ago, the Minister of Agriculture, Muhammad Sabo Nanono, said that there is no hunger in Nigeria and that food is so cheap in Nigeria that with N30, one can eat to his or her satisfaction in a canteen in a state like Kano.

Well, a Nigerian man took his word for it and went to a canteen in Kano state this morning, ordered for so much, ate to his satisfaction and paid the food vendor N30. He told the food vendor that the Honorable Minister said with N30, he can eat to his satisfaction.

He was lucky to leave the place without an injury as the food vendor and his friends almost beat him up.
