His positioning is always superb and he is also a bit fast so that gives him good advantage against speedy wingers. He can match them for pace and just nick the balls of them. Their was a particular situation in the champions league final Son breezed pass Matip and in the box and was about to pull the trigger but Vvd just nicked the ball and cleared it. Van dijk is the definition of a complete defender in my books.

Like I said before his positioning is the most impressive thing about him and the wah he makes defending enjoyable. Very composed and astute.

I don't know why you are showing me this. I have watched him deal with Traore and Mbappe effortless. Never did I mentioned he has not been outpaced before in his career. I have watched Van dijk enough to know my opinion about him and he is the best defender in the world currently. I don't need you to tell or show me anything.

Ramos is and has always been a wack defender . Van Dijk is the epitome of a defender made in the lab. He has everything in the locker, power, pace, strength, acceleration, tackling, heading, speed, passing, positioning,
leadership, communication, organisation, etc He is a beast.

It’s infuriating how effortless everything looks for him when defending. What I even admire about van dijk is his positioning and how he can use his pace perfectly. I have watched him handled Mbappe and Traore two freakishly fast wingers comfortable one on one.

Marcelo is the only defensive liability in that backline. Carvajal's defense is very good for an attacking fullback. The guy's tenacity and aggression is something else.

I don't trust all these young strikers nowadays because some if not most are honestly system players. I feel we should take the risk with a proven Epl player already and the only three I see are Aguero, Harry Kane and Aubameyang.

It needs to be someone who can pretty much guarantee you 20+ league goals a season, plus another 10-15 in other competitions. We need a prolific, almost a goal every game striker who won't take time to settle in and die under pressure. We need a Harry Kane or an Aubameyang
