wkid: Dude FIFA 13 is not as demanding as PES 13.

FIFA 13 even works on old systems with Intel Celeron processor and 1 Gb of RAM.
It doesn't have the 128 Mb minimum video RAM requirement of PES.
Even after you bypass the 128 Mb minimum video RAM requirement of PES and you reduce the resolution, it is still slow on very many systems especially those with AMD processors.

Give me proof of that then i'll believe. and also, like i always say, gpu is much more important than cpu in games and the type of gpu is also important. fifa 13 is very unoptimised compared to pes 13. but let's put it to a test, let him try installing it on his pc and let's have the results. like i said, he'll be lucky to get it started. and even if it starts, it'll be a slide show. his lappy ain't good for gaming.

Hold on, I think we're misunderstanding each other here. I don't disagree that the xbox 360 is much more efficient for gaming. Even john Carmack, a renowned programmer, co founder of id software chose the 360 over the ps3 for it easier and efficient architecture. Google him.
ps: The initial post you quoted was about the lack of blu ray on the xbox 360 which supposedly was the reason why the 360 hardware wasn't fully utilised. I was simply debunking that assertion with a link and all. Blu ray is only good for movies and 7.1 lossless audio which 90% don't even have. I'm just saying that however big the storage is, if the hardware can't render the graphical asserts on it, then it useless. This means that even if the xbox 360 had a blu ray drive, it's hardware can only render what it is capable of rendering and nothing more. The only advantage it'll have is high quality cutscenes and 7.1 lossless audio (for the audiophiles) nothing more. See the case of the ps3 and blu ray for reference. It isn't outputting any better graphics than it's hardware would allow it (even with xbox beating it out in most multiplatform games even though it is using a common dvd 9 9gb). Blu ray is just a storage device. It isn't a magical dust that makes games look magically better than they're supposed to like Sony made us believe. But at least, with that deception they won the format war. I hope you get me now

where did i say it wasn't? And the ram are both 512mb, only problem is that the ps3's ram is split between the cpu and the gpu while that of the 360 is a single pool. so the appropriate allocations can be done depending on the dev for optimum performance. Oh plus the extra 10mb esram in the 360. the xdr ram on the ps3 however is faster though, but it doesn't matter anyways.

not rly true. It doesn't matter if the blue ray can carry more textures and other graphical asserts, cos if the gpu can't render it, it wouldn't be of any use. I can't say for a fact that the 360 architechture hasn't been fully utilised or not, buh i can say for a fact that if hasn't, it's not becos of the lack of blu ray. Bluray was good for uncompressed vids and audio in the case of the ps3. Besides it was soo slow some games required a mandatory installationto play. Hope this info helps.

Dude calm down. Most of ps3 games are very linear like God of war and uncharted. It's easier to make very linear games look good. Gears of war 3 graphics and uc3 are on par. I get it if u dnt like the art style but art style doesn't equate better graphics. Plus the gpu in the 360 is much more efficient in rendering games than that of the ps3. And in games the gpu is more important than cpu, tho the cell is capable of gpu stuff (infact , it is the only thing giving the ps3 a saving grace). i hope this helps.

oh sorry mate, didn't see that part. My main gripe tho is that he might not like the games that are kinect related. Besides ps3 also has the move and it more accurate than the kinect, albeit involving a physical controller like the wii mote.

Dude u'll be lucky to see fifa 13 even start on ur pc. But forget about the emulation of the ps2 and the psp games, cos it happening (don't even dream of the ps3 ones at all).
If u wanna be serious about gaming, get an Amd a10 crossfire laptop atleast. That will get u play many games atleast in mid to high settings. Ur lappy isn't meant for gaming.

It wouldn't matter, cos if ur graphics processor can't do it, no amount of ram added can help it. Ram is jux for resolution, u know...720p, 1080p....or 1440 x 900 or 1920 x 1080. The more the ram, the higher u can go without hitting ur perfomance. And this is relating to dedicated cards, the igps on the other hand.....forget it man.
Plus u can have a 512 gpu doing things a 2gb card cannot even dream of doing. So dnt let ram fool u.

Hahahhahahahahahahah, correction, the intel igps are not graphic cards. They're integrated graphic accelerators that take their memory interfaces from the ram u use in ur pc (eg ddr, ddr2, ddr3, and soon to be ddr4). Gpus or graphic cards are dedicated cards that u plug into ur pc's to enable u process graphics more accurately and faster. They have their own ram interface (eg gddr3 and gddr5...) and this helps them to process graphical asserts faster than igp in folds over due to faster bandwidth, among other important things which i wont get into. Due to their work abilities, they are quite expensive (some are cheap tho, buh not in west africa) the two most prominent names in gpu are Nvidia and AMD red team (formerly ati). If u want to change ur gpu, u have to consider ur motherboard, if it supports ur gpu slot type ie pci e or agp(agp is old news now though so let's focus on pci e) and ur PSU cos the recent gpus require external power cord to be plugged in to them, something the old PSUs didn't have (psu= power supply unit).
TL;DR= Your accient intel igps won't render even minecraft, let alone pes13.

Lol dude not all games support kinect and those that support them, i'm sure, are not his cup of tea. Besides kinect isn't very accurate and has it's problems. Well helloo, with God of war u need an emulator, and that's speaking for the ps2 and psp versions, the ps3 version will not be emulated for a very long tym unless there is a working ps3 emulator, then color me surprised. Ofcos that's considering u have a powerful enough gpu in ur laptop to do that. Intel igps wont do sqwat for u. Fifa 13, however u might be able to play depending on ur laptop specs. And even that might have varying performance depending on gpu specs, a powerful enuf intel igp can play fifa 13 tho so..... So send ur laptop specs here and let's see what we can do.

In the past, charity was given to the poor and needy and most of them assembled at the church so it was easier to give to them, that why people gave to the church. Now a days there are numerous institutions people can donate monies to, to help the less fortunate, buh instead of using their brains, people follow the old traditions of giving to the church, thinking they are giving to the lord (seriously, people are that daft?). As if the extravagant church building and the pastor's designer clothing wasn't enough, we had to add more to it, while leaving the poor, to starve to death.
