The 51st Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, was on March 4, 2016 installed as the Grand Patron of Kegites Club International. The event held at one of the halls inside the palace of the Ooni at Ile Ife. Oba Adewusi thus joined Former President Olusegun Aremu Obasanjo as one of the Grand Patrons of the club.

The event was attended by the creme de la cremes of the Supreme Comradium. One prominent name among those who attended the event is Doctor Peter Fatomilola. Doctor Fatomilola is a Nigerian dramatist, film actor, poet and prolific playwright.

The installation rites was conducted by the AB Chief of the Kegites Club International World Headquarters, Obafemi Awolowo University, Chief Oluwagbemiga. He was ably supported by his fathers, Chief Odidiomo and Chief Saheed Olugeemol of the World Headquarters. Other notable Chiefs of the Kegites Club that were present are Chief Michael Adekan, Chief Teeto Richards and Chief Oluwo of Ilya Du tecco, yaba College of Technology.

Oba Adewusi being the Grand Patron of the club has thus become one of the pillars of the supreme comradium.

The kegites club or the palm wine club is the most popular socio-cultural club in the Nigeria. The club originated from the University of Ife ile ife (now known as obafemi awolow university). The club was formally formed in (1962). The club had its 1st chief in the person of PROFESSOR OLUSEGUN ADESHINA. Incidentally, since the formation, the club has undergone various kinds of transformations. For instance, the club had its 1st female member (okpeke) in the person of L.S.F DUKPE AJAY. She was the 1st female to join the club in (1968).

In (1974), the club started spreading to other schools in Nigeria with Ilya Du Tractor (Federal College of Agriculture Akure Ondo State Nigeria) as the first Ilya to get a Keg of Office (accreditation) from the World Headquaters. While the first Ilya to get a Keg of Office in Imo-Abia hemisphere is Ilya du Kokoroko (Fed. University of Agric. Umudike, Abia State).

In 1986, Chief ANTHONY UZODINMA OGIDI became the first and only Igbo man to be made a World Chief, and it was during his one year reign that the name of the Club was changed from Palm Wine Drinkards Club to Kegites Club International. This change was basically because members of the club were being connoted to be drunkards and irresponsible people.

Kegites Club International has over 100 branches all around the world, including Ilay du Punjab in India, Ilya du Queen in England and Ilya do Windy in Chicago, USA.

15-year-old Son Of Murdered Delta Monarch Emerges Nigeria's Youngest King

The 15-year-old son of kidnapped king of Ubulu-Uku Kingdom in Aniocha North Local Government Area of Delta State, HRM Obi Akaeze Ofulue III, who was killed by his abductors in January 2016, has ascended the throne of his forefathers. The deceased 52-year-old king was on 5th January 2016 abducted by suspected Fulani herdsmen on Obior/ Igbodo Road, Delta State, along with his driver. The monarch's corpse was found at Ekpon in Edo State at 3p.m. on 21st January 2016.


The new king is Obi (King) Chukwuka Noah Akaeze I, and he has been presented to the people of Ubulu-Uku Kingdom. The presentation of the 15-year-old king fol­lowed the fulfillment of different traditional rites that led to his crowning by the kingmakers of Ubulu-Uku. Obi (King) Chukwuka Noah Akaeze I was first presented to the members of the Royal family before the presentation to the coun­cil of elders at the palace.


The brief presentation ceremony was attended by prominent citizens of the kingdom including the member representing Aniocha/Oshimili constituency at the Federal House of Representatives, Mrs. Ony­emaechi Mrakpor; President-General of Ubulu-Uku Development Union, Comrade Jones Ofunne; chairman of Anio­cha South council, Mr. Isaac Anwuzia, traditional chiefs and title holders in the kingdom, religious leaders, women, youths and other stakeholders.

Hi everyone, after what happened in my husband church on Sunday how he embarrassed me and his worker slapping me. I decided to consult his doctor friend to talk to him ,the only reason he gave the doctor is that the mistress saved his life when he wanted to kill him self because of a woman that died years ago in his church which left him confused then(I traveled with My last child when this incident happen) and the girl telling him not to kill him self is enough that the girl love him and that from that day he swear never to leave that girl nor let the girl feel bad in any situation.

He said that the girl is his life. so for me becoming pregnant is enough to make the girl feel bad so he now tries to defame me and make the girl happy.he suggested that the only solution that will bring peace to my family is me becoming friend with the said girl and serving her.and that I should beg the worker that I have forgiven him if I want him to accept me again.

Now the girl in question here is rude and proud. she insult me anyhow.she laughed at me now that am going through this with my hubby. today she saw me and started laughing that she must make me leave my home with my 5kids.

Now all am asking my self is how can I step so low to the extend of begging my husband mistress just for my husband to love me again. how can I befriend this witch of a girl. How can I worship this girl in my own house all to please my husband. A girl that saved my husband name with Baby m. Will that make me a peace seeker or a fool the more.will a reasonable woman do that?

This will be a very controversial one but as i always maintain...IT IS MY OPINION.

This is not about encouraging any unmarried lady to have unprotected sex with any man but its about letting ladies understand what goes through the mind of most guys when they use a latex on a them.

But before i go on,i would like to ask this simple question..Why do we use a condom?

While the answer to that can be too exhausting i believe that many guys will say they use condoms to prevent stds and pregnancy but after marriage they will not even think about using it on their wives but would prefer the lady to use other birth control methods.

Yes condom is for protection against stds and unwanted pregnancy but i believe this is only a terrible fallacy to boost the sale of the devil's tool.

What is the guaranty that even in marriage,a man or woman can't bring std home to the spouse? What makes it different if a man decides to have a condomless sex with his wife but uses it on a mistress?

It may interest every lady reading this to know that even most single guys usually have a mindset concerning a special lady in their life and they never use condoms on such lady because to them,such girl is too special and so cherished that they will prefer raw sex with.

This leaves me with one answer to why a man will use a condom on a lady and that is because he sees you as an object of a quick and cheap sex,untrustworthy and a potential std carrier and of-course has no deep respect and affection for the lady since he only believes at that point that all you are worth is the sex...This is what goes through the mind of guys in most cases. The most unfortunate twist is that many ladies willingly allow these randy guys to have them at will since there is always a condom to use..how pathetic.

As a lady stop deceiving yourself thinking the guy wants to protect you by using a condom on you but he is only trying to protect himself.

A real sexually decent lady will never allow a man sleep with her before marriage let alone use a condom on her So any lady that allows a man use condom on her is sexually reckless and should be placed side by side with the LovePeddler in the brothels and you can as well ask him for payment after the act.....quote me anywhere...condom is mainly for casual sex with a casual lady a man has no deep respect or affection for.

If a man truly wants you and not just your goody bag,he will not be doubtful to make you his wife rather than use a latex on you severally all in the name of protected casual sex.

If i were a lady,i would rather not have sex at all than have a man stick a latex inside me.If he truly wants me then let him put a ring on it and then we can start making love the way it was originally designed by GOD.

Kaduna state governor Nasir El-Rufai says the stress of seeking ways of creating jobs for the teeming unemployed youths in Kaduna state has left him tired after just 5 months of assuming office. El Rufai said this while speaking at the just-concluded Ake Arts and Book Festival which held in Abeokuta, Ogun State November 17-21.

“As a state governor the challenge for me is what to do to create jobs in Kaduna State. Eighty-two per cent of the eight million people in Kaduna State are below the age of 35.
My challenge is not whether population grows next year or the year after. It is to get jobs for this young people, otherwise no one will sleep in peace. Frankly speaking, five months as governor, I am already tired. I honestly do not think that anyone who wants to do this job seriously can do it for more than four years and not burn out.
