It just amazes me, the entire mentality. No one prays for misfortune in life not even the people that it happens to. So I don't see how the girls can be comfortable depending on another human being for their existence without asking themselves questions like?
1) If this man kicks the bucket, how do I survive? If there are kids involved, How do I provide for them?

2) If the man decides to leave, where does that leave me? You can't force someone to give what they don't want to give whether you feel entitled to it or not. It's just that, a sense of entitlement. The only thing you have full control and access to are the thing you work for, you don't need to ask yourself permission or wait, you just do as and when and to the extent you are capable of. That's responsibility, what it means to be an adult and not a child, personal responsibility for your own.

The funny thing is that, Nigeria is the last place where women should have this mentality because when relationships/unions breakdown, the law doesn't really afford any form of protection. In the west where there is adequate protection in such instances, women are still active economically and do not such subscribe overly to such a mindset anymore.

If any woman wants to be in a relationship with any man and be forming independent and getting her stuff herself, it's her own business...No woman should come online and tell other women how to act in their relationships..If the guy isn't tired of giving, why drink panadol for another woman's headache.


As long as a man is in a relationship with any lady, it's part of his responsibility to take care of that lady, the lady
