Please I need professional advice for Lexus rx350 accidented. Steering, knee and dash airbags blown.
Replaced them, but still has airbags error.
Tried clearing it but couldn’t and the technician advised I change the ECU SRS.
Got another and left it there to be fixed, upon trying to fix it, the electrician did not disconnect the battery and it led to the side airbags deploying.
More expense for me. I am getting new ones but I don’t want same issues happening.
How can I fix the error on the dash and program the new airbags.
Please help a brother

Do NOT allow someone who's not highly knowledgeable about SRS safety systems to repair or tamper with or modify SRS systems as they may cause expensive damages or even injure or worse case kill people or not deploy when they ought to.

What can be making a car have a jerking motion especially when accelerating after a slow down. It usually stop when it's on steady speed.

A lot of things,

Could be timing, could be fuel pump starving of fuel or getting weak, could be adequate air not going into the engine, it could be a misfire or from sparkplug or coil. It could be anything. Just scan and post codes here

The C codes are ABS codes, the U code is for communication of ECM/TCM.

Did you/your technician check for blown fuses or damaged wires?

I use BM E46 2004. I have issue with the fuel guage. The guage readings is not accurate. Technician suggested that I should change the fuel guage and the metre but still same. Pls, can you recommend what to do.

Did you buy the gauge brand new or toks?

@Mramechi, these cars rarely have transmission issues, if you put in the manufacturer recommended oil which is sp3 and you do not always drive like John travolta, then these cars will most likely not give you transmission issues.
Dexron 3 isn't Sp3, sp3 is designed for Hyundai/Kia/mitsubishi vehicles, dexron mostly for Fords, try doing a drain and refill with sp3 and see if the complaint is solved, if not, you might have ruined the transmission with a wrong fluid, probably what you did when you had to change the transmission in 2022, I use a 2009 model and just decided to change the oil back in 2022 and 2023, used Hardex sp3 transmission fluid, good luck.

There's a reason I don't want to argue with him, it'd because it's his car and he knows what to do at the end of the day, my only input is to advice and profer solutions, if anybody accepts, fine!

You've ended up killing that transmission probably. Your car requires SP iii or Sp iv ATF fluid.

You'd have to contact Honda for such. I doubt you'd be able to get it. It's over 12years old.

Inability to change gear smoothly during acceleration on a hill. Especially after breaking on a hill when in motion. However gear picks after shutting down and coming up again on the hill. Hyundai Sonata 2008 NF. Down the hill, gear changes smoothly.

Have you checked the transmission fluid?
Checked the transmission sump for impact?
Have you also scanned the transmission to know if there's a code stored in it?

Good morning guys, I just upgraded from my 2008 es350 to 2012 Rx350, I changed the default rim, bought 4 uniform tires and serviced the car, the problem now is that I’m not feeling the sharpness whenever I want to accelerate, unlike my es that picks up immediately, this one drag a little or accelerate gradually which is boring to me
So I want to know if I have to change the gear oil since the car oil since the car is foreign used or what might be wrong?

I have the check AWD SYSTEM notification, trac off, check srs system airbag and on my dashboard and of cos the check engine light is on.

Run a scan and post codes.

In these cars, when you have some faults related to check engine that triggers the VSC warning message to come on, it also shows the check AWD system.

where can i perform a smoke test in portharcourt to determine where the leakge is coming from.

A big thanks to @kingreign the transmission overheating message did not come up and I didn't experience gear slipping. I can conclude that the issue was from the front bumper upgrade, it didn't leave room for ventilation, that was a fantastic diagnosis by kingreign and he created a ventilation space by force

I was in company of my colleague, who was driving a 2014 bmw x5 xdrive. The car really showed that it is a German machine, damn

We got to enugu by 11:30am, I beat my last record by 30 mins

Please can you help advise me. My car jerks when on acceleration as of fuel have finished and picks up afterwards. I called a rewire and he said that it's likely the car battery was removed when the car was on that it would reset automatically. I just cleared the car from the port and noticed it requires premuim fuel, its an RX350 2010. What advice would you give me? What could be the fault as i have plans on travelling far to the east with the car.

Have it checked by another mechanic before embarking on that trip. Also, test that car very well within Lagos before going on a journey.
