netpro: Muhammadu Buhari is the President of Nigeria. Just as Jonathan, Yar'Adua and others before them. If you can't get passed that, then you are unpatriotic.
Hate him or like him, fact remains - Buhari is the President of Nigeria. Oga commot spit wet dey draw for your mouth. No one is disputing the fact that he is the President (after all we no get choice for now). I was only responding to your "Our beloved President" quote. If he is beloved, there won't be a protest about his government in the country presently. Also, keep deceiving yourself that foreign hands are involved. Don't fight for your right to get a better future that will make your children not ask themselves "where my papa dey when people they go " foreign" land. |
Politics › Re: Revolution Now: Northern Group Pulls Out, Says Action Sponsored By Foreigners by kinglee007(m): 10:49am On Aug 05, 2019 |
The Revolution is against the BAD GOVERNANCE and not against ETHNICITY. Everybody is tired of things getting worse by the second and no eyebrows raised to the sufferings. Most of the people posting here are either not in the country presently or have one or two benefactor in the present government. They will be proud that Seun made here a faceless forum. Why have you not asked yourselves, why the President does not make a public speech to address the people he is serving, that voted him into power when there is a case of pandemonium in the country? And why has he not made any public statement "BY HIMSELF" (and not with the help of a special assistant) when there is a cry of herdsmen attack? Why? And you are here blaming foreign hands for the protest. You think say people never tire? Like I said before, most of the people typing foreign hands are involved are either not in the country presently or have a benefactor in the present government and will quickly turn a blind eye to ensure that food no commot from him mouth. |
Politics › Re: Is Sowore Protest A CIA Clandestine Operation? by kinglee007(m): 10:36am On Aug 05, 2019 |
netpro: Over the decades the United States of America through the CIA have conducted many covert operation that are geared to maintain America's grip on nations around the world.
Once they destabilise a region through clandestine secret activities, the US government will officially step in as arbitrators to help negotiate and enforce peace.
The Defence industries will have a filled day selling arms to the US Government and both sides of the conflict.
Whenever United States do not have a leadership that is not worshipping and kissing up to them, they simply engineer a process that will lead to forceful regime change by sponsoring an uprising, if squeezing the balls of the leadership of the country does not work.
It is a known fact that our beloved President Muhammadu Buhari is not a kissass. The United States don't like us. We are borrowing from them. Our security situation is relatively curtailed, so we are not in desperate need to buy weapons. We have a cordial economic partnership with China. We are not engaging the services of over priced US consultants. All these does not seat well with the present US administration.
A destabilised Nigeria will help United States of America to make a killing in huge profit, strengthen their footing in Africa, halt Chinese encroachment in Africa.
Whether directly or not, Sowore the New Yorker is making himself a tool for destabilisation.
My opinion - NETPRO Your beloved president? Can't it just be "our president"? You just shot yourself in the ass by telling us you're not a Nigerian Patriot but a Buhari's Patriot. And also you were either paid to do this or just want to stir up unnecessary argument. Infact I don even f-up by responding to your no good post |

Person go carry 50k enter market e go be like say na 5k items person buy. I saw a guy holding a black polythene bag sitting down at on corner at the market calculating what and what he bought with 10k. 10k money for market now only fills black polythene bag. Coaster biscuit that used to be six inside suddenly became five, then four, now it's just only three. Very soon we will hear, coaster biscuit no dey market again. Haba!!! Where we dey go like dis sef. The government should be ashamed that things like this are happening in their own time. What happened to all the promises they gave us before they entered power. It shouldn't get to this. I don't want to say this but, what is coming ahead (if not averted) is going to be very uneasy for the government to handle. And a lot of innocent people will suffer. Chai!!! God abeg the back wey you turn for Nigeria don do now. Abeg turn front for us. Last Last na God go still help us |

olayinka63: You can see mentality of Nigerians believing anybody in abroad is making it more than many people in Nigeria. Recently, my friend was telling me about his friend working at a factory in Dubai, UAE. He's collecting 990 Dirham. I converted this amount to naira and it's equal to #90k monthly. The guy was lamenting that he could not save and people at home thought he was rich. Now back to the cleaner above, cleaning job is unskilled job and I ask you how much do you think he would be earning? What kind of house do you think he lives? I commend him for showing happiness but don't think he is making it more than us here. Maybe skilled job can earn you more at UAE. Bia, how much will an unskilled job pay you here in Nigeria? Be sincere to yourself, how much does a LAWMA cleaner earn here in Nigeria? Things will eventually change for that guy sooner than you think. |

Settle bills, Invest in agriculture (every sector), invest in real estate (both home and abroad), fix a part of the money for my kids (leave it till they are matured enough to manage real cash. If you know what I mean), invest in my children's education, invest in my wife (see the kind of business she knows she can handle and help her build it) develop my knowledge, take my family out a vacation for the first time, help put smiles on the faces of those in need (try as much as I can). There's so much to be done but these, are my first priorities. |

ubcandid: I don't think you got the most important message the lady was trying to point out. The person you quoted might be a middleman or proxy (kind of; be selling for a relation or friend to get a cut). I have encountered such on many occasions here while trying to buy online, when you start asking for meeting point for selection they would ask you to chose your colors first, when your trust has waned after time spent in convincing that you are strongly intent on buying, the truth surfaces. People should learn to state their stand in a business chain or trade smartly. You don't just set unrealistic terms for buyers as if you're doing them a favour. Bia, what's that your brand again... You get better sense |
