Is that not a very risky experiment?

60% of UK population is around 40m, this virus has mortality rate of 3.4%. If the mortality rate remains the same, that’s a possible 1.3m death.

If the idea is to slow the impact, they should have started containment measures early on. He better backtrack and look for a better alternative. The US has already added Uk and Ireland to the travel ban.
I don't think your mortality rate is accurate. That 3% is for the entire world currently. The mortality rate varies from country to country, I think some have 0.2% mortality rate. The question is are there other alternatives? If the alternative is to just hope that a cure or vaccine is made then you're hedging all your bets on something that could take over a year to happen, meanwhile people will be dying. If your solution is to contain the virus then it'll just come around again in the future or from travel and your entire population will still be at risk, there's no good long term solution besides herd immunity or developing a cure/vaccine, and unfortunately there is no vaccine, so the next best solution is herd immunity.

What’s this I’m hearing about UK and herd immunity experiment on this Covid-19 issue.

Is Boris Johnson okay?
The idea is to slow the impact to hospitals for them not to collapse. If you can distribute the spread of the virus over a longer time period, more people can be saved. If you overwhelm the hospitals in one big spike, then many more will die as there aren’t enough beds for everyone.

Nigeria is not doing anything yen yen yen

https://twitter.com/drjoeabah/status/1233989553008119809?s=21[/quote]I flew into Detroit today. Customs did not not ask us where we have been nor did they take temperatures of anyone onboard. No mention of the virus anywhere at the airport as well. Nigeria might actually be taking the treat better than some states right here.

Almost 400 deaths in Italy alone
The Prime minister already put the entire country on quarantine. Shitttt is starting to look like a plague.

This one Milan has been quarantined, do you think AC and Inter will be allowed to play games till season end? Quarantine means no travel in or out, so I can't see how they would let them play.
Italy has already reported 1,400 new cases and 133 new deaths rising to 366 deaths already. That's a 5% mortality rate in a Western country whose healthcare system is ranked 2nd in the world. God help those in Africa if it becomes very serious there.

This Coronavirus will wreck so many things. Euros, Olympics.

Already Chinese GP has been postponed, Bahrain GP will have no spectators
Their is a likely scenario the Euros get postponed till next year or something. The Euros would facilitate widespread travel across Europe which will be dangerous. I don't see Uefa playing an entire competition behind close doors.

Bro the squad was so good and impact, conceded just 15 goals throughout the season,
Six were penalties and I think three own goals, one deflected ball and four outside shots
25 clean sheets
It was like watching a 90s Serie A team in the Premier league. We could score in the opening 10-15 mins and it was game over. The only team we struggled against that season was Arsenal.

More like Ambrosini instead of Seedorf. Seedorf played slightly to the left in the famous diamond or Christmas tree while Gatusso played to the right but helping Ambrosini more
I didn't want to name the entire midfielders so I just listed 2 popular ones. I don't think ambrosini was a starter for Milan when Stam was still at the club. If I remember correctly ancelloti used a 2 striker pairing of Shevchenko and either inzaghi or Crespo back then with Kaka just behind them. Then you had Serdorf, Pirlo and Gattuso doing the bits in midfield.

Not if you rate the player as a good player.

I did say when we signed Bakayoko that this guy was benching Bakayoko at Monaco the year prior so I don't see why we should honour another (false) prophet over our own.
Ok I still don't get your point. In a nut shell are you saying it's a bad deal because we are losing a quality player or the amount we are getting for him is not good enough?

How?

Last seasons loan agreement had a buyback of 15m. At the end of the loan, Atalanta started claiming poverty. We then agreed another loan with buyback. That was opportunity to take him back if we thought he was that good.
It was obvious we never rated him good enough for the club long term plans so we just wanted to get profit out from him. 12million plus all the loan fees over the years for a player with 0 app for the club is pretty good business.

Yup I agree. If Serie A teams ar well funded like EPL teams currrently are, I reckon it'll be the Best League in the world. Infact I have little to no doubt it'll be.

Valencia were not expecting it tbh. They probably don't watch Serie A if it's not the Big Boyz playing and it clearly showed. At times it looked like Boyz vs Men out there and Atlanta should have scored more If we are being honest. They were slicing through the heart of Valencia willy nilly at certain points in the game. If they play exactly like this in the return leg, I fully expect them to come away with a result in that match.
Honestly the matches I have seen of Atalanta they go everywhere with the same attacking mindset so we should be expecting the same approach in the 2nd leg. it will be long before seria a can get back to its 80s/90s standard as you mentioned because of lack of funds and also the lack of genuine world class players amongst different teams.

Has anyone seen how Mario Pallasic has been for Atlanta?
Rumors has it that Chelsea are about to agree a 12.5m pounds with the club to make his transfer permanent in the summer.
He's as good as kovacic with a better goal threat.
Chelsea transfer chief is a retard. Bakayoko, Barkley, Emerson, Morata, Drink water, Batshuayi are all money wastefully spent.
Pasalic has been superb this season. The loan agreement with Atalanta had a 12M buy out option so their is nothing Chelsea can do. It's actually good business from Marina.

Absolutely delighted with that performance from Atlanta. Probably the performance of this round as I don't see anything topping that. This also shows there is more to Serie A than just the Two Milan clubs,Juve,Roma and of recent Napoli. Should shut quite a few naysayers up.
Seria a now has genuinely 5 if not 7 very good teams.
The first 50 minutes were classic Atalanta that I have watched this season. Their initial intensity caught Valencia off guard. There was a period where Atalanta was entering the Valencia final third at will but their final balls was lacking. It was also stupid for Valencia to go to Italy and play a open game. Not many teams can beat Atalanta in an end-to-end match. Atalanta thrive when given space in the opponent's half.

If this does not scream Pathetic, I don't know what else does. I know the board members do not have an iota of shame left but this is just disgraceful. You know things are really bad when the only decent signing you make is a 50 year old Ibra straight from a retirement home.
In my opinion Milan needs stable ownership first and foremost. That's up to Elliot and then an assertive, demanding and pragmatical coach who values work-rate and quick transitions just like Conte. From the looks of things Pioli should be replaced by Spalletti if he's available and affordable. Spalletti has his flaws fl but he has shown reasons to believe he can get a broken machine in motion.

Lazio are just one points behind both juve and inter. They are unbeaten in 18 games while inter are unbeaten in 16. What are Lazio chances for the title?
Looking at the remaining fixtures Juventus 50%, Lazio 30%, Inter 20%. The fact that Lazio are in the title race with inzaghi starting Patric is something else. He is making Conte's work at inter look nothing spectacular when he's achieving the same results with far less resources.

Yh true to some extent. We are amongst clubs that are able to attract players even without champions league football. But still we might miss out on star players if we don't finish top 4. I think we are interested in Sancho ,Werner and some others. Having champions league football will be a plus for those deals.

One season wonder may be an exaggeration regarding the recent dip in his form. Honestly, I was shocked he chose Herta over other bigger teams that approached him for his services. I think he wants to move to place with less pressure to succeed and hopefully reinvent himself. I still think he is a good striker who blossomed too early and found it difficult to manage the expectations. Also, Milan have not been stable especially with coaching so it would be interesting to see what happens now.
I still can't believe how good he was last season and how bad he has been this season. When I watch Milan this season he was always diving after the slightest of contact. Milan isnt at a position to be patient with him. What a huge disappointment and the Milan number 9 curse continues.
