Literature / Ugly Without by Kindoo: 10:58am On Mar 08, 2017
Sometimes I looked at my face Twice in digi I am not in resemblance of Darego Million miles away Very far from it The silent of my mind whispering ask, Why are you so ugly? I smile it off I reflect the glory of God I claim
He can't look this, A pot-belly lady like a man pregnant with beer With buttocks seem running from coming out, flat and flat With eyes toady The teeth need filing, for my lips to close Yet the lips are wide and almost two big The nose is just hot flat The ears were small, as if borrowed The neck was stock in And the shoulder beg not to be flat, but no, really flat.
Friends had dogged me Guys had overlook me I accepted my self And I Joy in my self Not beyond that If I do I will shrink in wicked clown laugh
All this is me without
Within I win thousand Daregos I have the kaffy legs, I danced the skilled to look and  learn I have the throat of fassie The Nightingale is sent packing All this made those who will not dear, desire me.
Haven't I got the needed beauty I have the legs of bolt I have done my nation proud The president shook me The minister pixed  with me My father thanked his head 'Ose ori mi'
It doesn't end there, I am a wife My crown says, virtitously blessed A mother, The children joyfully cry Blessed, blessed It makes me want to cry Those words are my secret treasures Never want to loose them It makes my head swear to the sky
Now my doctorate is ready with Sharp excellent, The nations roar. The first of it kind, the first of it kind A woman A woman That is  the ginger spice
Father blessed 'Your children will make you proud' Mother blessed 'Your children will bring you joy' Crown and kids are proud Friends gave the best wishes Those dogged asked for a sign Those who over looked wished they have not
The without doesn't bother any more I can get all from the within I have great treasure right in there.
Now I can tell the inner mind, I am richly beautiful.

Chineke Na Gode o!!!
By Yemi Alade ft Selebobo.

I like this songs by Yemi. It is purely pointing us to be grateful to God, the Almighty, no matter what, who we are and the class we belong.
Gratitude is one thing we do but don't know much of it effect. It one of the greases of life. You simply appreciate and acknowledge God's good work  and do more.
Nothing is by power, it can only be God. The world is full of wickedness beyond any skill of survival. It is of mercy that you are not consume, for the blessing, protection, kindness, love and all, give thank to God. If not for him, no show at all.
Same thing you do and you have a break others did, they failed
He deserve all praise.
Always thank him, Acknowledge him, make him know you feel His work and you will keep flowing
Yemi thank you for that piece.

Also be grateful to those  who are of good will to you. Those who love you, those who care, those who helped. From family to friends to colleagues to strangers, be grateful.
'Thank you' 'I appreciate you' 'I am grateful' go a long way in the mind of those ones and they in turn want to do more. Don't say he is my dad, my husband, son. Yes thy may be but there is  need to acknowledge what they do and appreciate them. Don't make others feel they are doing just nothing because we refuse to say thank you.
For the piece of bread you say thank you today, one day he will give a car key.

Career / Beyond Limitation by Kindoo: 11:29am On Mar 06, 2017
Why did you want to hiss again and move to another thing? Every time you see something that speaks of success or making it, you get provoked. You do not believe you can, because of past failures. Friend, you have almost deprive yourself of a beautiful life by wrong mindset, a failures mindset. You have allowed failure to take over your life and now anything that speaks about success piss you off.
    Wait a minute!
Who says, not succeeding in one business or what you have done, makes you a failure?  I tell you, not having expected result in whatever you have done, does not make you a failure. What makes you a failure is allowing anything to stop you from achieving your goals. Failure is allowing what had happen to determine your life and paralyse your beautiful dreams.
Can you remember those dreams? Your plans for your life? The picture of the end you have created? Can you remember how you have plans to use your passion affect lives? Where do you place the people now? Now that you have thrown all of that away, now that you  have close the door against them because of those challenges you faced, because  you failed once or twice.
Friends, it is times to reconcile with your dreams and vision. It is time to be yourself. The life you live now is not yours because the dream, vision, future that makes you is off. It is time to come alive.
What did I do wrong?
What did I do  right?
What are the things I did too much?
What are the ones that were not sufficient?
And other questions you can ask to make a review of your life. Be sincere and make sure you get it right, answer all questions right.

What lesson can you learn from it?
Were there those places you kept doing same thing and expecting different results?

Learn from all these and then restrategize and launch again. After all night vain toil of Simon, he launched again at the command of the master, 'He got a net breaking harvest'. Cast your net again, if you do you will succeed. If you will do things the different way, you will win.
You can still fulfil your destiny, you can be what you want to be, if you are determine to beat down totally that failure that had almost beaten you down and steal your destiny.

Literature / Double Mistake. by Kindoo: 10:24am On Mar 06, 2017
Mr Adekunle was a furniture. From the early days of his life, he had had a vision for his future, so he cautioned himself in child bearing.
'A boy and a girl is enough' he thought within 'So I can train them very well'
That was what the LORD granted him. At the first kneel of the wife, she gave a son. Joy,joy, joy! At the second kneel, Ewatomi came forth, a beautiful adorable girl. He told his wife ' I have had enough'. The wife pleaded for just one more, she loved a big house but the husband insisted with explanation.
Adekunle
The future my father couldn't give me, I want to give my children. He had us too many, he couldn't take the responsibility of sending us to school. Our lives suffer it today. No, my children will not go that way. I will give them a future.

Aduke
I agree with you then. May God keep them for us and help you.

True to it, he was committed to his words. He gave it all it took to give them a future. Ayobami, his first and only son was doing just well in school, same as Ewatomi. This made him happy and encouraged. He did all he could and more, when needed, for his children with the help of his wife.
Ayobami finished his secondary school gallant. His father was so happy, that he gave him a little present of a bicycle. Ayo did not write JAMB because he was not well informed, aside that, his father told him to write WAEC and see if he would pass at one sitting. He passed at a sitting, he had one year waiting. While waiting for the next JAMB, he joined his father in his workshop to help him, in the evenings, he learnt computer.
The teenage consciousness did not spare him. He had liked Bimpe since secondary school days. Both of them were on the waiting list, they had the time to do what they liked to an extent. Ayobami used this time to express his mind to her and she accepted. They kept on as good teenage lovers. One thing led to the other, they made love.
Not until the third month did the mother of Bimpe noticed. Bimpe was young and free, she did not note anything. The mother asked her to escort her to the hospital. She did so. There, series of tests were conducted to confirm what the mother had noticed.
The mother went back the next day to take the result, it was confirmed, that she was pregnant with two nations. Unbelievable! She head home straight to find out who is the father of the coming children.

Mama Bimpe
The test showed that you are pregnant. Who is responsible for it?

Bimpe
I am not pregnant.

Mama Bimpe
White man machine does not lie. It showed you are pregnant, Bimpe, you are.(she bursted into tears.) You have brought me shame. A good tale for gossips. A thing of mockery for jesters.

Bimpe held to her words, she was not pregnant. Her mother waited till the time her father came back from work, then she gave the report with the test result. Egbele o!

Baba Bimpe
Bimpe, Bimpe.

Bimpe
Sir

Baba Bimpe
Come over here.

Bimpe
Yes sir.

Baba Bimpe
Who is the father of your children?

Bimpe
Children?

Baba Bimpe
The test showed that you are pregnant. Tell me I will not beat you. You will only take me to his house and I will hand you over to the parents. When you deliver, you can come back.

Bimpe
I am not pregnant.

Baba Bimpe gave her terrible slaps on her face, neck, back but he was conscious not to touch her belly.

Baba Bimpe
(Breathing hard) Who did you meet? Who is your boyfriend, who, who is he, tell me?
(Bimpe became weak) Tell me or I send you out of my house.

Bimpe
Ayobami, the son of the furniture.

Baba Bimpe
Good, good. Bimpe, (he shook his head) you hurt my spirit. I gave you and your siblings my very best. I am working hard for your JAMB form, see what you did to me.(His eyes became blood red).

He took her to her room, told her to pack her load and then took her to Ayobami's house. He met them on dinner, exchange pleasantries with them and went straight to his pains.

Baba Bimpe
Your son had impregnated my daughter. This is the test result. I have come to give her to you. She can return after delivery.

He turned to go' Take care of yourself daughter, I don't want to see you in the house or around me till you deliver'
Ayobamis parent tried in vain to stopp him. He headed straight home. Adekunle could not comprehend what was happening. Ayobami, pregnancy, the girl standing in her shadow and sorrow, the man who refused to stop.

Adekunle
(To the girl) Are you pregnant?

Bimpe
Yes

Adekunle
For Ayobami?(He pointed at him)

Bimpe
Yes

He ran to Ayobami and gave him the punches of his life. The wife ran to stop him. She succeeded after she had partaken few of the heavy punches. Adekunle was breathing hard, disappointment, pains was written on his face.
He asked his son whether it was true and he said, it was only once and it was an accident.

Adekunle
Accident! Accident!!
He rushed to him and gave him some loaded punches again. His wife could not go near, she had not recover from  the ones she accidentally got from the first punches. She was only shouting, 'Please leave him, it is okay'
Adekunle spoke, 'You are no longer my son. Today I disown you. You have chosen to be a father instead of having a great future. Go and be a father'
He sent them out despite the begging from all present and the neighbors that were called in.
They left the house, crying, mourning their accidental mistake. Ayobami tried to be strong, he consoled Bimpe but she would not be, she kept the tears flowing. He led her to a friend's house. After he had explained situation of things to him, he permitted them for the night. They had stopped the tears but the future was unsure. What an accidental mistake!
All the effort of Aduke to plead on Ayo's behalf proved abortive. She called on family and friends even elders in the church to help her begged her husband, they did but he would not listen. He was too hurt to forgive. When they saw he had made his choice, they left him to it.
Life continues no matter what. Ayobami needed to survive, he needed to take care of the girl he impregnated. He joined his friend in okada riding business. He gave 1000 naira to the owned every day. He divided the remaining into two, gave Bimpe one part and saved the other to rent a room and buy furniture tools.
Few months, he moved to a village near the city, rented a house and established a furniture shade. His wife also ran a front house kiosk. They managed whatever they had. Life goes on.
The months got ripen, it was time for Bimpe to become a mother. Ayobami took her to the mission house with the things they have been able to buy. The delivery got complicated. The midwife tried all she could but failed. Ayo ran to the village chemist but he could not help. He told him,
'It is only in the city hospital she can be save. Rush her over now'
Ayo ran all over to get a vehicle, after sometimes he got a man to drive him over. He did all could to do the rushing needed. They got there and Bimpe was rushed into the emergency room. The doctors and nurses ran up and down to get thing set to save their lives.
'Set the theater, set the theater. She  needs the knife to be save'

All other contact of who will take responsibilities for the bills and signing a paper was done, then the doctors set in. Bimpe was tired, obviously tired and was struggling for life in pains. Occasionally she whispered, 'Ayobami'
He was not there, he had gone to get fund. Few more minutes to starting, she fainted. She was revived. The doctors Waited for sometimes for her to become balanced and stable. When she had became more balanced, they proceeded. Under the knife, she breath her last breath.  Oh sorrow! Just at the opening of her stomach. The doctors noted this and tried to save the kids but they were gone with her as well. Eh death! Where is thy mercy!.
One of the doctors called Ayo into his office when he came back from where he had gone to sought fund.

Doctor
We are sorry we lost them.

Ayobami
Lost them? Who?

Doctor
The lady and the babies.

Ayobami
Can I see them?

Doctor
Yes,you can.

He led them him to where they were. Eh death, where is your mercy! There lied Bimpe and the kids wrapped in white. When Ayo saw them, he shouted a great shout. The land beneath the hospital shook. Every one in there, felt it. After that shout there was no other. He turned and headed straight, no one could hold him back and his mouth refuse to say a word.
What he saw crashed his mental system. He could not bear it, from the rejection to the lost of loved ones. He moved from  there to where his feet led him.
So many years after, Adekunle was invited into a town in another state for a burial ceremony. He went there with his club mates. They were on the field for reception, when he noticed that he needed to buy something, he went into the street, where the field was located. As he was walking down, he heard some children hailing a middle age man 'Bimpe, Bimpe'. Their noise caught his attention. He looked at that side. He saw a figure like his. He was curious, he moved nearer and saw a man like him in resemblance, walking down his way. He was puzzled, he moved a little back to see him well. When he saw him, he reminded him of his own son. He called, 'Ayo'.
Ayobami did not respond, he just looked at him, smiled and went on.
Adekunle could not bear it, he followed him but Ayo could not comprehend him. His mind confirmed that, that was his son, he became sobber, he broke down and cried.

Adekunle
Oh what a mistake I made to have sent my son away. Look at him, just like me.

Oh sorrow! he wept.
He asked about him and the people around told him, he had no specific place he stayed. He sent some boys to help him get hold of him so as to take to the hospital.

OMOJUWURA (2017)

This fictional story teaches us one major thing. Not to make our life decision when we are most angry or hurt. It is doubling the mistake that had already been made. Parents, please be careful not to make a mistake along your children's mistake. It is usually hurtful, painful, you may want to misact and this can jeopardize the future you want for the future.
Ayobami did what was wrong, he did what was not of his father for his future. His father only looked at the present pain and not the pain his own decision could cost him in the future. Two wrong do not made a right. The mistake of our children should not be coupled by ours, it will make a disappointment of their future and our future as well.

AliD father was a lazy man,  who leave his life depending too much on others even his wife. He rise to find his way when hungry but never do anything meaningful with his hands.

ComiD
Good morning, Fath AliD

Fath AliD
Good morning. You are set for work.

ComiD
Yes, I am. Please, help me give this key to my girl friend, she will be coming today.

Fath AliD
Is it the fair and tall one or the short and slim?

ComiD
This one is a new one. Tell her, to prepare rice and dodo.

Fath AliD
Okay o.

ComiD handed over the key to him. After a while, Moth SeriD came to knock the door.

Moth SeriD
Ko ko (she knocked)

Fath AliD
Who is there?  Open and come in.

Moth SeriD
It is me, SeriD mother. (She opened the door and went in)

Fath AliD was lying on the parlour's couch, he sat up when he came in.

Fath AliD
It is you.

Moth SeriD
Good morning sir.

Fath AliD
Good morning. You are going to your shade?

Moth SeriD
Yes, customers must have been waiting for me. Please, when my kids come back from school, give them this key.  Please, help me to tell them that, the garri to drink is on the table.

Fath AliD
Alright.

Moth SeriD
Thank you. God will repay your kindness to me.

He shook his head and took the key. It remained one person. That was how it happened all work week. They submit the key to fath AliD or leave a message for some one. After. While the third person came and he took it will normal joy toped by their prayers.
Around  10:30, he felt hunger on that same couch. He stood to check the kitchen, no food.

Fath AliD
AliD mother left no food. I am hungry. Or did she not cook in the morning. She served the children. This woman e. And I am hungry.
(He sat on the couch he stood from).
I will go down the mecho, I might see someone I know. It is not your fault, if my family members had been responsible to me, you would not have done this. I too will have money I will show you.

He lied on the couch, and kept postponing his move to go out. Until he slept off. He was woken by a knock on his door.

GirD
Ko ko ko ko
(Around 12:05)

Fath AliD
Who is there? (He said sleepishly)

GirD
GirD. ComiD said I should take key from you.

Fath AliD
Alright, come in, take the key on the table. He told me to tell you,  to cook rice and dodo.

GirD
Thank you.

As she was going out, fath AliD stood up to go to mecho's place.    He walked as if he was cautioned not to walk. Hunger was eating him deep. He got to mechos work shed and sat quietly.

Mecho
Fath AliD, good afternoon. How are you?

Fath AliD
I am fine. How is work?

Mecho
I thank the LORD.

Mecho faced his work but he knew why he was there.
Fath AliD looked as if he had an appointment with someone. Yes, he had,  with whosoever can give him money for food. He was there till moth seriD children were returning from school.

Fath AliD
SeriD, SeriD, come.
(SeriD ran to him)
Your mother gave me your key to give you. Just push the door, it will open. You will find the key on the table. She said, the garri you are to eat is in the room.

SeriD
Thank you. Fath AliD, we always see you here doing nothing, have you got no job or you are helping Mecho?

SereD
He is not. His cloth is never oily.

SeriD
Are you the boss?

Fath AliD
Will you leave for the house now or I beat you.

As he was talking, he saw a familiar vehicle coming, he dashed away from the children and positioned himself. They left for their house, talking about him.

SereD
He is usually with one cloth. Never going out to work as father does. His wife even has a shed but he moves about doing nothing.

SeriD
He has no job and he bother not to have. He hangs on people to keep soul together. When they drive his children from school, he drives them to his wife. He is lazy I think.

SereD
He might be there to beg for food or something? His children are very brilliant but they suffer from his laziness, looking unkept and hungry sometimes.

SeriD
May be. He is a load on his wife. And when he has little by giving, he drinks his eyes out.

As the car moved closer Fath AliD raised his two hands

Fath AliD
Twale baba, owo meji fe yan kan. (He began to pray in other to get money. The man who had come to pump his tyre, gave him as usual)
Thank you, you will always have. You will never suffer.

The man shook his head in response to the prayer not answering verbally.

After the man had gone, Mecho and Mechek came to him.

Mecho
Fath AliD, what have you done for this man, he always give to you.

Fath AliD
EmeralD will always give to me, he was my mate in secondary school. (They looked surprised)

Mechek
So you went to school?

Fath AliD
Yes, I did. Don't underestimate me o, I have good people all around me. You see, Emperor, the proprietor of the school, on the other street, he was my mate also. This man, the man that owns that waste company, he was my mate. DuchD, the first female SSG of this state was my mate. I have lots of them. There is no time I ask them that they don't give me.
(Mouths were opened as he mention those who held the state as his mate)

Mecho
If all these were your mate, what stopped you?

Fath AliD
What stopped me from what. If not for the people that took over my fathers land, I will be in wealth. While should I stress my self. My father, had great wealth, and I enjoyed it. I am okay, my siblings pay my children school fees and house rent. They were the one who established my wife. If I have any challenge, all I need was to call on them. I am a gentle souled man. I have good people  there for me.

Mechek
Are you normal?

Fath AliD
Yes, I am.

Mecho
You are not. Your life depend so much on others and you say, you are, sou, sou, sou what?

He was no longer convinet. The bitter truth. He rose to go

Fath AliD
You that have been working all day, have you made up to this? (He said this as he went). Why must you poke to my life, sobo... Let me go and eat jare. Moth AliD is put to shame now.

Mecho shook his head, so Mechek, so the other man standing.

Mecho
He is such a lazy fool. He had opportunities but failed to utilized them. Instead of depending on them, can't he ask that they give him work to do.

The other man
They will never again, they had tried these many times but he always ruin it through laziness. I knew him before. It was when he could not pay the rent in our area, that the landlord sent him packing one sunny afternoon.

Mecho
Alapa ma sise

The other man
Then, he would dress like a prince, coming to shop by 11am, to take the money the boy had made, there he goes, drinking, flexing. He come around 7pm, off he goes, to club with friends. Never staying in shop, always spending, careless. Until it ruined, then he goes to zero level. I could remember three of such instances.

Mechek
Even when he came here, he got a gardener job over there (pointing the left direction)
He was always complaining, till he lazied out of the job, now no one will consider him for a job around here.

Mecho
Come to think of it, if he had put in good effort in his life as his mates he mentioned, he might be one of those holding this state now.

The other man
Maybe because when you see him, you see potentials in him.

Mechek
He did not develop it.

Mecho
If he had. He would be great for it. His life would have been  direct opposite of what he is now. Sometimes he may not eat a whole day, if his wife decide not to give him food and his givers did not give him.

A man who had been listening to them spoke out.

A man
A lazy man has no life, and if he has, it is not his, it depend on others for surviver, if they cut him off, he withers. Laziness is a cold robber, a silent destroyer. It deprives one of a bright future but make you feel you are alright. No man achieve greatness by laziness, diligency rules the world.

Lazy one, rise to the duty of your life.

INEC BE PREPARED

InkeY sworD
INEC, INEC, INEC. How many times did I call you?

INEC
Three good times.

InkeY sworD
Ask yourself, what do I do not to fail Nigerians in 2019?

INEC: It should be all round and timely preparations.

InkeY sworD
Is it should be that you... We are not expecting inconclusive anything o, and we mean it. I expect you to say we are already working hard on it.

INEC
That is what I intended to say but,  you know, e. Our work should start as early as possible for us to be able to capture Nigeria without any excuse.

InkeY sworD
We are not in for the excuses. We need you, to give us your best without sparing anything. The preparation for presidential election start immediately you finish one. It is one that determines a whole lot in the Nation.

INEC
You are on the point but you see, the other elections divert our focus. Even the political personnels do not help but we will be on our feet to get it done.

InkeY sworD
Well let me believe you but no excuse is genuine enough to stop you from giving us the  needs. We need no irregularities in 2019, we need perfection.

INEC
Hope so o, you know, some times we plan well but this human factor is something else.

InkeY sworD
INEC, INEC, I trust God to help you. You have been weaken to an extend. Make your survey and know, what exactly and who exactly you will need.  Give your best in reality and let the nation know before the time, the thing we need to know.

INEC
That we will surely do.

InkeY sworD
We are expecting much from you. You should perform far better than you did in the last election. I know you will do it, but to remind you, always review every election and note the things that hindered the way you could have worked.

INEC
To be frank e, tell the people to stop coming to influence us.

InkeY sworD
You should be autonomous, INEC, you should be autonomous. Who is influencing you? Stop influencing them oo. Stop influencing them, let them give us their best. When they are coming too, why don't you shut your door warn them that, INFLUENCERS ARE LIKELY TO LOOSE THE ELECTION. Hahahahahaa! And if you stick to it, they will keep away. May be you are taken that thing.

INEC
Which thing? Which thing? You better wash your tongue.

InkeY sworD
The way you are saying it, shows that your hands go forward to it.

INEC
Sometime we fall the prey, may God have mercy. They give sometimes our salary for two years at ones. It takes grace to say, no. Some that said, no, loose their work or life. So we have to preserve ours by taking it. If it were you won't you.

InkeY sworD
See your blackened linen outside. Since you have sat down their looking in fear as if you are been pursued, I knew you have within tension, pressure from powers without.
Shun those things in 2019 and give us the best, should you fail e, should you fail, you will see Nigerians give you their own gift.

This is fictional.
Say what you expect of INEC in 2019

Literature / Her Love Changed Me by Kindoo: 8:31am On Feb 20, 2017
MY MOTHER, MY HELP
(Her love changed me)

I am Akintunde Omolagba from Aiyeteju. I hide nothing from you, I was v-e-r-y stubborn in my days, the stubborn called me stubborn. I fought those who I was older than, my age mates and those that were older than me. Mention a trouble event that happened in Aiyeteju that I wasn't there, none. To go to another persons farm to pluck fruits, I was the head. To beat another persons child till the mother could not contain, I was the one. I was a master trouble maker and the land knew me, it doesn't take months before strangers knew me. I was all these and everyone lose interest in me, even my father but my mother kept on.
Ask me the tactics she did not use. She cried, she loved, she begged, she yelled, she threatened, she cared, she petted. All to no avail. It was as if I was chosen for trouble making. I have been before the street chiefs, my street and other streets, mostly with my lone mother, others were tired of going with me. Other times, I was before the king with my mother crying, begging, making promises she was not sure I was going to fulfill. I went to prison for the things I did and my mother kept coming. My sibling showed up ones or twice but my mother was the key figure that followed me about. She prayed to the gods and gave sacrifices, she consulted men and women of power, she kept moving for my release. Her friends mocked her as she seemed to have brought forth for trouble.
After my release, she felt I should have a work to hold the future. She took me to a blacksmith workshop, after a lot of pleading and begging, he accept me but my trouble pulled me out. She took me to a good business man, same trouble making evicted me. Counting up like that to five places and more. She took me to the farm, I planted by her moves but played away until weed overtook the farm. I never thought any day about the future, the future was secured, my mother fed me! I just troubled the ones I troubled, form Aiyeteju to Aiyetoro to Aiyegbaju. But mother never gave up, she kept the labour of passion. Oh, what a enduring  mother!
I told her one day, 'I will hunt'
Oh what joy! She took me to the chief hunters house and announced 'Your son will hunt'
He looked puzzled.
'My son' he sighed out.
'He said, he likes to hunt and I came to hand over him to you' my mother said
That was all she could do. She just kept the move, most times not knowing what to get in response.
'The hunting job does not need your sons personality, this is not beating another person's child' He replied
'My mother is not meant for trouble. He can do good things. He will do it, he will work with you' mother said determined
Seeing her zeal and plea, he said 'I will watch over him'
Whenever I am with him, I behaved. When I am out, I become me, beating those I could, slapping the small ones for fun of it. My mother kept speaking, loving, rebuking, praying and all she could do. I was still me.
My turning came after a trouble event, I made trouble, beat a lady. Her family member came to pay back what I did to her. When my mother saw them, she said to me 'run and hide' and I did. They came in and asked of me, she replied that, I was not around. They pounced on the mother of an untrained child, if she could not train her child, she would receive his cane. Broken! They left her. Other members of the house came to carry her into her room.  After a while I came out of my hiding place to the house. The whole house boiled against me.
'You will kill your mother'
'You are a bad child'
'You are no more my child' Father shouted loud.
My mother could not say anything, she just lied on the bed in pains. She could only sigh, as she did, I felt her pains in me, that was the first time I felt anybody in me. Tears came but I refrained. Oh mother, I wept within, how could I? Her person ran through my mind in seconds, 'She do not deserve this' Right there, I made a vow.
After all had gone, I sat beside her bed, held her hand and said 'Mother I am sorry, I vowed not to bring you trouble any more. I will be a good child'
I felt energy surged in her, she managed to seat. She open her mouth, faintly, she blessed my life.
What an enduring mother, she blessed! From that day, I changed and faced my hunting life. It was like a miracle to many, they could believe it but it was real. Her love changed me. I  worked on her farm during the day until she adviced me to get mine. I did. I worked on my farm in the day and hunted in the night. Not until I left my trouble making life, I have no meaning for my life. Thanks to mother, who never gave up.
When asked what kept her, she said, ' The gods gave us these children to mould, whatever happens, we must never allow bad to take the lead in their lives. They are given for good. Though the tide may turn. The storm may storm. If we will stand our ground, we shall win the battle over them. There is a battle to fight. Fight and make sure you win so your ending shall be joy.'

Written by:
OMOJUWURA (2017)

This fictional story teaches us something. It is endurance. Parents out there, with a child that brings them challenge, do not give up! It might be health, academics, character, whatever. Do not give up on the child, give it all takes to build your child, you will have your joy at the end, which matters more. It might look tiring, do not give up, sometimes it may not be yielding, do not give up. Keep moving. At the end it shall speak. Fight out the child you want to see in you child not just any form. If we leave our children to what they do, they take any shape. Fight and make sure you win.

ASPIRANTS TO SHUN IN 2019

-Shun aspirants with no good report and record.

-Shun imposed aspirants. Aspirants birth by cabals, lest we experience godfather doom

-Shun aspirants who do not have professional or political testimonies to back their words.

-Shun aspirants whose ideology cannot serve the nation.

-Shun aspirants, that the team working with them, are not trust worthy.

-Shun aspirants whose mouth are swita than honey with empty words

-Shun aspirants who rely on winning by sharing money and food. Go hungry now to be full in the future.

-Shun aspirants who have no good tie with their root. They are not responsible to their people.

HE OR SHE SHOULD BE

CONSTITUTIONAL REQUIREMENT TO BECOME A NIGERIA PRESIDENT.

(a) He (She) must be a citizen of Nigeria by birth

(b) He (She) must have attained the age of forty years

(c) He(She) must be a member of a political party and is sponsored by that political
party

(d) He(She) must have been educated up to at least School Certificate level or its equivalent.

(I find this to totally unacceptable, at least an aspirant should have master degree with the school certificates to back it. We are in advanced knowledge era.  O level is ridiculous)

“School certificate or its equivalent” is
defined in section 318(1) to mean:
“(a) A Secondary School Certificate or its
equivalent, or Grade II Teacher’s
Certificate, the City and Guilds Certificate;
or
(b) Education up to Secondary School
Certificate level (i.e. without the
certificate); or
(c) Primary Six School Leaving Certificate
or its equivalent and –
(i) service in the public or private sector in
the Federation in any capacity acceptable
to the Independent National Electoral
Commission for a minimum of ten years,
and
(ii) attendance at courses and training in
such institutions as may be acceptable to
the Independent National Electoral
Commission for periods totaling up to a
minimum of one year; and
(iii) the ability to read, write, understand
and communicate in the English language
to the satisfaction of the Independent
National Electoral Commission; and
(d) any other qualification acceptable by
the Independent National Electoral
Commission.”

This educational background needs review. Serious review. If you cannot employ a grade level for the least administrative office in any ministry or commission, why should one with this lead a nation, that is equal to limiting that nation to that level. Knowledge of a leader matters. No nation can rise above the knowledge of her leader.

All the law approved requirement did not say anything about about virtues that make a leader.
Nigerian look out for a man or woman, who is

-Of good report. A name without blemish, who had over the year done the nation proud.

-Mentally and physically alert and balance. Someone whose mental capacity can power Nigeria. Highly intelligent and has wide knowledge.

-Selfless. A person who will not put his or herself first. One who will put the nation first.

- Has recent education and good exposure (experience). Knowledge is of great value, we need a president who has recent education with updated knowledge. One with good exposure, who have seen the developed world and learnt what make things work for them.

- Responsible. He or she must be responsible to his or her family, to his or her local Community. If the aspirant is not responsible to his or her family,  local community, he or she cannot be responsible to the nation.

- A man or woman who knows Nigeria and he or she is able handle our differences.
Nigeria has major glaring differences
1. Religion.
We have different religion. Our president must be all in one yet a devotee of his own religion. He muse be able to contain the religion of others. A Muslim indeed yet not hating people from other religion,  a Christian indeed yet not hating other religion. A traditional worshiper indeed yet not hating other religion.
2. Tribe
Different tribes, one nation. The president who will definitely be from one tribe, must be able to contain other tribes with their uniquenesses.
3. Gender.
Our president sure will be of one gender. He or she must not look down on the power of the other gender.

-Experienced. Experience is vital, he or she might not have hold any political office, he or she must have handle leadership offices and pass with excellent marks.

-Ideology. He or her ideology must be able to contain Nigeria. If an aspirant ideology is one that cannot hold us together in progress, we don't need him.

-Etiquette. Simple etiquettes needed, mutual respect, courtesy, good human relationship. All round discipline.

-A person of good qualities. Integrity, honesty, stewardship spirit, open minded, reserved, good characters and positive attitude, good enough to know that, a tree does not make a forest.

- Fit with age. I suggest between 40 to 60. The presidential seat needs strength and mental alertness.

-A man diligent will take this nation to the next level. We need a diligent president for the multitude of works this nation carry.

-His way with money. Not stingy,  not extravagant. A man too stingy will watch people die and keep the money. The one extravagant, will not hesitate to spend on self luxury. He should be moderate

-Bold and strong to stand for good of the nation and firmly say no to bad.

OUR MESSIAH IS IN OUR UNITY.
Some Nigerians have always joke with the word, messiah,  when it comes to choosing the president. He is the messiah, he is not the messiah. Messiah had come and gone to reign with His father, we hope for his return. (Smiles) To  be  serious, our needed messiah is in our unity. Unity, yes, unity, isokan. We must all, regardless of the state, tribe, region, religion, belief, class and statues, come together as one to choose the one we need to lead us. (Please, let us make this a culture). I heard that some people have a strange believe that aid their making a choice , whether good or bad, in as much he belong to them, they choose him, cut that attitude please. Everything should be done with reasoning. Our choice are very important to our lives. We should not make a choice base on a believe when we know the person will not do us good. You know it, and if you don't know, know now, our unity is one thing they fear, so they cause all forms of distraction to have their way. That trick should not work now.
Nigerians be in unity, become a unit, to get the best you need or you will ever keep thirsting. The choice we make in division affect us all, why can't we be in unity to make one solid decision, we will ever love we made?  Making wrong choice is wrong, hunger knows no tribe nor does it know any party. You educated ones, lead your mothers, fathers, brothers and sisters to make the right choice not to accept deceptive tongue.
Nigerians can we agree on this one thing and stay together like that? We need our unity to  conquer beyond election. Our unity matters now and ever, it is also important, it will birth our messiah. We have once done this, during the time of Abiola, we can do it again.
Let us jointly agree on one person we need, want is optional, our need is compulsory. Let all tribe sing it, let all religion sing it. Be it male or female. If a woman has what we want, why not choose her. We must not be biased, if the aspirant that has the quality needed is a woman, man, Yoruba, Hausa, Igbo, let go for the person.
Quality and responsibility defiles gender or tribe or religion. If the best we see that will serve us is a woman, let us vote her in, making her know that, to whom much is given, much is expected. If the aspirant is of any tribe let us choose him or her, not this roaster that never work.
We need a good servant this time, let us jointly elect him or her. Whether he or she is a known name in the political world or not let us go for our choice. Trump was not a big name in American politics. Let us indeed make a choice. These big names are deceptive, they have given us their best and what do we see!
It is not necessary that the person is from a big political party, he or she can be in a small party and yet have a great vision for the nation.
When we are united as a unit, write as one, sing one song, we will win the game. Our unity will give us the messiah.
Good elders, discerning youths help us make a great choice of good leaders. Don't be silent,  please. Don't be biased. Point him or her with strong qualities.

NIGERIANS BE READY, OUR DECISION EITHER MAKES OR MAR US.
'Prophecy does not kill a wise lame'. 2019  is coming with more speed in the Nigeria political world than it is in the normal life. The politicians are up and down, making strong preparations to achieve their visions for self or party. Nigerians, do not leave them alone to it, get prepared as well. 2019 is another time to make a major decision. We will be choosing a new president by election. We must not allow it to meet us at unaware. The presidential election is a crucial  one, so is every other election but this is a office above all. The president office affect the whole nation regardless of the tribe , religion, political group or what may have you?  that make us feel we are not one.
We have had several elections in the past, but this one must be taken with a different approach to have different result. Marvelling enough, Nigerians have a way of doing their own things despite the global exposure. They keep to a sacred not good enough electorate culture that continue to make them a loser. Sentiments, receiving material and financial gifts, quick to make decisions because of promises made by swit mouths, switined by lies produced from a greedy heart.
         We must know this,
Our destiny is in our hands.
The life we need is our
         responsibility.
         Getting it is our choice
We must be ready and know who we want, no matter the pressure. It is only the greedy that will say he or she does not know the tactics of Nigeria politicians, they are manipulative and terrible with power. When it comes to election period, they become unbecomingly submissive and generous, setting their usual trap for the peoples they have left weak, always to be conquered. They know what they do and have tricks not skills to winning fine. We must not take such this time. Electorate has the power of choosing, choose well. Make a choice by the quality of the aspirant not party, not big name. Big name sometimes, have nothing to offer, same story, same selfishness in high places. Nigerians be fully ready, with a vow to make the right choice come 2019, we know who is who. Same promise of light, road and water after every four years yet the road is accident, the light is darkness and the water is cholera, ain't you tired Nigerians? Can we leave the water and light stage to a level of modern civilization. We must be ready, knowing fully well that the president we need in Aso rock is our responsibility not the party game or buying of votes. We must not give room for their tricks and the chance to out smart us. Let us all excluding no lover of the nation,  do new things, if we want to see new things. Any how they choose to come, let us be ready for them.
Media house, dig only the truth to the public. People of good works and intellect, rise for the true change course.

One clue
Beware of big and known names. We have fallen as their prey over the years. In them lies the big dictate and pursue for self gain. They pursue it with their bigness and plunge us into greater mess. Beware!

Be ready real good. Let us have a true change in 2019.

Business / Hope You Are Investing Real Good by Kindoo: 1:14pm On Jan 25, 2017
It is you, you, yes,  you that I am talking to.
(Smiles)
You see, I saw some news on the net, about some of our young 'hitters' buying cars, watches, more in millions and I thought to myself 'are these guys investing?'
Guys and ladies, that have this time as their season, making the waves right now, invest in real things.
You know, it our kind of way, when we have the hit, we go for things to show that we have arrived, the show off package, proving a wrong point but I tell you, when you hit, your mind should be on investment. The first things to invest in, is asset. Go for asset. One major reason,  why you do this is, Igba o lo bi orere, things don't go the hit, hit, so invest in things that will keep the money flowing in. By this you will not be broke or back to zero level. The truth is, some had regret the days of the past, the days they have and invested nothing then they get broke.
The truth is, the people you spend for, will be the hardest critiques. The millions worth cars can crash, watches can be stolen, all other liabilities take from you but what you invest properly is what holds the future. The future matters.
Make valuations, if your liability is more than the asset, you are wrong, very wrong. The best way to keep your money is to invest it, when you keep in there, you withdraw when needed. Always make sure that your asset is very above your liability then the future is secure.
Now, note this, nothing is too small to invest, don't think, let me eat this, another will come. If you do, you will always miss a chance to be greater.  Have the Sower's mentality i.e an investor's mentality. It is as simple as, never eat your seed as food. When any cash comes in. Separate part from parts. If you are a Christian, pay your tithe, it will make the remainder meaningful then separate the one you want to invest from the one you want to use to meet necessary needs. If you do this continuously, before you know it, you would have had great investment. And so, you will not be afraid of the future.
If you want me to help you I can and I am serious here. All you do us tell me what you want to do or we thing it together and I will make it ready as prescribed but it will not be lesser than the worth of your money. That is if you don't know what to do or how to do it. You deserve to be on the hit level as long. But it takes investment to be. Invest in asset before liabilities.
Invest wisely.

Politics / Nigerian Youths,i,owe You Something by Kindoo: 1:04pm On Jan 25, 2017
My urge, is what I owe you.
I urge you to rise now, take your destiny in your hands as you have been motivated and make it a reality. Don't forget, nobody is responsible to you, work your future out.
Isn't it obvious, that these leaders are ready to eat your portion with theirs. They are not ready to be responsible enough to deliver unto you a better life. Must you pass through the same hardship they passed through. If they are good enough, they would created better life for you to be better, not same hardship.
It obvious now, you have to find your way and you should be reasonable enough to find it. I think they are the first obstacle to be dealt with and they have to give way. 'Out of the way of our dream'. Then you will begin to secure the future you should have. If they can't work out a future , then work it out. With them the future bleaks, they have attained a height of greatness so they care not about the coming future. They are already in theirs. They don't care what happen to you.  Should you watch them, they will kill all your sense of belonging and responsibility and raise you as armies of self destruction.
Youths, it is time to decide,  to accept the bleaking future, it carries nothing, it immortalise them in power, generation after generation.  Or to work out a future indeed, where you will have a nation you are proud of and your children can proudly say 'I AM A NIGERIAN I BLESS GOD'

Leadership without vision and good sense of responsibility is disaster. When disaster takes place, many are hurt, especially those who have no security, the masses who are exposed to just anything.
Youths, you must secure the future you want to see, before they make you feel you have no portion in this nation. An alien in your own land. You should act now.

Politics / Violence is what you do! by Kindoo: 11:10am On Jan 18, 2017
Violence by Iyayi is one book I read and I love. It portraits what violence really is and that is exactly what is in manifestation in our nation today. Violence everywhere.
Violence is not when the bomb sound, 'gbum' in an area, lives lost, blood flows, property gone, people running here and there, many groaning in pain.
Violence is not when the people move in peace, expressing their pain and the men in khaki come at them and do the shooting, then they repel or stand firm, three drops, four drops, five drops.
Violence is not the noise causing events and pain causing occasions.
Violence is doing things that push men to the wall, when they cannot move anymore, they turn back to act.
Violence is taking most, using the leftover left, to meet the need of many, which is never enough to meet their insatiable needs. Then they suffer, lack amidst plenty!
Violence is lacking responsibility to the all forms of needs of the people, they keep their cool on the 'life' founded on the pain of others. If it is not yours, you take what is for others, causing them pains, is pains.
Violence is keeping quiet when you should speak against the evil done by your people
Violence is when one destroy other because of what he believes or who he is.
Violence is hunger; an hungry man is an angry man.
Violence is unemployment, youths wasting their youthful strength on nothing, when inducted to evil, some go in and turn things upsidedown. Their idle hand become a workshop for just any.
Violence is going home and not knowing what to give your wife and children.
Violence is a child withdrawn from school for fund or not attempting at all yet it is their boiling desire.
Violence is depriving labourers their wages after labour, it is not paying pension nor paying gratuity.
Violence is a land polluted, the people cannot farm their land, cannot drink of their water and nothing seems done about it. Violence is lack of security, people cannot dwell at peace, losing their loved ones and their labours, look at people suffering because of lack of good covering, they get frustrated. Frustration is a joint mother of violence. Violence is depriving others what they should have because they are a people. Which people is above others?  Violence is what you people are doing. Eeeh! Violence, violence, v-i-o-l-e-n-c-e, is what you are doing. Yes, it is. Embezzling, eating with two hands and keeping full, overflowing, while others dig their hand into empty plates, that is if they have a plate. Violence is when a people think they are superior to others and doing all to rule forever. Violence is telling the people you will do what you cannot do, raising their hope and delivering nothing. Violence is what you do when you impose unworthy men on us to serve your interest. Violence is sending your kids off only to manipulate others to give their children for destructive use, they die sometimes and the souls of the givers are bitter. Violence is this half baked education that cannot sponsor the owner. Violence is our soldiers falling, facing this terror that can be avoided, they die in quantity. Their wives, children, families and we, are grieved at it. Violence is not the noise, it is what cause it. Violence had long been born before it shows it full face in destruction and death. Violence had being born since the time you thought of taking that 'cake' part and you took it. It affected, this, this and that, so something get up in them, either anger or frustration which lead to doing the unwanted

Violence in itself is the silent greedy act of men that deprive many and motivate them to act destructive.
Politics / Quit The Violence Pregnant Words And Action by Kindoo: 8:56am On Jan 11, 2017
I write to caution some of you like SULEIMAN OLAYEMI, who claimed Christianity is a joke and those in their right senses should not be one.  Nigerians who speak in his manner, lack sensitivity to their society  and the knowledge of the trouble which word spoken can cause. That is too much in a nation where you have many many Christians, those word from a man full of ignorance can cause enough violence to hold a nation still. Word spoken can either bring you gift or sword.
Nigerian please seek true knowledge about everything you don't understand in other people's religion, culture, tradition instead of making a ridicule of it. If you are a fanatic, be one responsibly, if you are zealous for your religion, be zealous responsibly. People who think they have the right of speech,  should be careful of what they say, lest they set the nation on fire by their uncontrolled mind and unbridle tongue. Many of these actions and words that are capable of making others feel irritated and aggressive is not worth taking or saying, be you anybody, for any reason at all, the youngest or the oldest, caution yourselves.
Such words spoken by Olayemi cannot be said to his Muslim brothers in the north and they will not slaughter, they will, you have mocked what they hold high, you have to go. Stop this wickedness (it can cost lives, if the other religion get provoked),  stop this careless attitude, quit your misuse of liberation. Don't try to make a joke of what others belief. Your belief is not a lie but it is not true to those who do not belief  in it, my religion is not a joke but is looks funny to those who do not belief in it.  Christianity is not a joke, it is a religion deeply rooted in mystery. You read the letter and the letter kills, only the spirit gives life. Please, whatever anybody belief is their business, their very business. Mind your mind don't say what you don't know, spiting others.
Our words and action has power to preserve or break out unity. Let every Nigeria take good caution. Speak with caution and love.

Politics / Re: Nigerians, We Need To Rise Urgently. by Kindoo: 11:02am On Jan 09, 2017
Nigeria can work out, our plight is created by us. The white man had gone, they left us within good future but mess everything with greed. If our leaders had united to raise every region and state to a good height, there will be no complain. We are better together. This greed, this selfishness is killing us.
