Literature / Wilderness Of Blind Love by Kindoo: 11:07am On Apr 25, 2018
I want total healing and I believe it will come through pouring out my mind. I had been fighting myself on what I called love stupidity. I havs been through the wilderness of love. Love they say is blind and you will ever need an eye opener to get free. I met Bade in school, at my 300 level he was in 500 level, studying law. He approached me and I gave in to him. We went on fine as we love each other. He graduated and he went to law school, we were still together, through the service year, he kept been faithful, so I was on my side, faithful. He got a good job through the help of his father. I was happy for him and I got my job two years after service.

The time came that he was talking of marriage and took me home. The parents welcomed me warmly. After I had hone, they told their son that I was not their choice so he should cut away from me immediately. He argued with them

JOSHUA
I love her dad, I love her, she is the one I want to marry

FATHER
Our choice will be your choice you can't marry a Yoruba lady.

JOSHUA
what is wrong with that?

MOTHER.
You need not to question your father on what is wrong with Yoruba lady. You can't marry her.
They insisted that Joshua should not marry me.

JOSHUA
Who should I marry then?

MOTHER
Ini, the daughter of my friend is well prepared for you. You know her, you two grew up together. So no problem on who to marry. I have the consent of the mother.

They stood their ground and made thing work out sharp sharp. Joshua told me that, before he could really bring people in to help change their decision, the invitation was out. Joshua came to me with a sad cat face, claiming he loved me. He said his love belong to me. He said he was only doing this to please his parent that I was the cockroach in his wardrobe, foolish enough I believed. He promise to be faithful as he was still the one for me. I believed.
The wedding took place, it was big one as the parents of the couples were rich. In all this he was still, telling me to be calm, he would find his way back to me, he loved me and there was no doubt about that. After nine months, his wife put to bed, hurray. This never stopped him from coming to me, through the nine months, he watched over my life, both morning and evening, he challenged me whenever he saw a guy with me and called me a betrayer. He came to me when his wife put to bed, assuring me that I was the one he was loving but he had to just please his parent. One thing led thing led to the other and I got pregnant for him. He received the news the with unhappiness.

Joshua
Babe, you need to abort this baby. It will be a great problem if my parent get to hear about this. They are capable of doing what I don't know.

Foolishly I agreed with him. I didn't even know why, I agrees with him, so I went for an abortion. He gave money and sent texts. After I had done that, we moved on with the bond relationship. He was all over me, you know, he was like monitoring me, he won't allow any man into my life. He asked questions here and then and I kept loving on
Two and half years after the delivery of his first son, his wife put to bed again. He still came to me to tell same. He loved me, he was mine, he just had to do that for his parent. He never said anything of his plans for me, he just believed one day, we would be free without walking out of the bondage. You will not believe I held on, after two kids, he still held my life with the chain of love and I never strived to be free, I just kept loving. He showered me with gifts, his love and a mean care. Escaping all tactics he uses on, I got pregnant for him again. I thought to myself 'This one would stay'. I got telling him with all joy buy he said same thing as first, he doesn't want to upset his parent, I have to go and abort the unborn heroes , his parent would be mad at him.
It was as if a veil was removed from my mind. Abort again, many thought ran through my mind, who did he think I am, a waste? The foolish one? A sweet side chic? Abortion again? I was angry, I was hurt, I was furious, from inside, I wouldn't bear it, what a mean man? Abortion again, nooo. The feeling that I had when he said abort, can only be known by feeling it yourself. I was shaking and boiling and told him to get out of my house, he was trying to come near but I shouted him out. 'Goooo, goooo, you wicked man, you are building your life and ruining mine'.

I gave a loud cry after he had gone, then I suddenly noticed a blood baby, the baby flowed out itself, I had no pity because I cannot imagine at that time carrying the baby of a mean man. I allowed him to flowed out of my life with the blood flow, I will not be needing him. When I got myself calm, I went in, cleaned up then drove to the hospital, for the doctor to help out, he did his work and I was certified health, no damage.

After that I began to fight my self. How can I be so stupid, how can I let a man take much advantage of me this much, did he use jax on me or what? He had kept me from those that were ready to marry me. I kept abusing myself for being a mumu, a modern mumu. Love drunkard, blind lover, yeye gerl. Upon all the level I claimed, I could not discern good and bad. It was painful me. I saw myself as a person so stupid. I decided to help my self, So, I changed my apartment, changed so many things that could draw us near, he still gave a call, came to my office but I told him, to leave me alone or I will go and tell his parent. I gave him no chance any more. My 'mumu don do' He left and went back to his wife. I stayed alone, freed, I felt free, I could move to where I liked and not be monitored by any, I could greet friends and cheer up without fear of questions. I can now wink back at the guys that wink at me.
One has been winking now, he also smile with style, but I think I need time to be sure I won't be foolish again or what do you think?

Literature / What Has Been Your Greatest Challenge As A Writer? by Kindoo: 10:46am On Apr 18, 2018
Many think art is fun, it's weak, it 's nothing tough. To sing, dance, act, write... I doubt that. Art is life and life is a serious business. You should know so by now, if you are able to read this.

If you tell someone you are a writer, they think what you are doing is something cheap. 'Just to write. Anybody can write'
They don't think about you, giving an idea a shape that won't plagiarise another person's idea. Giving an idea that does not exist a real life touch that will get people seated for hours, reading and having fun.

They don't think of joining words together to have a meaningful thought. That takes a lot of thinking, asking, sometime reading and researching.

They don't think about the power to sustain your story in chronological order without a flop. All they love to do is to gulp it down, smiling.

They don't think about editing your work to make it presentable. Putting the punctuation marks in the right places, using the correct class of words. Making sure every sentence, clause, phrase and words are correct. That I think is the most tasking. You have to do it again and again, sometimes, you pay others to help you out.
The proofreading which one key stage every reader must go through, because it will give you the assurance that your work is done and you are good to publish.

All these do not take an hour, some time some write a work for months, making sure they are giving the best. Who says writing is cheap? let them write for the world to see(Smiles).

Another is getting your work to the right readers and be accepted. Sometimes, a work you have really put in mental energy and more, do not impress readers.

What of the challenge that comes with publishing your work, the rejection and other pranks that might come with making good sales. Thank God for E-publishing platforms that make publishing much easier.

Share with us, what has been your greatest challenge as a writer .

Religion / In Case You Have A Threatening Past, Read This. by Kindoo: 10:05am On Apr 18, 2018
Philippians 3: 13-14
13: Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forth unto those things which are before,
14: I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus

Take time to meditate on this scripture.
The future you have in Christ worth much more than the past you have. Don't allow those things to eat you up anymore. Thank God for the good future he has for you, renew your mind in his words and go get the things he has for you.

You are a stupid young lady.
Literature / 'The Lady Next My Door' by Kindoo: 11:11am On Apr 13, 2018
Ten things are happening in this world. You think ten is too few, then million things. Women, women, women, I repeat the third time, if you love your husbands as I love my boyfriend, be ready for a battle without spare and arrow. I will tell you what I am seeing around here, so you will know how to calculate, strategize, make plans and win lest your husband return to you one day, with empty purse and account.
The lady next my door is a professional 'runs' girl, when I mean professional, I mean she takes 'handling' men as her work and she is good at it. She runs things, things don't run her. This lady is not from Nigeria here, she is from one of the neighboring countries, I won't mention it specifically. Her name is known by all as Vivian. She is moderate in most things, not too tall, not too short, not too fat not too thin, not too beautiful not too ugly but intelligent and hard working.
I got to know some of her moves by chatting with her. I know it is wrong to tell of what someone told me to the world but I need help someone out there. Vivian is very bright and 'shareful' lady. I saw and investigated the rest. She wanted me to join her clique, so she told me many things but I declined because I love my boyfriend.
She is a all-round girl. What she does is to let me say sell her body and service. Vivian takes her time to invest in this. Her one bedroom flat is like a five star. When you go in, you are in another world. First, is was neat to heaven. You can't get into her house and feel or touch dirt, no, she was good at keeping every where clean. The interior decoration is ever excellent, she sometimes combine her colours but most times, she call for a professional service. She changes her decor from time to time. Vivian loves flower so she uses both ready made and fresh flowers. Her room is always well decorated, she handles that herself. On her wall, she has provocative posters, and some other provocative dolls and toys, every where she thought it is needed. That is the very power place for clients, who needed her service in her own house. You can't get to the room and not be tempted even if you are most disciplined. Well you must be up-to something before you could enter there. It is the most reserved place in the house. The living room is enough for those not looking for something else. She had the mindset of giving her client the best in the house, so she made all things cool.
Her dressing is super. Vivian will never dress in a way that is not attractive. This is one of her brands. Anywhere, anywhere, even to church because she is a Christian, she wears attractive dresses; combine power colours, making guys look away from what they are doing when she comes around; soft distraction. When her clients are coming into her house, she knows what to do to make them get their heart desires; what they come seek from her. Viv knows what works for each client, she knows what to wear to get them out of emotional control. She knows how to do it. It is her job.
Vivian isn't ready to snatch your husband, but she would take all the money and drain him, then move on to the next. She would help him forget home to wake and sleep in hers pending the time all will be transferred, wealth transfer on the vibe of irresponsible emotion. There is no kind of food she does not know how to cook, in real and kind, so the man might not think of home you know. She takes time to study how to prepare food, mouth watery meals that would blow men off their right decision; and you know some men love food, so it is a good good-bye home for now. If your husband packs home away from home, he won't have problem with food. He will be fine. Don't think your skill of cooking is enough to secure your man, there are people daily learning on how to cook to keep him to their side in other to drain him.
Vivian goes to the internet to do mostly two things. The first is to get a way to improve her biznes, the second is to show her product to people of high profile. One of the things she searches for on the net is the adult world update. Any new style or trick? She gets it before others and tries it out with her well appreciated clients. I tell you, you can't be innocent with Viv. She is too loaded to be innocent. She told me of a drug she uses that keeps her energy high, so as the client wants it, she gives it in styles, tricks and times. Most time fun for her and the other party. With this she would make any man to vow a come back. Many of them do. Men with big cars and huge purse. If your husband is not in this category, you need not worry.
Another thing she does well is to accompany men to trips and functions, this has taken her to few countries. She is a professional, who would not steal or drug clients to cart away with their goods or money. Once you bargain with her and you pay in advance, she would offer you a clean service just like any wife would do in humility and fun. Hmm! This lady is the dangerous type. She can be more humble than you, who claimed that you had a court wedding with with him. And you know humility turns men on, they love lord worship.

We were talking one day, when she repeated her word, 'Quit this your job and join me, you will make it in a week, the salary you wait for in a month or two'. I responded, 'Me I no dey do o, I love my boyfriend' I can't betray my conscience. I tell you one funny thing, whenever my boyfriend come to my house, I always try to get him engaged to 'protect' him, lest her rhythmic body make a strange sound in his mind. I trust him sha but I don't have to risk it. Vivian laughs at me for staying hooked with a working class like me, not a senator, not an exporter and importer, not a high ranked soldier, he does not have oils bloc. I stay with my one and only, lest I hurt my self with covetousness, he has been a good one to me. One of Viv client had met me one day, I was outside with my friends, they came for the weekend. He said hello to us and w e greeted him as normal. He went into her apartment, few minutes later, he came out with Viv and asked that we go jolling together in a nearby park. It was fun and the most lovely fun of all time, we talked, chat loudly, ate and drank as if we were all friends. My part was cut shot when Bf called that he was on a street away from my house. I quickly excused myself and ran home to put things in order. If he got to know, I was rocking on Viv client's money, he would almost kill himself, shouting and feeling sad and go away for days. He said, he was doing extra work to be able to take care of me, he claimed that he loved me and he was praying for blessing to do what he had in heart for me, you know that kind thing, large dream, small money with big love sha. One thing I love about Bf is his sincerity, he was living to it, he didn't inform me that he would be coming, I thought, why and I got to know when he gave a nice park to me. Through Viv, the man still packaged something for me as an appreciation that we made his day. I took the money and spent it on thing my salary could afford, leaving no room for suspicion.
Viv, do pray, so don't think I will contend with prayer alone. Viv is a communicant, she takes communion and she is regular in church if she was not on a trip or have in house visitor. She knows the rosary and says it. She sometimes have night prayers, praying for blessing and bigger client that would turn her life around. Hmm! Aside this, she had just one man, a Yoruba man that knows the leaves and herb like water. She reward him greatly and he works for her greatly as well. She has promise to introduce me to the man but I reject it, the God of my fathers, is still alive, he would bless me, he would also bless my Bf too. All this and more she does to keep her work, she is still at work, I am just giving you the talk to know that, you need extra work, to win you have to be better. She advances everyday to get fresh and richer client especially younger preys, who seemed to have no dream.
I have gotten my self into more works to save me from her ever attractive visitors. If not for this love in my heart, I would have gone with one who smiled at me and there seemed to be reflection of dollars on his teeth.
Family / Re: Fathers Should Also Be Appreciated Like Mothers by Kindoo: 9:47am On Apr 10, 2018
There are so many things that are not automatic.
In some homes, the mother practically give her 'life' to see the children prosper while the father follow side chics or drink bear and party away.
You as the author, you will appreciate the one who give most and best to you. You may be writing base on your background, where fathers and mother jointly contribute to the life of the child but in many homes it is not like that.

Literature / "Monkey Of Different Colour" A Poem From Wurastories by Kindoo: 8:43am On Apr 02, 2018
Because I have dark skin,
They call me black.
Does it make me a dark hearted being?
Evil is what makes a dark heart
I am not dark hearted, my land is no heart of darkness.

Because I have dark skin,
That call me monkey
Does my black skin make me an animal?
Animals are lower creatures by the master maker
I am no monkey, I am a human being.

If you call me monkey because I am black, that is what I call, heart of darkness.
In as much I am equal being, then you are monkey of different colour.
But, I do not agree to be regard as an animal.
So I declare without reservation, I am a human of value per excellent.
I am a living spirit, with soul in a dark skinned body.

Because I have dark skin
You look down on me.
Does my heritage make me inferior?
Inferiority is a state of mind.
I am not inferior, neither are you superior.

Because of I am dark skinned
You perpetually want to make me a slave.
Does my dark skin reduce my worth and value?
No blame is on you, it is of those who have not outgrown slavery, steering this ship I am in.
I am a son, slaves are not born here.

Literature / "My Father's Will" A Story From Wurastories by Kindoo: 9:43am On Mar 31, 2018
I was born with silver spoon but my father tried as much as possible to make us strong and independent. When we were growing up, he purposely made us pass through some tough times unlike other rich men's children, who had it all fun growing up. When I graduated from a university in Nigeria and I had served the nation, I had a compulsory one year serving time in one of my father's company, after which he sent me abroad for my master degree. He invited me back home when I was through and built my own company of choice for me based my profession, civil engineer, just as he did for my older and younger siblings. He pumped good money into it and set it up fine; giving me the best for a start.
I was happy but not careful,  I didn't  handle it well. I was living the life of a big man's son. Whenever I had issues in my company which was principally ran by my employees, I went to my father, who would rebuke me and help me. I was not careful to build that which he had given to me, I did not strive to make it work talk less of taking it to higher level. I have a life, so I was living the best of it to me, mon jaye ori mi. Even when I got married, I was still living my life, running to my father whenever anything went wrong, mostly when there was no money in the pocket to rock, to flex and even flirt.
At the age of seventy five, my father died, I was 42 years by then. Oh I was sad, he had been of a great help to me. He was a good disciplinarian and a loving father. May his soul rest in peace, Amen! My father had great wealth, he had investment in different sectors and more than one vibrant companies, I was expecting a good chunk of his wealth after death, I tell you that was one reason I never took my life serious, I believed no matter what,  something will always come from him, when alive or in death. He was given a befitting burial amidst praises, people of honour were well present and represented.
After the burial, the lawyer came to read the will. He was a trusted  lawyer, so non of us could doubt it. All written there, was written by my father and he signed. The lawyer read it all out and all of us were surprised. My father willed all he had to charity. He had been doing much of that while alive and he stated in his will, 'Giving all to them was where it would matter most'.  He clearly stated that, he had given us enough to stand. To tell the truth, he really gave us when he was here. There was nothing we desired and it was in his capacity that he spared. My father gave my mother the supervision of his companies with 10 per cent for her up keep.  My eyes cleared, all my hope on that was dashed, I cannot claim that my father did not established us all and did not give us his support when he was alive.
Reality dawn on me. I had no option, than to face my life now,  squarely. It was tough, I have not been standing all the year long, I had always relied on my father. As at now, I am struggling with my finances, my company  is not at it best because I had treated it with levity. It had been tough for me and no father to run to. My mother could not give much support, she was not all buoyant for my demands. Life had not been all top since then. I had to adjust by force, embracing many virtues I had neglect on my way growing, but it seems I had been lost. I have the regret of not embracing opportunities then,  I would have being better for it if I  believe in the future and also believe  that, what you work for is the surest.
All is not lost,  his good name still open doors, on this I  climb  working like German machine to meet up the standard I life I had before also I want to give my children a sure future just as my father gave me.

APC should thread softly, being in power is not for ever. If you hurt PDP badly now they will make you a mockery latter, you won't be there forever. Just make sure, your men are spotless.
APC is childish with the way they do things
Politics / Re: We Will Keep Talking About Corruption Under Jonathan – Osinbajo, Tinubu by Kindoo: 8:29pm On Mar 29, 2018
You so much focus on the past because you have no future to offer.
You said "if you don't talk about it, what will you talk about"
My view on this is that you are clueless. There are so many things to talk about other than continuous echo of past misdeed.
Probe the guilty (that is if you are not guilty) and move on.

Celebrities / Re: Tboss Reacts To Her Father, Vincent Idowu's Curse On Man That Would Marry Her by Kindoo: 9:15pm On Mar 26, 2018
If Mr Idowu is a worthy father, no matter what, he should not have curse his children. It tells a lot about him. Has he not curse his own soul? He has curse the fruit of his loins.
No matter what don't curse your children.
By the blood of Jesus and mercy of God, the curse will not stand.

Fathers limit your anger.

Literature / Our Unity, Our Victory - A Story From Wurastories by Kindoo: 10:49am On Mar 21, 2018
We need to be a unit for political success)

Things had always been apart in the nation of my birth, Venea, no center to hold. People always go their ways, based on countless tribe, innumerable religion groups, over a hundred political party and still counting, classes and belief. We lived under this plague of division and we never knew. People saw reasons to contradict every action based on tribe, religion or any of these things that separated us. Under this division, the people of Venea had always suffer. The political  party that rule had always taken advantage of the disunity and did things in the way they pleased. The poverty state  of the people had ever been explored  by the men in power to get back to power. When the election comes,  they give out and the purse would be filled again, then the people forget their sorrow; a temporal comfort. Reality then will dawn on them when the ones seeking for power got there, they will not even do for the people what was their right, talk less of feeding their lean purses. Everything turns again and again in favour of the men in power, they that rotate  the power in a circular form.
The suffering got to the neck,  when it came like this, it knows no party,  tribe,  religion. Every, every, suffered the lack and complain. The hearts pondered 'What shall we do to be safe' One government go, another government come,  the lot of the people remain the same. Isn't it burdensome? Isn't it yokey? Isn't it breaking? A land so rich yet the people were poor. If I tell you of the wealth of Venea,  you will think of me a king before you see me in my hope against hope garment, designed with frustration, hunger and tears. Faith kept the people going.' Life cannot continue like this', so the people planned a war. We must get rid of poverty, they came out with spear and arrow but they could not find it. To the mountain,  to the valley, it could not be found. They tried, on another time to destroy  this frustration, this unhappiness, the joblessness killing our youth,  the plague plaguing our loved ones, which day do we not weep? Which day do we mourn? We lived terror,  we dwelt dread, they could not find them. When it seemed there was no way, we went into the hole, but right in there we burn, this hunger,  this jobless, this destruction, this ignorance, these thing that were wrong with us. We never looked at what we were doing wrong, we were looking out for extended forces who were products of what was wrong with us. Was there anything really wrong,  all that separated us blinded us. The religious, the tribe, the class and more. When one speak against a vice,  we say he or she speaks because he was not of same tribe or religion. The ones called poor were never heard,  they usually gather under trees and shades to air their pain that didn't count, to burn the pain no one feels.
So one day, we came to a realization, what causes our woes? There were so many places we were together, there we suffer most. Though we sing in church, we laugh at work but right on the inside, we mourn our pain. We found that our division based on this thing that count less. Through it, we had chosen incompetent leaders,  we had made wrong decisions, we had kill and destroyed one another. We began to trace our way out of this,  we found out that, our division  was the plague and our togetherness was the key to the way out of this. What works outside unity? I don't know one. Even the body, soul and spirit  must be one, if one must scale the heights. Then we speak the news, togetherness, a unit. That is the way. Some were slow to learn,  some tried to argue,  but majority got the message.
Election came again,  different party brought their men, many of them were those people who had served at their state levels and they were best described, failures with the opportunity that avail to them and what they did with them.  Same people who had served themselves than the people, who had done things that favour them and put the people last. Every one said, no. We want this young man, who had proved that he worth the place by his tireless service to humanity. More than any other, he had given to the nation. Seeing well at all levels. The political parties tried to play thier tricks and it failed. Money were freely sprayed on the street but the future cannot be bought.  Some of them cried,  wailed,  lied,  jumped, manipulate and more but the people did not care about waiting to watch or hear those who don't have what to say; they are so rooted in life that there words had become empty noise. Every where they went they met same thought. Every where we went,  we spread the gospel, stand firm.  When they ask us,  what of if he failed,  we tell them,  we will recall. So we won.

Hurray!  Hurray!! Hurray!!!

We won, we had peace, we had light,  we had security,  every life count. Though there were things that happened beyond control but it was  far apart what we had being experiencing, we had good health care system, the youth were given chance to express themselves, we became happy nation and more. He did not fail. Our unity gave us victory and now, we no longer care what you are, when choosing a leader,  we just ensure we choose right.

The two both of you are birds of same feather.

what is the relevance of Ojudu to Ekiti that he is coming to rule?
I hate it when people of no relevance try to rule the people. Most of them are just ambitious, they are clueless on what it means to govern.

Ojudu should produce the evidence of murder allegation if not, that should be taken up against him.
Literature / From A Father's View V: I Stopped Yelling. by Kindoo: 10:24am On Mar 14, 2018
(Little things that count: Family)

Before now, I had the mindset that, to be a strong father, I have to yell on kids, beat them until they have marks on body, when correcting them. I did this continuously until I found out that, my kids were becoming fearful in nature, not friendly with me; I was much of a scary father, that the kids run in whenever they heard my horn. They bolt in whenever I am in and behind me, I heard of their aggression. It was unpleasing to me,  why were these kids like this? Then I stumble on a short work that spoke on temperament and child raising. The way we behaved as parents and how it affects our children. I found  myself guilty, my yelling at the kids made them cold towards me, aggressive to others. They were really not expressing themselves the right way. Do I hate them? No, just wanted to prove I was capable of raising them(with strong hand).

I try hard to change. This is how I did it,  I replaced  yelling with making them know what they did, why it is wrong and the reason not to do it again. I also made them know them that, whenever they do it, I will punish with beating,  deprivations(No games,  no watching of favorite show, no snacks from work, work in the garden alone). This worked more than yelling at the kids and not making them to deeply know why I am yelling at them.

It worked for me,  I yelled less, the kids seemed to become wiser, they try as much not to keep doing things they felt were out of reason. I told  them.  'Before you do it, think, is it reasonable or not. How will it affect the family, my parents, my siblings, my friends?  It guided their actions. Another observation, was they became ease and free,  they played like other children at home,  we shared life and I can openly say,  I enjoyed it. It was during  this new time, I found out my kids had different gifts, one was an engineer by gift, he just love anything  machine and working on them. Another would run the whole house in minute and panted for more. My daughter has taken after my mother, she loves buying and selling. I decided with my wife that, we will help them built these gifts to great height. With what I saw as the reaction of the children to our decision,  is one of the highest thing you can do for them, build their passion and dream.
