Texture pop in can be bad coding, sure, and it can also be the console's fault. the ps3 games are technically on par with the xbox games when it comes to graphics, but more people like the art style of ps3 compared to the 360 games. God of war, uncharted etc are all very linear games, so it easier to have more graphical fidelity. That's not impressive if u ask me. That's why i respect games like red dead redemption. They are huge and still look good.

francisbiz: Sometimes the answers you give are not the solutions for the pc games. You have to research wide and understand the problems posted before offering help, else you cos more problems than encountered.
I HP windows8 laptop, most pc games that come in DVD formats do not load in windows8 and sometimes in windows7. Normally the games are pre-windows 7 and 8, not all of them can load even if you trouble shoot in compatibility mode to an earlier windows.
You need serious instructions from an expert to be able to play these games in the recent windows.
Example; Godfather pc game does not load in windows 7 and 8, but when you set the compatibility mode to windows xp sp2 then the game can load and play well in windows7. This solution does not work for this same Godfather in windows 8 untill you change something else.

It was researched dude, for pes 2013 specifically tho. besides, u have to try solutions to know what gud for u or not. That's how one learns. Through risk taking. Nothing is assured.

rasenshuriken doesn't require sage mode. what he's trying to say is that what in actual fact makes naruto's sage mode more perfect than jiraiya's sage mode. Cos jiraiya's method allows for him to absorb longer. for me the only downside would be summorning ma and pa takes too long and if you're not as atleast as skilled as jiraiya, you can't really pull it off against opponents like pain.

To be truthful man I won't call myself a gamer. The last time I ever finished a PC game was 2 years ago (2011)(Call Of Duty 4: Modern Warfare 1) . I'm always so busy so I rarely have time to play games. I've been playing NFS Undercover since July last year (During my I.T) yet I haven't reached 60% yet.
As for my laptop, Its not a gaming laptop. Its a crappy old HP. 500Gb Hard Disk, 4 Gb Ram, Dual Core processor, 64Mb VRAM. I use it for other stuffs apart from gaming. People have been pushing me to get another laptop but I really don't need a new one now. I'll get one later most likely when I graduate from school and have more time. Its got to have an SSD included, Nvidia graphics card (3Gb dedicated video memory minimum), 16Gb Ram minimum, Core I7 4th Gen etc. All the above are subject to change depending on future technology available.
Seeing as PS4 and XboxOne are coming out soon,we'll watch out and see the system specs required to run the next gen games.

You have failed to even point out that any game on the ps3 that was on the xbox 360 has favoured the ps3 in terms of better graphics due to blu ray. Or even exclusives having better graphics due to blu ray. The xbox 360 would've been awesome for if it had a blu ray no doubt, for movies (cos frankly that was sony's aim all along, just like with ps2 and dvd, that's where the real money comes from in respect to disc format), to reduce cost to devs in some cases and to curb disc swapping in some games. Do you see that, in other to bypass the storage limitation, kojima san said the 360 would need 6 dvds, something he isn't willing to do, due to cost (remember the ms policies i mentioned) and his perfectionist personality (seriously that guy needs to chill) Besides mgs was a game full of high quality cutscences which can be very long, and lossless audio (already told you about these two guys and how they hog storage space). See how forza 4 looks better than gt5 or even gears of war 3 looks technically better than MGS4 even tho they come on 2 discs (1 for offline and another for online for both games) as compared to the mentioned ps3 games on blu ray. Blu ray helps with content (as seen with gt5 packing more cars than forza), No doubt, but they don't really affect graphics.

With this, of cos blu ray will look the most appealing storage of choice. Believe me it has nothing to do with graphics. Also the xbox is expected to produce 7.1 lossless audio and higher quality cutscence.To this day the pc still makes use of dvds (some shipping on multiple dics) and it's been outputting better graphics compared to the ps3 and 360 for long. So you see. Final fantasy not being on 360 has absolutely nothing to do with disc space, now see who is talking out of his buttom, lol. Do you know that there was a final fantasy game released on the xbox 360 console (ff xiii)as well as ps3. Infact a similar game was released on the 360 exclusively (lost oddyssey) and came on 5 disc and yet the graphics didn't look any better, only that there was more content (not graphically). i know better hardware is needed... if you have the highest monitor with hi resolution then you dont have a good storage disc for hi resolution pictures how can you see the full potential of your monitor? you have 1080p monitor and your drive is floppy disk can you have enough storage to put HD photos in it?

your analogy is quite flawed. Videos are not games. A higher res video is not the same as a higher res game. you can make a game look higher res with only lighting and cell shading (though texture must be improved as well, but they don't take up giangantic space), but to do same on a video involves more. Xbox is outputting games in the same fidelity as ps3 even though they use dvd 9. I when i said the blu ray, i specifically put PS3 in brackets to show the context in which I was talking, did you not see it. The one in the ps3 can't read above the 50gb mark, the new ones however can. Given that more space is good but lack of blu ray didn't limit the full potential of the 360. for the games that required more space, the games were split into multi disc and the option to install them unto your harddrive was always there. So please tell me how it hindered graphics again.

edit: funny how the game (rage) used in the article actually ended up looking better on the 360 than the ps3.

To check for hard disk errors

4. Click Start.
To check for memory problems
1. Open Memory Diagnostics Tool
by clicking the Start button ,
and then clicking Control Panel.
In the search box, type Memory,
and then click Diagnose your
computer's memory problems.
‌ If you're prompted for an
administrator password or
confirmation, type the password
or provide confirmation.
2. Choose when to run the tool. If
you choose to restart your
computer and run the tool
immediately, make sure that you
save your work and close all of
your running programs. The
Memory Diagnostics Tool will

benalvino: the better the graphics the bigger the game... dvd is not enough to get good quality and put in one game... MSG take about 60gig of data it will take 7 to 8 dvd to get MSG on xbox thats why it didnt come to xbox... so dev needs to sacrifice storage for better graphics and cinematic content... you understand what i mean now? dvd is about 8 gig bluray is about 90gig correct me if am wrong.

you're wrong. blu ray 25gb, dual layer 50gb (that's for the ps3, though) MGS 4 is full of lossless audio and uncompressed and long cutscences. Those things take a whole lot of space. And if you read the link I gave to you, you would have known that another way to combat the slow read of the blu ray drive was to double the asserts across the disc which also takes space, however, MGS 4 went with the other route, which is: Installing on the hdd, so after every chapter, there is a mandatory installation, can you imagine. Also better graphics doesn't necessarily mean bigger games/more storage needed, rather, the better the hardware needed (refer to games like battle field 3 requirements compared to cod mw on pc) a luxury the consoles don't have, reasons i'm sure you know (it's so obvious a baby would know). And so in order to go around this on the consoles, the devs sacrifice other things like open world for linearity in order to render a few ( eg, God of war 3, uncharted 1,2,3, killzone 2 and 3 and gears of war 1,2,3); dynamic or destructible environments for static ones(eg, halo 4); lower frames per second for higher resolution (eg, forza horizon, devil may cry rebirth)etc. a game with a huge size can have poor graphical asserts while a very good looking game can have a smaller size (eg resistance on ps3 and crysis 2 on xbox 360, respectively) Do you get it now. if you are running Windows 7, right click the game application icon (.exe file),go to compatibility tab and
make it run as compatible for windows xp sp2,and save the changes and then run the program.

buzoo i'm sorry, i'm keep telling you that you can't play God of war on your machine. this is due to the ff reasons:
1. God of war is a sony exclusive game, meaning it'll has no pc edition. you can only play it using an emulator. and emulator is a piece of software that allows your cpu to behave like the console architecture. the console architectures are different from the x86 architecture on the pc cpus, so the emulator is need to translate the codes to the pc cpu so it can understand it. which brings me to reason number two.

2.Due to the afforementioned, the hardware power required to do this is double that of the console being emulated. Now you passed the cpu side of it, but the gpu side has you down and out. So you see, it can't be done. If you wanna game, get a good laptop that has a gud enough cpu and gpu, not only a good cpu, like most of the i3s, i5s,and i7s laptops around which aren't gud enough for gaming. Get yourself an amd a10 richland laptop. Those can help you greatly.
