Hmmm Na so... Putin go church, but church nor enter Putin Even Satan was present when the Sons of God were gathered together... That was when the problems of Innocent Job started... He better ask God for forgiveness and mercy and declare a ceasefire in Ukraine.... |
Rugaria:Good discussion.... You also highlighted some very important points above... Especially the atrocities committed by the West in Africa... But Africa's Messiah is not going to come from the East.... Only you and I can truly rescue Africa from decadence Nonetheless in my opinion, China's approach to the development of Africa is better than Russia's China is known for it's non interference in the political situations in different nations, same cannot be said of Russia... But I am worried about the way some (not all) Chinese companies treat their workers in Africa... You may have watched videos of Chinese employers flogging African workers.... Maybe for theft. That reminds me of the way the western colonial masters flogged and brutalized our forefathers. Could it be that bad history is about to repeat itself ? Are we now recycling colonial masters ? That is why I appreciate the likes of Aliko Dangote for making efforts to find solutions to Africa's problem locally. |
Jaapu:Lol... Na my mouth you want for hear say na Mary born Jesus.... Amala nor favour Nigerians 8 years of Running stomach everywhere... Make dem go eat Tuo or Semo or Eba etc etc |

If Pounded yam nor good for your belle, you nor go eat Amala or Semo etc ? |

after4:Hmmm Na wa . France is a major player in the European Union..... The only nuclear weapons state in the EU. They have a major hand in the sanctions from the EU. So you are telling us that France and China are on the same page when it comes to the War in Ukraine ? ----- not condemning Russia Why are they sending weapons to Ukraine..... China did not send weapons there. .(check the link below) https://www.aa.com.tr/en/europe/france-to-deliver-caesar-artillery-guns-shells-to-ukraine/2570644 There are numerous articles online that states clearly that France condemned the invasion of Ukraine Also try and watch the video below. The same way Nigerians should Knock out APC with a deadly upper cut in 2023.... And Restore the Greatness of our dear Nation... |
Rugaria:Bros, One question... You want the west to go and allow Africa breathe which is a good thing.. But do you think the East would be more favourable to the continent and has no eye for the continents natural resources ? From all current events, they are very much interested in the natural resources at your backyard. Hunger stricken Mali is currently paying $10 million monthly to Wagner group.... And if they can't pay in cash, they pay in kind (natural resources) My point is this : East or West cannot solve Africa's problem.... Africa's solutions must come from within, if not every other aid is not free, it is temporal and is carrot just to get the rabbit. The people that we are looking to solve our problems solved their own problems themselves. Africa needs to wake up from this post colonial beggerism and idealogy that our solution lies in the hands of everyone but a black man. Unless we do that, I am afraid we would just be recycling colonial masters in different shapes and forms coming with different carrots for one purpose ...... The Rabbit Africa Unite...... Russia investigates media report on presence of British SAS special forces in Ukraine Russian media report alleges that the SAS has deployed to the Lviv region in western Ukraine. Russia is investigating whether sabotage experts from the United Kingdom’s Special Air Service (SAS) special forces have been deployed to western Ukraine. Russia’s top state investigative body said on Saturday it was looking into a Russian media report alleging that the SAS had been sent to the Lviv region in Western Ukraine. Russia’s RIA Novosti news agency quoted a Russian security source as saying that about 20 members of the SAS – an elite military force trained to conduct special operations, surveillance and counterterrorism – are operating in the country. In a statement, Russia’s Investigative Committee said it would follow up on the report that the SAS had been sent in “to assist the Ukrainian special services in organising sabotage on the territory of Ukraine”. The British Ministry of Defence had no immediate comment on the Russian investigation. The UK sent military trainers to Ukraine earlier this year to instruct local forces in using anti-tank weapons. On February 17, a week before Russia’s invasion, the UK said it had pulled out all troops except those needed to protect its ambassador. It was not clear what steps the Investigative Committee planned to take in response to any SAS involvement in Ukraine. The possible presence of forces from a NATO country in Ukraine is significant given that Russia has issued warnings to the West not to get in the way of its invasion of Ukraine. ‘Requisite training’ Since the start of the war, the UK has provided Ukraine with anti-ship, anti-aircraft and light anti-tank weapons, which have proved useful for mobile Ukrainian fighters to use against Russia’s armoured vehicles. The British government confirmed this week that a small number of Ukrainian troops are being trained in the UK for the first time since the start of the Russian invasion. The troops began training with armoured patrol vehicles donated by the UK this month, a spokesman for Prime Minister Boris Johnson said on Thursday. The spokesman said the UK, in conjunction with its allies, was providing new types of equipment to Ukrainian soldiers that they may not have used before. “It is only sensible that they get requisite training to make best use of it,” the spokesman said. “We are always conscious of anything perceived to be escalatory but clearly what is escalatory is the actions of [Vladimir] Putin’s regime.” Members of the Ukrainian government visited a military camp in April on the UK’s Salisbury Plain where they were shown demonstrations of equipment, followed by discussions on how the government can supply weapons. The UK’s military has been training Ukrainian forces since the 2014 annexation of Crimea. They were withdrawn in February to avoid direct conflict with Russian forces and the possibility of NATO being drawn into the conflict. The United States military is also training Ukrainian troops on using howitzer artillery while the UK is training Ukrainians in Poland to use anti-aircraft weapons. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.aljazeera.com/amp/news/2022/4/23/russia-investigates-report-of-british-sas-forces-in-ukraine

sapientia:Very correct... You must be a good mathematician.. 1 + 1 would forever be 2. After eating the bait of Ukraine, he can go ahead and eat the Moldovan bait The United States and United Kingdom would just be smiling at the European Union and say But we told you guys na.... |
after4:Really.... So France has not condemned or criticized Russia for the invasion of Ukraine ? Are you sure ? What about the Sanctions they slapped on Russia ? Is that not part of condemning the activities of Putin's Russia in Ukraine... Tell me what I don't know.. |
Pro-Russian Separatists in Nairaland. Food is Ready oo. Time for you guys to Debunk this News.. I Hail Putin..... He has succeeded in planting Pro-Russian Separatists in different nations and regions That he even have is his Separatist fighters in Nairaland.... They are ready to insult, abuse and may "kill" anyone that speak against their master Putin or is idealogy..... They are carrying out their own Special Putin Operations (SPP) in Nairaland... They would invade any thread or topic that speaks well of Ukraine, NATO and the West ....... The same way Putin's Russia invaded Ukraine because they were tilting towards the West and NATO. They would make sure that they De-Westernize and De-NATOnize the Thread or Topic....... because that is the order they received from the Kremlin Vladimir Putin the master planner......... I Hail You. |
omis1:Bros, From what I am seeing now, this war go enter next year oo. I pray it doesn't sha... I want both sides to return to the negotiation table in Turkey.... It is better to Jaw Jaw than to War War....... Winston Churchill |
Owopariola01:Russia and America are normally Tom and Jerry.... No love But there are recent cases where Russia had to extradite some fellows because of Cybercrimes... The United States made the request and Putin's Russia granted it... |
Vicotex:So you cannot reply my comment without being abusive ? No problem, I understand.... Na Buhari cause am. ![]() So you believe Russia can continue manhandling Ukraine if their economy is crumbling on every side Abi ? Nor bi who chop belle full dey fight war and continue the war... If Western Sanctions hit them where it hurts do you think Putin would continue this War..... The effect of the sanctions have been mixed so far..... but in the long run, it may hurt Russia badly. Because of the European Union dependence on Russian Oil and Gas Putin's financial war chest is being refilled daily... Forget about the money western nations freezed, Putin is making nothing less than 30 Billion Euros monthly from Oil and Gas sales to the European Union. So my point is, as long as Putin's financial War chest is being refilled, the guy can continue to oppress non NATO countries... If the money stops flowing, he would think twice and pause his War Crimes because he knows he has to pay salaries back home |
godofuck231:That means you don't know much about the Wagner group... They are deadly Russian mercenaries.... they kill Jihadist and (civilians suspected to be helping Jihadist) mercilessly... Whether this story is a hoax or not depends on who is reading the article... Pro Western readers would tell you this is Legit news... Pro Russian (Anti- Western) readers would call it a hoax.... Fake news Both sides are correct... Let God be the one true Judge... |
compton11:Lol... ![]() The same way Buhari honoured Dariye and Nyame... That is aiding and abetting corruption or Kwaruption in Buhari's voice.. |
The Group of 20 major economies cannot effectively function as long as Russia remains a member, Canada's finance minister said on Friday after a week of protests of Moscow's war in Ukraine at the International Monetary Fund and World Bank meetings in Washington. Discord over Russia's presence at the meetings has been on display all week, with officials from the U.S., Canada, Britain and other Western countries staging walkouts three days in a row whenever Russian officials spoke. The G20 finance ministers and central bank governors, who met in Washington on Wednesday, failed to agree on its traditional communique outlining economic policy goals as Russia blocked strong language condemning its invasion of Ukraine. The IMF steering committee and the World Bank-IMF Development Committee also failed to issue joint statements. "The G20 can't function effectively with Russia at the table," Chrystia Freeland, Canadian minister of finance, told a news conference with Ukrainian Finance Minister Serhiy Marchenko in Washington. "Russia does not have a place at the table of countries who have come together to maintain global economic prosperity," Freeland said, adding Russia has violated longstanding international rules with its invasion of southern Ukraine. "You can't be a poacher and gamekeeper at the same time." The tensions have called into question the effectiveness of the G20, which includes Western countries that have accused Moscow of war crimes in Ukraine, as well as China, India, Indonesia and South Africa, which have not joined Western-led sanctions against Russia over the conflict. 'GRASSROOTS' PROGRESS This year's G20 host country Indonesia is still optimistic that progress can be made on a number of issues despite the tensions, Indonesian Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati told Reuters in an interview. "Even with a walk out, we all agree" on the substance of work that needs to be done, Indrawati said. Indrawati said she is more focused on "grassroots" technical work underlying issues such as strengthening a G20 common debt framework for poor countries, and creating a new financing mechanism for future pandemic needs, than issuing a communique at the present stage. With other G20 finance meetings scheduled for July and October and a leaders summit in November, Indrawati said there was ample time to continue progress. "If there is no forum at all, then the world is going to be in a much worse place," with each country setting policy without regard for others. Freeland, who is of Ukrainian descent, has made impassioned pleas on behalf of Ukraine since Russia invaded the country in late February. On Thursday she directly addressed Russian Finance Minister Anton Siluanov, who joined an IMF meeting virtually, saying his participation was "perverse and absurd" since "your war is making us poorer," according to a source. Russia calls its actions in Ukraine a "special operation." https://www.reuters.com/world/canada-says-g20-cannot-function-with-russia-table-2022-04-22/

Van der Sar chooses Mane over Benzema for Ballon d'Or The Senegal international has received backing from an unlikely source to win the individual prize. Former Manchester United goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar thinks Liverpool forward Sadio Mane should be considered for the Ballon d’Or award ahead of Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema. The retired Dutch shot-stopper, now chief executive of Ajax, says Mane has shown his importance to both Senegal and Liverpool this season but he is not getting the credit he deserves. "Benzema Ballon d’Or? For me it’s no. Wait, there’s a player currently doing just as well as Benzema and no one is talking about him,” Van der Sar said, during a Twitter space last week as quoted by Africatopsports. He added: “Do you know Sadio Mane ? Along with [Mohamed] Salah, Sadio has been Liverpool’s best player for several seasons now. If any player should win the Ballon d’Or, it’s him.” That high praise for Mane, who has 19 goals and three assists in 42 games for Liverpool this season, over Benzema (38 goals and 13 assists in 38 games) has left opinion divided among fans online. “Love Sadio but he's not even having the best season of the Liverpool front three. Liverpool without Mane would still be a top team, Real without Benzema would be in the Europa League,” said @bruceford27, who thinks Benzema is way ahead of Mane. But @shotgunloverr disagreed. “Liverpool without Mane wouldn't be in the FA Cup final, would be maybe third, wouldn't have a Carabao Cup title. Senegal without Mane would not have an Afcon and aren't in the World cup. He's having a fantastic season,” he said, enumerating Mane’s recent achievements “Mane is doing well but not as well as Benzema!! Benzema is higher,” responded @benramdaneomar9 with @RichYoung2020 also in agreement with him, “Benzema is doing outrageously well.” @GottfriedEiseb feels Mane is up there with the best. “There are some idiots who will nominate [Lionel] Messi and [Cristiano] Ronaldo again as top five candidates. Mane deserves a nomination for the top three,” was his assessment. “Sadio who?” posted @Kamal1442, perhaps wondering why the Senegalese is being touted for the Ballon d’Or while @SirGoddey agreed with Van der Sar, saying briefly, “True statement.” “Just the king,” said @Sm10Junior in support of Mane. While Van der Sar’s sentiments are likely to raise further debate, there is no denying Mane’s importance to both Senegal and Liverpool, especially this year. Mane scored decisive penalties for Senegal when they won a maiden Africa Cup of Nations title as well as sealing a World Cup ticket, at the expense of Egypt on both occasions, and his goals have kept Liverpool in the hunt for an unprecedented quadruple. https://www.goal.com/en-gh/news/mane-over-benzema-for-ballon-d-or-van-der-sar-chooses/blt13369df6ec240a50

godofuck231: The article has nothing to do with the War in Ukraine... There are Russian mercenaries in Mali (West Africa). They are hired by the Malian Junta to help them fight Jihadist..... French soldiers left a military base in Mali and with satellite surveillance caught the Russian mercenaries burying bodies of what looks like civilians... Now the Russian mercenaries are saying that it was the French soldiers which left the military base that killed the civilians.... |

The UK-based tennis tournament announced the ban in light of the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Tennis star Novak Djokovic has called a ban on Russian and Belarusian players competing at Wimbledon “crazy”. His critique on Thursday came a day after the oldest tennis tournament in the world announced the measure, in light of Moscow’s invasion of Ukraine. Wimbledon, which is based in the United Kingdom, became the first tennis tournament to prevent individual athletes from the two countries from competing amid the continuing conflict. Speaking to reporters at the Serbia Open, Djokovic said he “cannot support the decision of Wimbledon”. “I think it’s crazy,” he added. “When politics interferes with sport, the result is not good.” He added, however, he will “always condemn war, I will never support war, being myself a child of war … I know how much emotional trauma it leaves. In Serbia, we all know what happened in 1999. In the Balkans, we have had many wars in recent history.” The ban means world number two Daniil Medvedev from Russia and women’s fourth-ranked Aryna Sabalenka of Belarus will not participate in the June 27-July 10 competition. Ian Hewitt, chairman of the All England Club, said on Wednesday, “We recognise that this is hard on the individuals affected, and it is with sadness that they will suffer for the actions of the leaders of the Russian regime.” “The Belarusian Tennis Federation categorically condemns the decision taken by the organisers of Wimbledon to suspend Belarusian and Russian tennis players,” it said in a statement. “Such destructive actions in no way contribute to the resolution of conflicts, but only incite hatred and intolerance on a national basis.” The Professional Tennis Players Association (PTPA), the breakaway players’ body launched by Djokovic in 2020, said it was committed to protecting the tennis community having heard the experiences of individuals impacted by the war. “As major competitions throughout our sport contemplate banning Russian and Belarusian athletes, we have to reflect and understand that many of them have lost their freedom of choice and expression, due to the laws being enforced by the Russian and Belarus Federations,” the PTPA said in a statement. “Speaking against Russian or Belarus or denouncing the invasion may result in imprisonment.” Ukraine’s Elina Svitolina said Russian and Belarusian players who denounce Moscow’s invasion of her country should be allowed to participate at Wimbledon. Medvedev made a plea for peace on Twitter in February while his compatriot Andrey Rublev wrote “No War Please” on the lens of a TV camera on his way to winning the Dubai title. Sport meets geopolitics Djokovic has not shied away from controversy during his professional career, most recently during a public standoff with Australian officials over his refusal to get the COVID-19 vaccine. The tennis player was also widely criticised in September of 2021 for dining with Milan Jolovic, a former commander of the notorious Drina Wolves paramilitary unit, which participated in the genocide against Bosniaks in Srebrenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Jolovic is celebrated by many Serbs for saving the life of convicted war criminal Ratko Mladic during the war in Bosnia in July 1993, when Serb forces came across the Bosnian army in the Bjelasnica area just outside Sarajevo and had their tank destroyed. With his unit, Jolovic managed to save Mladic and he was subsequently promoted to a higher rank. A UN court in 2017 found Mladic guilty of genocide and war crimes in Bosnia and sentenced him to life imprisonment. Before the dinner, Djokovic was also seen singing at a wedding in Bosnia with Bosnia’s Serb member of the presidency, Milorad Dodik, a well-known genocide denier who regularly advocates for the secession of Bosnia’s Serb-run entity, Republika Srpska, from the country. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.aljazeera.com/amp/news/2022/4/21/djokovic-calls-ban-on-russian-tennis-players-at-wimbledon-crazy

Russians accused of staging French burial of bodies in Mali https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T7rUB7vRJmk The French military says it has videos of Russian mercenaries burying bodies near an army base in northern Mali, which it says is part of a smear campaign against the French who handed the base to Malian forces earlier this week. Satellite images taken by the French military Thursday morning and provided to The Associated Press show what appear to be 10 Caucasian soldiers covering approximately a dozen Malian bodies with sand 4 kilometers (2.5 miles) east of the Gossi military base in the country’s north, according to a French military officer who spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak to the press on the matter. In the video one of the soldiers appears to be filming the scene. The Caucasian soldiers in the video are believed to be members of the Wagner Group, a Russian mercenary force, the officer said. Several tweets with pictures of the bodies have been posted on accounts that support Russia or fake accounts created by Wagner, the officer said. The tweets blame the French for the killings and the burials, according to the French officer. One tweet from an account called Dia Diarra, allegedly created by Wagner, said: “This is what the French left behind when they left base at #Gossi. These are excerpts from a video that was taken after they left! We cannot keep silent about this!” The French army transferred control of the Gossi base to Malian soldiers on Tuesday, in what the French said was a safe, orderly and transparent manner. Later that day a “French sensor observed a dozen Caucasian individuals, most likely belonging to the Wagner group,” and a detachment from the Malian army arrive at the Gossi site and unload equipment, said the French military in a confidential report that was seen by AP. The French military said the move to discredit the French forces operating in northern Mali is part of a coordinated campaign of multiple information attacks on them that has been going on for months. In February, France announced it would withdraw its troops from Mali amid tensions with the country’s ruling military junta and the West African country’s decision to employ Russian mercenaries from the Wagner Group. Some 1,000 of the Russian mercenaries are believed to be operating in Mali, according to military experts. https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/russians-accused-of-staging-french-burial-of-bodies-in-mali/2022/04/22/c6b768a4-c228-11ec-b5df-1fba61a66c75_story.html https://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory/russians-accused-staging-french-burial-bodies-mali-84240036 |
