With sudden death happening all over - air crashes, hurricanes, landslides/ earthquakes, tremors, wars, vehicular accidents etc, anyone who has a last minute notice of death must be very lucky indeed. I urge you to emulate the thief on the right of our LORD JESUS who made it to heaven at the nick of time. Confess your sins and receive salvation through the shed blood of JESUS. You will enjoy eternal life in the hereafter. |

[IGNORANCE IS NO EXCUSE. MAKE HASTE WHILE THE SUN SHINES BECAUSE A STITCH IN TIME SAVES NINE] Above is quoted from a contribution to this thread. The correct usage is "MAKE HAY WHILE THE SUN SHINES". Maybe we nead a thread on correct use of English language. |
Thanks for the prompt response. My ward prefers a good centre in the Ikoyi/VI/Lekki axis |
Does anyone know a centre where candidates are coached for JAMB exams? Please email me - rehobothwell@yahoo.com. Home coaching is acceptable too. |

The poser reminds me of a true life story of Karla Faye Tucker who was the first woman executed in Texas for over 100 years. Miss Tucker was on death row for 14 yrs having been convicted for killing 2 people with a pickax. While in prison she surrendered her life to God and became born again through the shed blood of Jesus Christ. She married while in prison. Appeals for cummutal to life imprisonment by prominent evangelicals, men and women of goodwill including Pope John Paul II failed to sway the Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles and Gov. George W. Bush, now president, who affirmed her execution. I watched her on Larry King prior to her death and was convinced she had found peace in God. She died of lethal injection on Feb 3 1998. Below is part of her last statement ", I love all of you very much. I'm going to be face-to-face with Jesus now, I will see you all when you get there. I will wait for you." What a way to face death. We must be sure now of where we will spend eternity hereafter either in heaven or hell because both are very real. Surrender your life to Jesus noooowwww |
CBN current rating of our 25 banks: 10 - Sound 12 - Satisfactory 3 - Marginal The report did not give any names |
This guy advised we buy WEMA sometime ago, some did but others did not. WEMA has since moved up in the market. I'm looking for a second opinion on UBA. Any opinion on this new Zenith offering? |
My broker says I should buy UBA now. Any contrary/ supporting opinions out there? |

He is entitled to his opinion. Uncle Taiwo deserves our support. Oyo State govenment should take the lead. Over to you Pa Adedibu and Gov Akala |
Thanks for the info. I guess they should have done this a long time ago. |
What has Nigeria gained for the huge support/assistance rendered to enable SA dislodge apatheid? Permit me to list some of the steps Nigeria took to help liberate SA: 1. Compulsory deduction of percentage of workers salaries and donated same to SA support fund 2. BP was nationalized. 3. Nigeria was a key member of what was then known as 'Frontline States' Today, getting a visa to SA for Nigerians is very hard. Multichoice, MTN and other SA companies operating in Nigeria do not treat national workers well. For a long time our foreign policy was hinged on 'Africa is our centrepiece'. At 47, we need a paradym shift ===> match foreign policy with economic policy |
Happy 47th birthday dear Nigeria, the best and most endowed country in the world. If you disagree ask the foreign investors around. Even with hostage taking, they are still flocking to Niger delta. Nigeria will survive her traducers in Jesus Name |
Be ready to sell at moderate prices. Cellphones are cheaper here than in the US. Do not come with the idea of making a kill, |
I need information on investment in polythene bag/roll production. What is minimum capital reuired? Can I buy into an existing plant? What is the ROI? I want to invest. Please send information to rehobothwell@yahoo.com |
Congrat Nigeria! What a relief! No doubt the lads have given us reason to celebrate. What do you suggest President Yar A'dua gives them? They are REAL heroes |
didisky: Please confirm whether these teddy bears were made in China. If yes, were they checked for lead. There is need to be very careful of China-made toys. We must protect our children (next generation) from lead poisoning. There has been recalls of made in China toys in the US lately. Is NAFDAC or SON reading this? |
Has the death penalty served its main purpose ie deterrence? The answer is no. |
