Check if cats are broken and/or clogging the engine, check for fuel or fuel vapor leaks. You need very competent technician to do this, you also need livedata scan to pull out codes. If you're in Abuja, DM. I can help you.

Have your mechanic go under the sump, check if the transmission pan has been knocked inwards, he should drop the pan and check the filter and oil, then refill with genuine toyota ATF type T-iV. If e no work, plan for another gearbox.

Greetings chief. Mine is seems it’s gear issues but some professionals have also suggested it to be sensors.
When I engage the gear on D it takes a little 3- 5 secs before it engages only on D mode.
R works fine. No delay.
However car transmits very well while on motion.
Moreso I do experience that when I have driven for long. The delay time extends. Sometimes 1 mins or more.

Have you scanned it?
Besides, what car are we talking about and which year is this?

My Toyota corolla 2006 is having movement issue.

When it happens the car begins to sound like a throttle being pressed but very slow movement till it comes to a halt. The car whether in drive does not move or even in neutral cannot be pushed.

Before it starts the movement episode it would raise a little then Jack forward to move as normal

Then when you leave the car to cool day like 3hrs.
You can then move it.

My mech is thinking between fuel pump or gear.
Note that I have never worked on the gear before. The oil is also not black. Since I bought it in 2019. Naija used but in very pristine condition from some one who was relocating overseas reason for being sold.

Pls what is the probable cause

Fuel pump may be weak or defective, spark plugs, injectors, coils may be defective, ecm may be defective. If you're in Abuja, DM let's diagnose and possibly repair it.

I always tell u dumbos. B4 they will ri g engine.it means the piston rings have broken.crankshaft have cut..etc. your piston rings were stuck duebtonyewrs and months of gulping naija fake fuel which causes carbon build up onbpiston crowns,thereby leadingnto piston seizing and mad oil consumption which would affect injectors,plugs and overall engine performance. A liquid that costs 100k would have solved every.now the original rings have been removed and fake china installed.even if u buy toks engine.na 90/10@ chances say na reworked engine...sell the lexus and buy corolla or crv.4 plugs.dem don chop u taya.500k nawa o.byt we knw say e go pass 500k. Buy car u willbe able to dismantle and understand no..na rx.

Please I need serious help. My Lexus Rx350 2008 model SUV has the check engine flashing. Each time its flashing the power and performance of the engine reduces. I had a scan run on it it complain about the no 3 and 5 coil which i have change with another one,the cylinder misfire. All that can be done has been done even to the extent of changing all the spark and ignition plugs but still the problem persists.

Please what can I do, spending a lot on the car. Could it be electrical problems?and the car is working well before,i just notice the oil is dry and finish quickly,so when it was the time to change the oil for servicing i change both gear and engine oil, at that point the mechanic advice me to ring the engine,so agreed with him,so go-ahead at the same time he condemn the crown-shaft as well, we fix all this,after ringing the given did not bring out the good voice,i was told the timing is not correct they brig the engine down to re-timing it back....at the end of it,the check engine flashing. Each time its flashing the power and performance of the engine reduces and i was told again is wiring problem,some rewire even told me that my brain bus has to replace,please sir/ma someone shuold please assist me ooo......i have spend less that 500K STILL not getting the result ,thank you help your brother,

Hi everyone, I use a 2003 Toyota corolla. Anytime I engage reverse there is this banging sound, I've changed the engine mount, shaft cup and bearing then it became fair for sometimes and started again and I've been using it like that since then. Yesterday night when I engaged reverse it made the bang sound and car went off and refuse to start. I had to replace the starting fuse and start the car again, if I put it on drive it will move well but if I put on reverse it will bang and trip off and cut the fuse as well. Experience engineers in the house Please what can be the culprit?

Start with having another mechanic checking the car, scanning the car, performing full careful inspection and diagnosis on the car.

The problem is I'm in osogbo and the phone is not available on osogbo only on Lagos

All my friend use iPhone and always see me as someone weird because I always have android phone around so when I told them I have 650k budget and I want to go to Lagos to get Xaomi 13 pro they said why I'm I troubling myself

But I can't see myself using Samsung or iPhone again, even pixel is not for me ,I only love Xaomi phone
