lhordspy: I stopped reading whatever the Op was saying when i got to this:
"The NC is divided into two the Christian part and the Muslim part...the Christian section which consists of Nassarawa, Benue, Plateau, Abuja tend to tilt towards Southerners and that is obi"
It is so funny when people who havent been to the north, will just sit and start analysing according to what they wish or what they heard. Imagine someone calling Abuja and Nasawarawa state christians sections. Lol.
Let me just analyse nasarawa electoral strategy a little.
Nasarawa voters are dominated by majorly fulani and mostly ebira the ones from Nasarawa toto, and egon. This are core voters, when i mean core, like they take election period so serious and sacred. They dont joke with it...
I can bet any amount that in nasarawa, kogi and abj.. The three northcentral states that obi wont have a total of 20,000 votes combine.
I have been saying this and i am repeating it... When i see obi supporters mentioning northcentral like it is some kinda walkover state. I just laugh. Some of them havent even been there before. They dont even know the states that makes up the North-central. They just follow what they heard on social media and start concluding. Very funny.
I voted in Nasarawa 2019, i left kd to vote there. I voted for Atiku/obi but APC won the state massively during the presidential election. Infact the present governor, A.A sule even stated that the outcome of the presidential election was what gave him his victory one week later against the PDP candidate, Ombagidibo. From your analysis you're the one exhibiting naivety here, how can you associate voting of nasarawa with the fulanis instead of egons |

Crazybeard: I listened to Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, the vice presidential candidate of the Labour Party on Sunrise Daily, a Channels television breakfast program. I must state here that I have my reservations about his grasp of Nigeria's problems, and his ability to proffer solutions. He deflected a lot of the questions put to him and wasn't convincing with his responses.
Yeah, he is "only" a vice presidential candidate. But then, my thinking is that the vice president of any country should be as sound as the president, if not better.
I may be wrong though. What are your thoughts?
I'm curious. He is not a good orator but per say but very intelligent man |

Perfect 3 bed flat with master bedroom and two extra toilets that used to cost not more than 350/400 now costs at least, 900k with "I beg". We wilk soon be forced to ask all Ibo's to leave to east and enjoy leadership of ipob/ESN/Biafra/u.g.m. after all, they clapped for em and romanced them at the beginning. I hope repatriation process is being cooked, he go humble himself, piss and shiite for body when e don come back here. How can you ask indigenous people to leave their place |

aribisala0: If you do not understand ask questions rather than talking like a fool. I said It is not the responsibility of the FG to provide secondary education in Nigeria
That is our law. Instead of dealing with that you were talking nonsense about ASUU
The FG has involvement in secondary schools to a very limited extent in Nigeria There are over 10000 public sector secondary schools and the FG has about 100 UNITY schools
These schools were established after the civil war to promote unity. ALL the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT COLLEGES have the same motto= Pro UNITATE = FOR UNITY
The schools were not established because secondary education is FG responsibility They were established to enhance unity
UNILAG and some other universities have secondary schools BUT secondary education is NOT THEIR RESPONSIBILITY The Military have some secondary schools in Nigeria. Does that make secondary education their responsibility? Secondary education is state government responsibility. If UNITY SCHOOLS are to be run purely on merit they will be scrapped and handed over to state governments So what's the correlation with this point of secondary education not been the primary responsibility of the fg with the judgement; the judgement is targeted at other secondary not owned by FG? |

noleflendum: •Shortlists 8,800 for overseas scholarships
As part of efforts to boost the capacity of Nigerians to work in the oil and gas industry, the Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF) has shortlisted 8,800 candidates from over 26,000 applicants for this year’s Overseas Scholarship Scheme, OSS.
The PTDF OSS is an annual programme that awards scholarships to Nigerians for MSc and PhD studies in partner universities in the United Kingdom, Germany, France, China and Malaysia.
Speaking on the process for this year’s selection, Mr. Bello Mustapha, Manager, Overseas Scholarship Scheme, PTDF, said the process which started in December 2021 would see the shortlisted candidates interviewed across centres in Abuja, Port Harcourt, Ibadan, Kaduna and Bauchi.
He said: “Over 26,000 people applied for the scholarship and over 8000 were selected to come and do the interviews.
“We conduct the interviews in the six geopolitical zones of the country but we are doing in five geopolitical zones of the country this year because of the issues of insecurity in the Southeast.”
Mustapha explained that candidates in the Southeast have been advised to pick centres outside the region to enable them participate in the interview process.
“We sent them mails to choose any centre. In all the geopolitical zones we have, you can actually choose any centre that you want. You may be in the South East and you decide to come and do it in Abuja, or you can even go to Bauchi”, he added.
