How old are you if I may ask? What kind of relationship is this? Young boys of these days are such nicompoops. quote author=TRUTHISLIFEE post=102211829]So I met this girl around my area and I kind of liked her. When I approached her, she was playing hard to get. After a long while, she told me that the only condition for her to date me is if I will not interfere in her relationship as she has been engaged, and that I will let her go peacefully anytime she gets married. It was a difficult one for me but I gave her my word not to interfere in her relationship and to let her go. Even my elder brother warned me not to spoil that relationship. We started making out and I kept my word of not interfering in her relationship. Most times we are together and the guy calls, I tell her to pick his call, if their conversation is getting longer, I will simply excuse myself from the scene to allow her talk with her guy freely. There was a time an old acquaintance of hers showed up and asked her out, She lied to me unknowing to her I was tracing her to the guy's house. When they entered, I called her on phone to enjoy herself that I know where she is. I also let her know that I pity her man as I have nothing to loose in this whole thing/ Fast forward to today, she came to my house and asked me my plans for her, I told her I don't understand as she is engaged. She told me to forget the engagement that I should not use it as an excuse. I told her I will keep to my word and she left angrily. since she got home she has been calling me to agree to marry her. Make UNA see me see wahala.
|

Crypto currency is something many don't understand how volatile it is. When will you learn that there's no free and easy money. If you had invested in yourself on a skill that would endure for as long as you live that would have been the best. Use your brain and stay away from gambling and crypto. |
Focus on lab tech ..programming is good but the pace it's running is something else. You have to keep updating your ability on IT. Programming or IT have been saturated like wise most jobs.. In the future or even now you might consider studying abroad and focus on Lab tech. It's one of the high paying jobs abroad. Infact anything in medical line. It's upto you to choose but I would encourage you to focus your energy on lab tech. One day you might get offer abroad could be in middle east, even some west African and African countries are searching for lab techs. quote author=bercarray post=101785235]Hello nairalanders, I'm working currently as a laboratory technician, but my parents wants me to further more for medical laboratory science course in university. Seeing the way technology is moving, I've decided to go into IT, which is the reason i want to use the money I'm supposed to use to study MLS to go into programming, instead of using 5yrs studying MLS, that's even if ASUU did not extend it to 6 or 7years, i want to dedicate this 5-6yrs of my life into programming( web development and other parts of programming maybe application software development also). I've also decided to go to teach myself first online, and later go to IT school for certificate and meeting with other IT gurus sake so as to gain from them. So is programming worth sacrificing this career for? Please advise.
|

How would you know if they were giving the vaccine and not switched? The negative effect of this vaccine will take some time to show. Don't be deceived its about control. Most don't need this stuff. Just wait don't rush and observe. |
XshegzzyeeiX:In a sensible and compassionate environment this shouldn't be happening this way. I tell you don't sign anything with anybody without knowing every details of the job. There are other things you may not like on that job. It's not as sweet or bling bling as he has told you. Don't enslave yourself and future for a temporary delay. Know more details about this job. Hotel, restaurant, type of customers, cleaning, making beds, washing toilets , other bonuses etc People prey on youth's desperation to survive but still use your brains. You may regret it if you don't stand from point of strength. |

It's really challenging to comment on this issue which isn't any issues. Your wife, wife, wife wore your clothes and you are fuming ? You have told her not to. I don't know what goes on in your domain but from what you have said, you are such a spoilt, egoist and ignoramus. You don't know that when you marry to a woman that you are one in everything. Please get off here and grow up. There are many things to talk about not my SHIRT...are you insane ? Crazy young mentally deranged boys around complaining. Balloney ! |
Macsjebs:Informative...though the wise men were astrologers, magicians etc Not wise per se. Abraham sent his concubines children to the east. They will one day return to acknowledge and worship the seed of Abraham. So they returned from the east with their entourage. Historically they didn't meet an infant or baby Christ Jesus as depicted by pictures but as a child grown almost as at the age of Isaac son of Abraham. |
Ignorance is one of the shameful thing to get in contact with. He has zeal but without knowledge . Then all the people that wears leggings, pants, trousers abroad are crazy right? In winter and spring you need to wear pants, infact it's necessary over here. You don't wear skirt in winter or else you freeze to death and that means stupidity. Everyone should dress modestly whether pants or not. quote author=EBMedia post=97111341]"If You're Still Wearing Trouser, Tights & Leggings, Your Chance's Of Getting To Heaven Is Zero" - Nigerian Evangelist Tells Ladies Nigerian evangelist, Victor Edet, says ladies who wear trousers and leggings have zero chances of getting to heaven, IgbereTV reports. He stated this on his Facebook page. He wrote; https://www.facebook.com/100006696273097/posts/2944189135814267/?app=fbl
|
mrex911:First you have to admit to Hod that you have sinned and that masturbation is sin. Forget what many says that it's not evil. Remember it starts from unclean thoughts in your heart. Start being serious with your personal relationship with God by praying, absorbing yourself with the words of God in the bible. Then always call upon the Holyspirit to help you walk in the spirit daily. Stay away from any trigger of such thoughts in you . Devil is the prince of the air. Always use this prayer " Lord help me to mortify every deeds of the flesh in me daily" Self discipline comes in too. It may take time but you will surely overcome. Remember many Christians are going through the same struggles. Trust the Holyspirit. |
olayanju22:You don't quite understand what's happening..this is not about Trump, Biden, Democrats or Republicans. Rather it's the deep state. Many do not get it. Election is like illusion. Trump is 10 steps ahead of the corrupt leftists. They got caught now they are going to be paying the price!! |
Omooba77:Listening to CNN is like listening to China Network News. They don't tell about the current stuffs happening now. Media has chosen Biden not the electorate. Trump is a smart shrewd businessman. He set a trap and they Democrats fell into it. The whole world is going to be surprised when everything heads to supreme court. America is not Nigeria. |
Deola2020:Tell your friend to go to his cities immigration office and explain his condition and apply for visa extension. Then he can have enough time to buy another ticket back home. Covid 19 has caused a lot of havoc so they would understand and extend his visa. Don't believe that transit visa thing ,he's definitely trying to get off the airport and run off not coming back. I am just guessing but from experience transit visa is not necessary for him to return home. |
Deola2020:What kind of question is this? Even a lay man should know that you or your friend do not understand travel stuffs or you aren't truthful. Tell your friend to find another airline like Qatar, Ethiopia, Ethihad etc You don't need any transit visa for any airline except some exclusive countries like America. Transit visa has categories which most liked by many is the A type that could allow you get into the city or out of the airport. This way many just abscond or run off in that country and not return. Many countries knows this and have put restrictions on issuance of such to especially Nigerians. The other is that you don't need any visa to stay in the airport. You just wait in the airport for the next connecting flight to your final destination. Why would he buy tickets without knowing this information. He can come back with most flights or raise money for him and buy another ticket. Your friend isn't telling the truth or he's ignorance of travel processes or he wants to abscond in Hongkong. |
CaptainZubi:In most cases, there's a reason for the fatigue. It might be allergic rhinitis, anemia, depression, fibromyalgia, chronic kidney disease, liver disease, lung disease (COPD), or some other health condition. If that's the case, then go and see a specialist doctor. Do it quickly because might be kidney, diabetes or liver. |
ebuka10box:Brother well many never listened and they came over then it's like an illusion of all bling bling appearances they saw on movies,TV and heard. You can be better off if you are coming to study, on invitations from a company to work . If not 20 years ago isn't now, countries have closed down on illegal immigration completely. Deportation starts from airport nowadays. Think twice before leaving Nigeria. |
Listen and listen very carefully as one with almost 20 years experience living abroad. 1. Your Visa is for visiting or tourism not for working or obtaining a job. 2. You can't find anyone to help you once your visa expires. 3. You would be detained or jailed till you pay for all the penalties for illegal residency. 4. The visa means go, look and return not for hustling. 5. Forget anyone that tells you pray bla bla bla for many have done that and regretted it. Laws are upholding in every country especially immigration laws. Don't use Nigeria mentality to this. It doesn't work that way. Stay back in Nigeria and plan ahead, travel and return and see what, how it's happening there ,then return and weigh your options. If not just forfeit your visa and money and save the money for your ticket. Countries are super strict concerning immigration and illegal migrants . God do not help those that break the laws instituted by him. ebuka10box: |
Jones4190:You don't have to be a Christian to be used by God. |
chieyine:Are we not aware that vatican is the center of evil ran by paedophiles and full of idols. Where a man claims to be God to forgive sin, the second commandment have been ignored and removed to suit their own Romish agenda for the last days. |
Hello Nairalander, I really need advice concerning making a choice between the two jobs before me. My family members are divided over which job I should choose. I'm working in a highbrow secondary school and my start up salary was N75,000. After three years, my salary is now N96,000.00. I just got a lecturing job with a private university and my gross salary according to the appointment letter is N88,000.00. My father wants me to continue with my teaching in the secondary school but my mother and fiancee are pressuring me to write acceptance letter to the university and accept the offer. There's no time, both the university and the secondary school will be resuming on 12/10/2020 and I have to make a choice between now and Thursday. My fiancee is already calling herself "wife of a lecturer" and threatening that she will quit the relationship if I did not accept the university offer. My mind is in the secondary school because there is free lunch and N150,000.00 housing allowance per year, but the university doesn't give lunch and housing allowance. Should I go and become Mr. Lecturer and sacrifice my secondary school benefits?
Don't be stupid please stay in the secondary school. Are you insane ? |
ogododo:Dear President it seems not fit to compare the oil prices of countries that have stable ,efficient and progressive society and infrastructures. In Nigeria there are lack of almost basic infrastructures. There's no power /energy to power our industries, homes and offices. There's no functional Schools, Hospitals are zero to nothing, Transportation is zero, security is dead. Nothing could be said about our country besides negative things, our politicians are morally constipated morons. They only care about looting and sharing our commonwealth. As the word of God says " The produce of the land is for all" I can't believe that you are comparing nations like Saudi Arabia and Nigeria. This is a disgusting comparison with degradable imagination. |
Liftkid:Listen carefully...I have been away from Nigeria for almost 20 years not in Africa. Listen and listen. 1. Do not ever listen to all these young boys with no experience here. 2. Throw away such idea from the window 3. What's your qualifications ? Any skills? 4. You don't just fly into a country and expect everyone to greet you with smiling faces. 5. You can't work without invitations through employment by an employer. 6. You would be illegal to work and you wouldn't find any job without proper working permits. 7. Your amount of money is just money for BREAKFAST abroad. 8. Where are you going to stay? No one would agree to house an illegal immigrant. 9. Stay in Nigeria, save more or find any business that would increase your money. 10. Covid 19 have changed a lot of immigration policies. Why kill yourself early and make your kids fatherless and wife widow. 11. Africa is the next and last frontier. I suggest people to migrate to African countries legally. 12. Botswana, Malawi, Namibia, Rwanda etc .find their requirements for setting business there and then decide. All these I want to get out of naija sounds disgusting and ridiculous. Without information you will commit suicide. Stay away from abroad illegally, infact they would deport you from airport. This is an advice from me. |
Please clear your conscience and tell him. we need to clean up the mess Nigerians have put us into. Write your name in his good books. quote author=ALEX182 post=92757994]So I have this American patient who I recently came across. He's a fat dude who is like in his late 40s but has a very jolly and likeable character. I introduced myself and we got talking afterwards. After a while of chitchat, he asked me where I was from. I told him to take a guess and he said said, you sound like you're Nigerian. I told him (regrettably) that I was Nigerian. He started smiling and told me that he had a Nigerian girlfriend and that we both had similar accents. He then started telling me recent occurrences that had befallen his girlfriend in Nigeria. He said the lastest story was that she was in Abuja and as she was on her way to the airport in a taxi, the taxi had an accident and she was seriously injured and had to be rushed to the hospital. He said that the hospital demanded money before treatment started and he had to hustle about $4000 and send to her in order for treatment to start. He said that after a week of her being in the hospital, they wanted to discharge her despite her still being in pain. Because she had exhausted all the $4000 on treatment, he said the hospital had threatened to discharge her on the streets and he was trying to borrow more money to see if he could send it to her so they could continue with her treatments. He furthermore told me that the girlfriend said that she was a Nigerian American citizen who was currently stuck in Nigeria due to her passport having expired and also due to Covid lockdown at airports in Nigeria. He said she had asked him for $300 to renew her US passport from American embassy in Nigeria. Another thing that he told me was that just before covid struck, there was a similar pandemic which happened in Nigeria early this year and that his girlfriend had contracted the disease and he had to send her $2000 for treatment. Right now he said he's broke but is waiting for like $2000 disability check from the US government next week which he will send to her as soon as the money clears. As he was telling me this tale, I was so angry with Nigerians and how they take advantage of people in love to scam them. I wanted to swear for the scammers ![]() I'm at a dilemma here. Do I tell him that he's being scammed by Nigerians or do I continue to be professional and just ignore it. Because I don't want him to think I'm involved with it because these oyinbo people can turn everything on your head and accuse you that is your people in conjunction with you that are scamming him. They are that crazy. The good part of me wants to help him but I'm hesitant that it may turn out bad for me. Please matured responses.
|
