LATE POST ELECTION LIFE LESSONS!

OPINION: Why Azimio candidate Raila Odinga lost the presidency
[url][https://www.standardmedia.co.ke/opinion/article/2001455563/opinion-why-azimio-lost-the-presidency/url]

Boniface has always been a professional activist and is surprisingly honest hit for some vestigial self serving "explanations."

would like to go on record stating that Azimio's overconfidence and grossly underestimating our opponent cost us the presidential election

After that adult mea culpa he defaults to the Kenyan election loser mantra:

We failed to do the hard work of strategizing, organizing, and mobilizing our base to come out and vote, especially in our strongholds. We failed to protect our agents from the temptation of easy bribes from our opponents. We allowed them to be compromised at the polling stations. We also failed to protect our votes because we had too much faith that the IEBC would conduct a credible, free and fair election.

REALLY,NIGGA! I swear the IEBC is blamed for EVERYTHING! You'll hear they're responsible for drought,ED, diarrhea and secretly working with the CRB to harass hardworking Kenyans.

Bet Comedy Gold!

Misleading information

After Election Day, and while with Karua, we received a phone call (while vote tallying was still ongoing) letting us know we had won. The person who called us is very prominent in Kenya.
LoL. LOL. LOLLEST!

HAHAHA!

Overconfidence or immaturity?

Anyway, with every election our political maturity increases which imo is almost as important as the result itself.

100 MRAPs from UAE
the type of this MRAPs is still unknown

300 APCs from unknown sources but little information says the APCs will be coming from proforce

While plans are on the way to acquire more super tucano from the US

Plans to acquire a frigate for the Navy is already in advance stage

And trust me months from now when the new government comes in they will try to out perform the buhari's government in arms procurement, to be able to have the bragging right over the military success in the future.
This means more arms procurement grin

All excellent though it should've happened a decade ago.
Congrats!

From another thread.

RiceProducers:

There are many mini but safe submarine designs that are now available.
Small submarines would be affordable and make the Gulf of Guinea very dangerous to an adversary. They would be very silent and can pop up to firing positions quickly and then hide.

True, but there are trade offs. Firstly there are certain fixed costs associated with subs like the Shore based Sub Support facility. Smth like Kings Bay Naval Sub Base in Georgia for the USN Tridents allowing for loading of stores, repair and maintenance under a roof allowing submerging and berthing away from nosy satellites. In typical American style its HUGE! A small (by US standards) town of 15 k spread out over 6500 ha. Expect the infrastructure to include facilities like several 50 T hydraulic hoists,

5 axis CNCs like this for precision repair and manufacture of extremely low tolerance parts and spares for the propulsion and/or weapons sytems.

Escape training tanks like this

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QnFXS29ExrM

not to mention cold stores, armouries and health facilities from gyms to dentistries and hospitals. The large 5 axis CNC starts at 500 k$. All under roofs with the docking bay on the beach to allow berthing.

Minimum of 2 TRVs, Torpedo Recovery Vessels like the Indian Astravahini. I can't find a price but its MUCH smaller than a 300 ft OPV about the size of a Damen Stan around 130 ft. Such size vessels start at around 40 mn$ and you'd need at least 2.

L&T Defence midget submarine SOV400

The 44 m long, 490 ton displacement midget submarine will have an endurance of 21 days and be able to traverse submerged for 80 nm and cruise for 2000 nm at a speed of 4 knots.

Designed and developed in-house, the SOV 400 will be capable of carrying a crew of ten along with the ten more special operations troops. The submarine is positioned to provide smaller navies with constrained budgets an asymmetric capability. The vessel will be utilized to deploy and recover special forces while submerged for intelligences, surveillance, reconnaissance (ISR) as well as sabotage, rescue and evacuation missions.

The vessel will carry two heavyweight torpedoes outside the pressure hull for shallow-water attacks. It will be able to dive to depths greater than 100 m and travel up to 2000 nautical miles(3704 km). SOV-400 can also be carried by conventional submarines to be deployed as per mission requirements.

The SoKors have the Dolgorae class.

175 tonnes (172 long tons) full load
Length 25 m (82 ft 0 in)
Beam 2.1 m (6 ft 11 in)
Speed 16 knots (30 km/h; 18 mph)
Complement 14
Sensors and
processing systems
STN Atlas hull-mounted sonar
Pilkington CK34 search periscope
Armament 2 × 406 mm (16 in) torpedo tubes
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dolgorae-class_submarine

Imo,midget subs won't fit in financially or tactically. Spending a 100 mn $ minimum to carry a couple of SEALS and/or 3 or 4 torps within the Gulf of Guinea doesn't make sense. For a starter sub I'd go for the French Andrasta at 150 mn $ and 3 mn $ yearly op cost..
Type Submarine
Displacement 855 metric tonnes (Surfaced)
Length 48.8 m (160 ft 1 in)
Draught 6.5 m (21 ft 4 in)
Propulsion Single-screw[1] diesel-electric, with batteries and AIP.
Speed 15 knots (28 km/h) (submerged)
Range 3,000 nautical miles (5,600 km)
Endurance 5 days (submerged)
Test depth >200 meters
Complement 19 crew, plus 2 passengers and 6 divers
Armament
Six torpedo tubes, which can also fire anti-ship missiles.[2]
A3SM (Mistral SAM) mast option.
Notes Design concept only. No vessels yet ordered.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andrasta-class_submarine

Learn sub ops and develop doctrines. After a decade scale up with 350 mn $ Kilos. In my rough estimate the cost of the ShBaSuSuFa and all equipment and buildings alone should be minimum 500 mn $.

Our navy is trying more than the other armed forces especially the airforce in terms of local technology manufacturing.
Although don't expect these ships anytime soon, since it takes the Nigerian dockyard about 3 years to complete one ship

Meanwhile, I think it's time we finally acquired our first submarine even if it's diesel. Also an additional frigate won't be bad

ARGHHHH!? We covered this extensively from all angles- financial, tactical and geopolitical. Guess why Finland, a 1st world nation by any measure has no subs?

Really!? They decided on an aggressive battlefield posture this week in Kherson to prove their worthy of a new US 3 bn $ arms package. Here's their major Anglo Zionist MSM outlet:
“They used everything on us,” said Denys, a 33-year-old Ukrainian soldier whose unit fell back from a Russian-held village after a lengthy barrage of cluster bombs, phosphorous munitions and mortars. “Who can survive an attack for five hours like that?” he said....“We lost five people for every one they did,” said Ihor, a 30-year-old platoon commander who injured his back when the tank he was riding in crashed into a ditch.

Ihor had no military experience before Russia’s invasion of Ukraine on Feb. 24. He made a living selling animal feed to pig and cow farms. His replacement as platoon commander also has no previous military experience, he said.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/2022/09/07/ukraine-kherson-offensive-casualties-ammunition/

Read the whole thing. Am trying to avoid Russian media but the mayor of the Transcarpathian town from whence the 128th mountain assault brigade was drawn declared a day of mourning-they took at least 70% KIA. This neutral blog from an ex serving American officer reveals the truth of the Kherson fighting.

The Ukrainian soldiers never had a chance to withstand the might of the Russian military. None whatsoever. That was recognizable from the very onset of the war. That the Ukrainian government and its backers tried to withstand the onslaught was illogical...My best guess is that Ukrainian losses are not five but ten times those on the Russian side. An attack, through the open steppe, on an armored force that is technologically superior is a suicide mission.

It was a terrible decision that shows the J/Uke army command wasn't in control of things. No FKn way any army man even the greenest 2nd lieutenant couldn't ordered an attack against prepared positions on an enemy with armour on a battlefield without cover! Look at the pix-its basically ALL steppe;no cover or even concealment.
There are some lessons from this tragedy. It seems this move was pushed by Zelensky against the advice of army commander Gen Zeluzhny. I can believe that as there've been stories of J/Uke army resentment with Zelensky for interfering in operational details.

President Volodymyr Zelensky denied rumors about plans to transfer the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Valeriy Zaluzhny to another position.

For the longest time I've been a reader of history-in wide sweeps not big bites. As such I've not paid attention to the monumental arse the J/Ukes are suffering. The details aren't important-the wider story has played itself out endlessly ever since the Kurgans,a tribe of extremely aggressive Caucasoid Neanderthals the ancestors of todays Russian Caucasus people, the Dagestanis,Chechens,Georgians,Armenians,Abkhazians,Azeris,Turkics (not Turks!) etc,etc and ofc the Khazars stumbled off the steppes 5000 yrs ago into today Caucasus region. Fighting, mass murder and genocide have continually chronicled the sociopolitics of the place.
These are just 2 wars. The first was a 50 yr campaign that killed a million +!

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caucasian_War

This was actually a series of 12 campaigns lasting 300 years!

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_the_Russo-Turkish_wars

Its obvious there's smth in the air, water,DNA or socioculture of these people.

The Originals suffered the worst! Not all were wiped out. They're still there within pockets like those black Abkhazians of the late 1800s show. They're NOT slaves! They were ALWAYS there and live on though their Africanness has been now practically subsumed completely assimilated after thousands of years.
They were the first losers, displaced by the Caucanderthals. Today, the names are different but the players are the same: the anatomically modern human in the shape of Putin's boys is defending himself from the innate aggression of Zelensky's Caucasian tribe.
There is nothing new in this world.

What the world's most expensive hunting rifle teaches us about gun making.
The VO Falcon isn't new. It came out in Sweden in 2011 ( I told you before about those Germanic gun makers didn't !). I hope you're seated- it retails for 820,000$ !? It's the PINNACLE of gun making showcasing the hand and tooling skill needed to make a truly fine gun- what the Brits call a bespoke gun. A collectors item available for kings, drug kingpins, NFL heroes and similar types unbothered by banalities of braces, rent, mortgage, and/or tuition fees.
That's over 10x what you'd pay for bespoke guns from Brit gun makers like Purdey, Rigby or Holland & Holland. Btw, there are smaller outfits in Austria and Germany known only to collectors whose guns average a 100k$ a pop but I digress.
Firstly behold the full stock in beautiful first grade walnut. Look at that grain! That long stock is def NOT common nowadays like the old .303 Enfields common in E and Southern Africa dating from the 1890s. Combined with the octagonal barrels vibration is reduced improving accuracy.
Look at the detail of the decorative engraving and the fancy scrollwork. Here is the entire process from choosing the wood and finishing the stock, making the action, the barrel.
[url][https://vovapen.com/the-art-of-gunmaking#tradition-innovation/url]

What would you buy with $820,000? (Just shy of £500,000 to you and me.)

Seven top-spec Range Rover Sports? A four-bedroom Georgian house in Edinburgh? Or, perhaps, a VO Sporting Falcon Rifle?

Let's all set REALISTIC targets! Let's all work really REALLY REALLY hard to buy one by the time we hit 30.
Like I said realistic targets in life are crucial!

ION,Poland is rearming at the fastest pace globally and looks set to double their armed forces numbers in 5 yrs.

The 'Defence of the Fatherland Act', a bill first announced in October which parliament was debating on Thursday, had initially planned for an increase in spending to 2.5% from 2024.

Defence Minister Mariusz Blaszczak said the bill would raise the number of soldiers in the Polish army to 300,000 as part of a five-year plan. Poland currently has around 143,500 soldiers.
https://www.reuters.com/world/europe/poland-ramp-up-defence-spending-army-ukraine-war-rages-2022-03-03/

Given their location and economy the number of working platforms in their Order of Battle really isn't bad-fyi,their ahead of everyone in the EU in terms of MBTs

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FHmYZsP9t6k

The ongoing situation just across their SW border is ofc cause for concern not just locally or even continentally but globally. These guys have historically attempted and failed to punch above their weight. In the late 30s they ignored Hitlers repeated requests for peace and discussions on the fate of ethnic Germans in the Danzig corridor and Poland and sparked off WW 2 by mass murders of ethnic Germans and border incidents. That and ancient grudges with Russians plus the resentment of the more recent history of the cruelty of the suffering inflicted by Judeo Bolsheviks during communism makes me doubt the Poles are preparing for peace .

The grievances extend across the ages, from Polish invasions of Russia in the 1600s to Russia’s repeated conquests of Polish lands later. The 20th century left particularly throbbing wounds. Russian prisoners of war, taken when Poles fought for their independence after World War I, died en masse in Polish camps in the 1920s. The Soviets conspired with the Nazis to divide up Poland before World War II.

And then Moscow made Poland a vassal state under Communism, even naming the alliance of Soviet satellites in Eastern Europe after the Polish capital. In recent years, it was Russia that felt alienated, as Poland embraced NATO and approved plans to host an American antimissile system that the Kremlin calls a threat.

In the background since 1940 was one of the most traumatic events for Poles, the massacre of more than 20,000 Polish officers and others by the Soviet secret police in World War II, compounded by a cover-up by Moscow, which for decades blamed the Nazis.
https://www.nytimes.com/2010/04/18/weekinreview/18levy.html

Am I the only one who wonders what f'ery Poland is cooking up?

Generally much of the Soviet bloc is underexposed and have a sizable racist population especially in the rural areas. I have a few friends in Russia and sometimes they tell me very bad experiences.

However why many Africans support Ukraine is just due to the Western factor, not as if they love Ukraine.

USAID alone sends about 40 billion in aid per year. When Russia starts to do stuff like then we can talk. Let me not begin to talk on western investments in food security, economy and the energy sector.

Russia only wants to send weapons and mecenaries to Africans because they envy the west and are desperate for CONTROL. If they really love Africa then they should invest in Africa and not push war machinery alone. Africans are not born to fight each other.

Even China is doing a better job than Russia.

The world doesn't work like that! Everything is quid pro quo-before exposing your quid make sure the other guy has a verified quo whether he's Oyinbo,Chinese,Russian or Uruguayan.

Yes until 5th Sept - next Monday - full hearing to start tomorrow and end on Sunday. Monday we get a verdict. So far it appears the request to retally or recount - and declare Raila winner has fallen. Only 15 polling stations will be recounted. What remain therefore is either to validate or invalidate - and if they invalidate - how to deal with IEBC which is dysfunctional.

Last night in Westlands I was with a few of the wider Kenyatta clan-this incl the Muigais (not Mungais), Gathechas, Koinanges and Muhohos. It was most amusing to observe their body language. For the first time since Ruto was declared winner they were uncertain. Their previous misplaced confidence had E-V-A-P-O-R-A-T-E-D. There were recriminations galore: "we should have controlled the agents ourselves;" "WTF exactly happened!";" why can't RAO ever organise ishyt properly?" etc, etc.
They're out of options.

It's very tragic turn on events. Thankfully Chebukati stood tall and brave. Those are very unfortunate treasonous acts that will see Kenyatta, Mois and all their enablers being sent to cleaners. They underestimated Ruto - and now they have on week where they should pray for Supreme Court to listen to their intimidation/bribery - and occasion a constitutional crisis - by annualing Ruto win.

I think Supreme Court will do the right thing - Raila had all the advantages one can hope for going into this election - he lost to an underdog by being lazy and overconfident as always- he didnt even do basic stuff like having agents - he doesnt want a re-run - he wants the court to make him president - and if not to occasion a constitutional crisis.

It will be a constitutional crisis to allow re-run when Uhuru and Raila will intimidate IEBC or make it impossible for another re-run where they will lose. What will happen Uhuru continues as caretaker president with limited power...Ruto continues as deputy president with majority in parliament and senate. It will be total chaos...the limping economy will grind to halt...soon it will become a civil war and kenya will finally join other failed states in Africa.

SO constitutional crisis when our economy is limping would be insane. Therefore I expect Ruto win will be validated. Raila was already given an opportunity in 2017 to run again - and he boycotted.

Once Ruto is sworn then the music will start. Kenyatta & Mois will be running to exile. Ruto is bad news. You will see from next week. Even now the coup plotters cannot dare to come in public - Mutyabai the useless Inspector of Police is down sick (probably poisoned) - the rest are going to get killed if they are not carefully this week.

I hope there are srs plans in the pipeline. If not dealt with once and for and all they'll screw us endlessly with their corruptly acquired trillions. We'll be endlessly destabilised and sabotaged at every turn. Btw,everyone else I've been telling you for the longest my problem with Wanjohi's enormous entitlement- do you now see my point?

When RAO went to court frankly I yawned. Like seeing the same movie 7x I knew the plot:
- he'd flood the court with a truckload of evidence
- the court would say,"nigga,we don't need your family's prescriptions or your high school love letters dating from 1960!?"
- he'd screech in pretend outrage playing to his excitable electorate
- his threadbare "evidence" consisting of forum printouts from sites like Mr Seed/ nipate / Mashada and jukwaa proboards would be dismissed in 20 mns

But now it seems he's scored the perfect own goal. Forcing the IEBC commissioners to testify may have been an ASTRONOMICAL blunder. Heard the latest?

Commissioner Abdi Guliye indicated in his response affidavit that IEBC vice chair Juliana Cherera was working in cahoots with Azimio to force a presidential vote runoff He also claimed that some members of the Azimio top brass tried enticing the commissioners with "rewards" while seeking to have the declaration favour Raila

NAIROBI, Kenya, Aug 27 – Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) Chairman Wafula Chebukati has named senior government officials who wanted to subvert the will of the people at the Bomas of Kenya during the announcement of the Presidential results.

Chebukati says about 10am of the said date, the National Security Advisory Committee (NSAC) members came to see him alongside other commissioners at the national tallying centre at Bomas, and asked him to ensure a runoff, if he couldn’t declare Raila Odinga as the outright winner in the 2022 presidential election.

In his affidavit has listed the names of the NSAC delegation that were represented at the said meeting, including Principal Administrative Secretary at the office of the President Kennedy Kihara , Solicitor General Kennedy Ogeto, Inspector General of Police Hillary Mutyambai and LT. General Francis Omondi Ogolla the Vice Chief of Defences.

Rvp20182, Ruto must prioritize drastically reducing the Kenyatta wealth. They'll destabilize our politics in perpetuity to protect themselves this 60 yr mountain of ill gotten gains- NOTHING IS TOO MUCH for them in this regard.

Its ok to have opinions on the war-you can believe the MSM if you want but I've noticed a certain subset of posters has nothing but contempt for Russian arms and their warfighting. Imo this is a natural outgrowth of the Angolan experience but the truth is what happened on the Angolan savannahs is a FARRRRRR cry from the conventional set piece battle of Mariupol featuring a well defended dug in enemy and an equally determined attacker.
The last time the world saw such heavy FIBUA fighting was over 50 yrs ago in Vietnam or earlier in Korea!? The Russians did it the ONLY way Fighting in Built Up Areas can be conducted- troops on the ground battling yard by yard, house by house and street by street. Fyi 200+ KIA were discovered in the factory basement.
I rmbr a SADF vet saying many of the destroyed T 34s contained charred kids chained inside and thrown towards their line repeatedly; Russian advisers lamented the laziness of their Angolan 'socialist brothers' who preferred boozing behind the lines. As such their performance reflected their behaviour-recce was unknown and small unit leadership at coy level was often completely absent.
This Russian army undertaking the SMO is a whole 'nother animal: put some respect on their name!

My Kenyan people, it seems election tensions are not yet over.

It's over- it all ended by the 13th. What's happening now is the usual post election Basketmouth judicial script from a serial loser.

AIYAYAYAA!? I ALWAYS knew Ghana beneath the fake stats was in ishyt. Hear the esteemed monetarist Dr Steven Hanke:

When it comes to the source of Ghana’s economic problems, VP Bawumia plays the BLAME GAME. You know, it wasn’t me, it was the guy behind the tree. Today, I measure GHA's inflation at 80%/yr. Without a currency board, GHA is going down the tubes.

Even if all the World Rapers stop their f'ery right now some of us are irretrievably fecked.

In my personal opinion will disagree with this one

Bec any object in space is documented and tracked by multiple agencies across multiple countries

Any Thor like system will be detected the moment it is deployed into space as it is a big threat

And a rod of tungsten weighing tonnes will not disappear on impact , it will be recoverable whatever chunk of it is left after impact buried into the ground

Plus huge mass of tungsten hitting the ground will create a unique geo/tectonic signature , which is easily identifiable

And hypothetically if there was even a iota of truth ch.nese would have been dancing over it till now
And hostile action by a foreign country targetting infra from space is a perfect excuse for counter action whatever it maybe, no country on the recieving end would let it go

True, but the sheer magnitude of the seismic record make me doubt the official story. Seen this?

The Binhai New District of Tianjin was shocked by two explosions in the Ruihai International Logistics warehouse in the Tianjin Harbor, one of the busiest harbors of China. Two explosions with energy of 3 and 21 tonnes of TNT, equivalent to earthquake magnitude 2.3 and 2.9, were reported to occur within a half minute [1]. Both explosions can be clearly identified from the seismic waveforms recorded by the regional Tianjin Seismic Network.

The Chinese are obsessed with face-rmbr how they downplayed their KIA from the Doklam incident? It wouldn't be in their interest to admit they're helpless against God rod tech.

Shma2022:

Rule of "engagement" 010: This is absolutely key. MAINTAIN RELATIONSHIP! if you disagree with your fellow brigade. Humiliating, embarrassing or aggravating your opponent might make you feel good, But that should be way above the CODE of a self-proclaimed data analyst ( OLD classy man) ~ maturity rule 101.

The above is for what I emboldened.

First two lines, you're spot on. You didn't have to engage in our NOISE - kudos. But at no point did I see any empirical data from your end. You kept on throwing insults and expressing your egocentrism to every anti-UDA; I and Tyser to be specific. That's not the point.
This is the point: you didn't engage me with data, you treaded insults; you went mute(best strategy to pull yourself out of post- election criticism), and now you're here chest thumbing for things you never participated, 'mzee'! grin

Ok!

You were out of picture when I and Rvp were going full berserk on each other. Just remain in that pisspot. cool

Dude, I gave my analysis late July. I kept off that noise cause it was between you and rvp20182.

I refuse to believe it's that serious. Today I just heard from a reliable source Uhunye has been advised by NSIS he's losing. He's TWICE FKed as he's completely antagonised Ruto and MUST yet protect his dad's ill gotten gains without even minimum home ground support.
Meaning? He's yet to come to terms with the fact the cards he's holding are ishyt!
Also even the so called Deep State, who btw couldn't even head off the repeat election have largely sided with Ruto.

Also, you SHOULD know by now I'd REALLY much rather make my point and leave it at that- endless looping of same facts isn't my thing.

Makoko danfo man, that last is ONLY for you!

Will your Supreme Court scoff and dismiss this risible attempt at dynastic entitlement?

Most likely. This election took long to call due to the processes Stargate254 explained. Fyi,Raila claimed to have lost before due to rigging but WTFever.
