You are persistently wrong.

Your belief doesn't cancel fact.

My Immigration gun is not not not G3, its confirmed HK416, Google it.

Pic 1. Short scope, Squad optic for short range sighting in CQB engagement. IAR SAW LMG variant.

A Squad optic is for Squad gun called SAW or LMG. See same short fat scope on Immigration gun, so its SAW LMG.

Pic 2. Immigration gun has exact same short fat scope. DMR Sniper variant.

Pic 3. Long scope is Sniper Marksman optic for long range sighting standoff engagement.

Your plenty story is wrong. Face data specs facts. Leave faction imaginations. Factory tech has advanced, so barrel materials can be light alloy despite looking like heavy it may be light.

You also wrong you imagine barrel to change is that heavy internal systems n accessories cover housing that already has vent holes for air-cooling hell no, its only uncooled thin barrel changed in overheat.

Your many speculations are not data specs fact.

Last bye bye young friend, enough said grin

The Immigration guy has the much loved
HK 21 based off the G3.

In1961 Heckler&Koch had completed about 1/3 of its first manufacturing contract for the G3 rifle. At this time the HK management decided that it would be worth the investment to develop a universal machine gun which would be as close to the new rifle, in terms of design and maintenance, as possible. The basic action of the new machine gun, which received the company designation HK 21, was similar to that of the G3 rifle.

And easy pickings for snipers.

Modern warfare is protected mobility and that's why there are now platforms to address that no matter the terrain.

Our theatre isn't the J/Uke situation. The Portuguese perfected combined dragoon/airmobile tactics in Angola in the 70s.

In 1966, the Portuguese Army created an experimental horse platoon, to operate against the guerrillas in the high grass region of the Eastern Angola. Each soldier of this unit was armed with a G3 battle rifle to use in combat on foot, and with a Walther P38 semi-automatic pistol to use while on horseback.[1] The troops on horseback were able to operate in difficult terrain (unsuited for motor vehicles), were less vulnerable to landmines and had the advantage of being able to control the area around them, with a clear view over the grass (which foot troops did not have). Moreover, these unconventional troops created a psychological impact over the enemy, who were not accustomed to dealing with horse troops and had no kind of training or strategy with which to face them.[2]

The experimental horse platoon was so successful that its entire parent battalion (the Reconnaissance Group of Angola) was transformed from an armoured reconnaissance unit - equipped mainly with Panhard EBR armoured cars - to a three squadron horse battalion known as the "Dragoons of Angola". One of the typical operations carried out by the Dragoons of Angola, in cooperation with airmobile forces, consisting of the dragoons chasing the guerrillas and pushing them into one direction, with the airmobile troops being launched from helicopter in the enemy rear, getting it trapped between the two forces.[3]
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dragoons_of_Angola

IIRC,an ex commander said such a unit could clear an area in a third of the time with half the guys of an inf unit.

Somebody is thinking! Though it takes time for operators to get used to they're ideal for the environment. They provide a height advantage enabling the rider to see farther than enemy on foot and are faster to search an area while being less tiring.

Yes the coast is slipping away. I have seen Raila rallies in Mombasa today, Kwale and Taita Taveta - very low key. It's really difficult time for any incumbent candidate to campaign (self-inflected destruction by Raila) - economic situation worldwide- is hurting people. Looking at the opinion polls - and taking them at their highest - they remind of 2010 referendum - where undecided voters remain very high - till election week. Come election day - the Nos did very well - scoring 32% against project 20% - because like now (Ruto folks are mostly unwashed poor hustlers) - the Nos where mostly poor christian fundamentalist- while the Yes were mainstream - shied away. So generally prepare for "shocking" margins of defeat of Raila.

My predictive model looks like this.

Total Registered votes 22.1M
National Avg Turn out 73% - down from 78% in 2017
Expected Total Votes 16.3M
Ruto win 54% of 8.7M
Raila second 44% of 7.2M
Waja & Mwaura score 1% of 231K.

GOV SEN WOW MPS
UDA 24 26 26 148
ODM 7 11 9 43
JUBILEE 2 2 1 25
WIPER 4 3 5 25
UDM 4 3 2 12
ANC 2 0 1 12
FORDK 2 1 1 12
DAP 1 0 0 6
KPU 1 0 0 6 1
OTHER 0 1 2 1
TOTAL 47 47 47 290

Both sides right now are trying to see who can outrig or sabotage the election. Uhuru knows it's gone but he is not going down without a fight. The political risk therefore of a 2007 kind of meltdown is very high. But given their defeat is overwhelming....my numbers I suspect are about 2-3% underrating Ruto victory - that are disguised now as undecided voters - they will fold their camp. But again expect all kind of shenagians and prepare yourself accordingly.

I agree but imo turnout will be a little higher. Wanjohi tried to make a Ross Perot out of Wajackoyah but failed. Clinton won, or rather Bush Sr lost cause the Texas billionaire drained his votes.
Ofc, it's NOT a unanimous agreement but still...

AUSTIN, Texas -- It's been written and said more times than anyone can count that H. Ross Perot cost George H.W. Bush the 1992 Presidential Election.

Perot took 19% of vote
Clinton won with 43% of vote
https://spectrumlocalnews.com/tx/austin/news/2019/07/09/ross-perot-often-credited-for-costing-bush--92-election/url]

This noise to a typical white American..it's like you dancing to indian music. They cannot process the beats. Its alien to their ears. You also will struggle listening to rock music. Its cultural and it's upbringing...they cannot process our afropop ..they can't dance to it..they can't get the beats or the rymth...if they attended it just like sampling foreign cusine once in a while .Black people will instinctively get Africa music and dance to it.White people the same to their genre.. instrument are different.. arrangements different

Its been said " white people CAN'T dance," with good reason. If you've eyes you can see it. Look at white couples in a hip hop club- stiff jerky, all elbows almost like a muay thai workout in a phone booth! Observe them at their own rock concerts- same movements.
It's a cultural thing connected to their neurons likely at the genetic level. There's actually a college thesis level paper on the topic. Here's the best takeaway.

By all of this, I mean to say that when I say white people can't dance or at least can't dance with black people, I mean that they have not only not picked up a certain set of rules and regulations associated with the body and the overall beat of (black) dance, but also—in many cases— have not picked up the overall flow—philosophy of (black) dance.

Forgotten history: a SADF vet tells how Recces trained Zulus for inter tribal violence , a force that morphed into the "Hidden Hand" responsible for 10000 deaths. You guys are young but at one stage it seemed SA would dissolve into civil war before the 94 election! Train attack and township shootouts killed a hundred a week at one stage.

behind the random violence, which included military-style attacks on trains, drive-by shootings and a series of massacres and assassinations. The train violence swept the Rand from 1990 onwards. By June 1993 it had caused some 400 deaths and countless more injuries, and left thousands of commuters consumed with fear on a daily basis. Such attacks frequently generated further violence.

https://youtu.be/y3MTFohsibc

This training was the genesis.

Many came to believe that a 'hidden hand' or 'third force' lay behind the random violence, which included military-style attacks on trains, drive-by shootings and a series of massacres and assassinations

NOT a story you'll hear in the hundreds of autobiographies (correct me if I'm wrong!). I ALWAYS say history is important.
Try to look deeper into causes of conflict. The MSM would happily have you believe the EXACT OPPOSITE of the truth - Iraq, Iran, the J/Uke thing etc, etc.

A 100 yrs since development of the biggest force multiplier in tactical aviation -A2A refuelling!

1923, the U.S. Army undertook tests at Rockwell Field, San Diego, California, to test a more practical way to lower a hose from one airplane to refuel another in flight. In its tests, a DH-4B biplane outfitted as a tanker and equipped with a 50-foot (15-meter) length of hose and a quick-acting shutoff valve would fly above the receiver and lower the hose. The person in the rear seat of the receiver aircraft would grab the hose and connect it to the aircraft. If the hose became detached, the valve would immediately cut off the flow, preventing it from spraying fuel over the receiving aircraft and its pilot.

https://www.centennialofflight.net/essay/Evolution_of_Technology/refueling/Tech22.htm

Johnny Brit further refined the system.

this method, the receiving aircraft trailed a long horizontal line with a grapnel at the end. The tanker trailed a weighted line and approached the receiver from behind and to one side. It then crossed to the other side, causing the two lines to cross and touch. The receiver aircraft then hauled in the lines and the hose from the tanker.

The thirsty jets of the US Strategic Air Command demanded faster A2A procedures and dedicated refuelling a/c.

Boeing Company began testing the "Boeing boom" system, consisting of a large-diameter pipe connected to the rear of a B-29 and fitted with small wings at the end. The boom was lowered and "flown" to a connector on the receiver aircraft. This allowed fuel transfers to take place at higher speeds and, more importantly, allowed more than six times as much fuel to flow per minute.

NOTHING has changed since then- the equipment and the process has been standardised globally. Refuelling UAVs a century frok now if hydrocarbon engines are still in use will likely use the same hoses and drogues as were developed decades ago.

Tanzania special forces with a double barrel assault rifle

Not a hater but it's a gimmick, imo! What's the purpose of a double shot of 5.56 needles when you can send a 6.8 mm or 7.62 NATO nail ?
Imo this is the only realistic twin barrel tactical rifle; an underbarrel 12 ga shotgun. Yes, 2 simultaneous shots may be ideal to penetrate armour and IIRC the AN 94 from Kalashnikov was prototyped for the purpose.
[urlhttps://youtu.be/XOHmfJ2O-JA

As you can see it had accuracy issues defeating that purpose and was also too complex for field maintenance and repair.

The AN-94 has the unique feature of delaying felt recoil for the first two rounds. This, it is claimed, increases hit probability under the most adverse combat conditions.[1] The AN-94 offers a unique two-shot burst function at a stated 1800 rounds per minute.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AN-94

When a round is fired, residual energy from the propellant charge in the cartridge acts upon the safely locked breech and bolt carrier. Simultaneously, a quantity of powder gases driving the bullet through the barrel is tapped and acts upon the piston in the gas tube located above and parallel to the barrel. The movement of the piston and its connecting rod acts upon the locking bolt, causing it to rotate and allow the breech to safely open. This initiates the extraction and ejection cycle for the first spent cartridge. After the first round has been fired, the bolt and carrier group move toward the rear, ejecting the first casing towards the front of the ejection window. The movement of the Carrier is directly connected to a pulley system which is connected to a small metal rod ...

JESUS!? Even an experienced Master Gun Maker would struggle to repair the Abakan!

The idea however makes more sense to me than 2 barrels. Ofc increased barrel erosion would be a problem but modern mitigation methods exist from ceramic coatings or application of niobium, titanium and/or tungsten.
I see a successful version of the Abakan coming soon. Nowadays even Sahelian jihadists wear Level 3 armour.

He, or rather Munya on his orders changed the directorship of tea factories(which are private entities) and promised to move the bonus payout from October to early July.
As of now even banks are clueless! The main accounts are still unaudited and whoever signs off on anything will be held liable for unprocedural maybe even criminal acts which likely explains the delay.
Do you expect the same nigga to campaign in a teazone and say vote for RAO , really?

What's good NEVER grows old! The Browning Hi Power is reborn with an extra 4 rounds by FN. It was born in 1935 at the hands of American master firearms designer John Moses Browning

Browning built his first firearm in 1868 at the age of 13, the first of a long line of handguns, long guns and machine guns. Browning designed more than thirty firearms, with the Winchester 1885 single shot rifle, Remington Model 8, Browning Auto 5, Colt Woodsman, Colt 1903, Colt 1911, Browning Automatic Rifle (BAR) and M2 Heavy Machine Gun. The latter is still in use by the U.S. military to this day. Browning also invented a number of gun calibers, including the .380 ACP, .45 ACP, and .50 BMG.
Although Browning is today best known for the Colt 1911A1 handgun and the M2 “Ma Deuce” heavy machine gun,
https://nationalinterest.org/blog/reboot/browning%E2%80%99s-hi-power-pistol-was-decades-ahead-its-time-193780

You can see it influenced pistol design til today.

A simple to disassemble, reliable semi automatic pistol with a large capacity nine millimeter magazine, the Hi Power is similar to the Sig Sauer P226, Glock 17, Beretta 92 and the Smith & Wesson Model 59

Actually SIGs,Glocks, Berettas and CZs are similar to the High Power- they all came later!

The Hi Power was the sidearm of over 70 nations. Eg, both sides in the Falklands contretemps carried it.
Quality NEVER dies.

Lemme ease your work by cracking the numbers for you sir.

Baba the 5th's starting point is 5.3 M votes nationally.
Arap Ruto's starting point is 3.8 M votes nationally.
Kalonzo's starting point was 1.5 M votes before he became Azimiod. After joining his votes were added to baba's basket to make it 6.8 M.
Assuming a voter turnout of 15.2 M, 50% + 1 = 7.62 M.
Raila needs 7.62 - 6.8 M = 820,000 votes to cross the constitutional threshold. This is all he needs from Mt Kenya. He can literally sleep for the next three weeks, wake up on 1st August, campaign for a week and still whoop Ruto's ass mercilessly. It seems it's a done deal!

India’s Tejas light combat aircraft has emerged as the top choice for Malaysia as the Southeast Asian nation looks at replacing its ageing fleet of fighter jets and the two sides are holding negotiations to firm up the procurement.

They beat out JF 17s, Yak 130s and So Kors GA 50. You'll see it wasn't only the FSB itself but the entire PACKAGE India could offer which included maintenance of Malaysia's Sue fleet.

Finally India has an export order for indig platforms! I expect bigger orders to follow once Malaysia tells of the Tejas quality. This is a win for ALL developing nations.

I'm not actually a western fanboy but American tactics and strategy in conventional warfare trumps the Russians. I understand that it's better to be a good Strategist than a tactician but Russia is poor especially in strategy.

Just look at how poorly guarded their supply lines were from the beginning of the Operation in Ukraine. I've never seen American tanks being blown up like the Russians except in the second world War. This loss in men and materiel by the Russians shows great incompetence by the Russian High command.

Their advance is slow and methodical. They don't want to alienate the J/Ukes and many ethnic Russians in the warzone.

On the economic side of things, things never moved further from where the other administration stopped

I rmbr asking the question on ToT and was told smth about proper representation,IIRC. Maybe they misunderstood the question!

Have you seen this nemesis4u? The Turks are increasing their presence in the tac aviation field. They've already sold a squadron of Hurkus LAPs to Niger and are now challenging your Tejas Malaysian sale with the Hurjet.
Someone purports to have a comparison!

Development began ONLY in 2017 which is WAYYYYY fast for FSB productionisation which can easily take a decade. For Africans in an airspace of L59s/Mig 21/23s and F 5s ofc it's a good deal though one issue remains - the Williams FJ 44 is US. Meaning expect an embargo! IIRC their ATAKs had a similar issue with the Phils' order.

I can't see anything on FAC or operating cost but if they do a JV for indig production with anyone here they'll sell like VERY well. I know Indians/Saffas/S Kors and Indonesians have long wanted such JVs.

Seriously! The entire post is a perfect example! You go on and on and on repeating the most childlike assertions with complete confidence but say NOTHING of substance. Come with facts and figures we can discuss as adults! Smth like this earlier post I had on random per capita defense expenditure:

Those comparisons are from OSI,ie ,the 'net. We and Saffas outspend you nearly 4x as does PNG. Fyi,one of the first things young niggas learn is don't ishyt talk people, especially those you don't know . The way you show constant contempt for those who don't slavishly agree with your POV reveals that you overestimate yourself, a recipe for endless drama and complications in life.

Back to the facts. While I've seen pix of new barracks housing it seems many if not most bases have a srs housing issue.

This situation indicates a very very real budgetary shortfall.

When Sweden ALMOST became a nuke power!

Sweden, which organized its nuclear weapon research program in 1945, began to step back from the nuclear threshold in the mid-1960s and later formalized its nonnuclear status by becoming a signatory to the Nonproliferation Treaty. This case study is part of a larger project on the decisionmaking of states considering procuring or abandoning nuclear weapons.

For some reason they gave up on the idea and upped their defense spending at one being the 3rd highest defense spender per capita after only US/Israel ahead of Russia! They topped at 4% of GDP in the 60s and have been decreasing ever since.

The result was world class platforms! The Draken Saab 35 first flew in the 50s,incorporating a design still seen today. The Saab 37 Viggen followed in the late 60s specifically designed for low turn around times, high sortie rate and good STOL ability.

A thrust reverser allows for the Viggen to land within five hundred meters, the airframe is designed to touch down without flaring at low speeds to minimize damage to expedient fields and roads.

Smart design also meant the Viggen could rearm extremely quickly, turnaround times were clocked at under twenty minutes with conscript ground crews, maximizing the rapidity to which the Swedish Air Force could respond to an attack. It was estimated that aircraft could fly upwards of five sorties a day.

The Grip still shows the original 60 year old design. These Scandis were good designers-after all they're Germanic. They had a turretless tank which was highly rated. Luckily,Russia never took them on but I suspect they'd have received a bloody nose had they done so.
