GL 500 or GL550?
Pls, confirm, I don't think mercedes made any GL500, what they have is GL450. GL550.

That said, if your friend wishes to buy a 2015 GL full size SUV for 13m, he needs to have his head examined ASAP.

It all started when I changed my timing belt three weeks ago, the two mechanics I've visited couldn't find a solution to it.

Check the throttle body. By the way, which engine is in the car?

The way Nigerians, in trying to assist, rush and handle accident victims without knowlege of type, and seriousness of their injuries leaves so much to be desired.

Pls, it's best to allow an accident victim lie in the position you meet them than to move them, and aggravate the nature of their injuries or cause them to die later due to improper emergency attention and handling.

That said, I really wish we as individuals learn first aid, Accident and Emergency handling techniques to prevent unwanted stories.

Go to FCTA, Abuja Metropolitan Management Council (AMMC), they have a department called Parks & Recreation Department (P&R) department. When you get to the department, they'll assist you. They are responsible for the regulation and recreational centre activities and they also spell out the standards that must be met.

My 2006 Honda Accord doesn't engage in drive when you put it in D for 3 seconds if the engine has not warmed up. This does not happen when it's fully warmed up, even if it is put off and parked for about an hour, until it is cold again. This has happened to my reverse before, but it does not do that when engaged in reverse again.

We scanned the car, but nothing emerged from the gearbox.

What could be wrong, and what is the solution?

Check the ATF level via dip stick, if it's low, add some DW-1 ATF

You may have to get your electrician to pop out the motor snap n send to me. I may be able to source it for you in Abuja when next I visit the spareparts market for a little token (not including the motor) if you're okay with it

You should get a brand new PCV valve from hondajosh

As suggested I have started using 20W 50 (first usage) but the oil still shorts now its on the last hole close to the end of the iron and yet no smoke from the exhast pipe.

If you drive a modern Honda, try replacing the PCV valve and checking for leaks around the joints and seals.

You need to
1. Check if anything blocks your transmission cooler,
2. If your radiator is okay,
3. If your transmission fluid is up to level.

2. What are the documents or list of documents you are supposed to collect on your own after you have been handed over the vehicle and what agency (s) will you be getting the documents from.

Forgive my naivity.

When you buy a car from a dealer, get sales receipt of that car. It should clearly bear tge name of the car dealership, dealer registered licence number, get customs import duty papers.

If it's nigerian used car, you should collect sales agreement letter signed by seller, buyer and a witness, sales receipt, customs import duty, original copies of proof of ownership certificate, road worthiness, state revenue documents, insurance documents.

Replace your PCV valve, if it doesn't stop, rebuild that engine or replac it.
