good day guys, my lexus es330 is overheating. the mechanic suggested that the thermostat has issues that i should remove it but i don't want to remiove it even though he told me that's how he fixed his 2.4 camry when it was overheating that it might also be a water pump issue. have anyone here experienced this and how did you fix it?

thanks bro, nothing have spoiled it just overheats after driving for a while. I noticed it also boils up the water usimg up the on in the reserve. im thinking it might be the thermostat unfortunately i havent seen one to buy so far. want to replace it then use coolant too. thanks for ue input i greatly appreciate it.

I drive a Mercedes E320, each time I do fill my tank with gasoline, the fuel will begin to drop on the ground at the gas station, this will happen until I drive the car for some few miles and the drop will stop. Have anyone experience this or what could be responsible for this.

E550 will be the donor car. ML 2010 is the same M272 as GLK , the 2012 uses M276 which will make the swapping very difficult.
Reason for choosing E550 is because the M273 engine in it is similar to M272 but with 2 extra cylinders. Both are also naturally aspirated engines.

Whenever I start my Acura rdx it flashes all the battery, oil, check engine, key light on the dashboard, if I just let it be it will go off on it own, but when I rev it a little let say two minutes, it stops and only the check engine light stays. What can be the cause please

I am looking on embarking on a built car journey. I am enthusiastic about built cars and I want to try something here in Nigeria as I've discovered that not too many people are crazy about built cars.

I want to swap the V6 (M272)engine in 2010 GLK350 to V8 (M273) from 2010 E550. I am aware there will be sophisticated modifications that may cost some good money. I'm also aware my suspensions,ECU , instrument clusters, brakes, etc will also be modified.

My budget is #20m

My gear delays when shift to drive (D) for some seconds.
During the morning time, delay is in fewer seconds but when movement has been made the time delays increases. Sometimes it becomes difficult to engage.
but when it’s engage there are no delay in the transmission process. It drives smoothly.

When shift to (R) reverse. It engages at normal time.
There is no problem with R engagement.

Please I drive an 07 Accord, it was driving well, no problem at all for long until the Airflow stopped working, I gave it to my Old Mechanic who tried various Airflow meter sensors without anyone working, unknowing to me, the car was using the Brainbox of an older accord before I got it, which made the Airflow not to work again, so I took it to Oyingbo and the worked on it, I got a new brainbox and the car stopped smoking, but while driving home, I suddenly noticed the car starts to jerk once it nears 3000rpm, I could not go back as it was late and I lived far, so I just took the car home. I made a quick research and found out the VTEC solenoid is most times the culprit for that, so I ordered for a Tokunbo and my mechanic installed it for me. On test driving, the car was accelerating fine, it was going past 3000rpm and I thought the problem was solved until it started again a few days later. I just got a scanner and scanned it and it brought up a 'p2646 Rocker Arm Actuator Stuck Off' code, I don't know if you have a clue how I can sort that out, will appreciate your response, thanks.

Nissan Pathfinder 07 key showing the security feature (a car with a key inside) especially in the morning during the first start of the day, this is quite frustrating but after the first start it won't happen again, sometimes it takes between 30-1 hour try while some days it starts on the first try. . I have the option of removing battery head still this does not solve the problem..

Please car experts help me solve this issue

I noticed a wobble on the leg from the front passenger side. This happens mostly when I have accelerated now cruising (coming downhill) without matching on accelerator. So when I want to accelerate again I feel those damn wobble otherwise car accelerate just fine.

I have change the shafts (first I changed the outer ones of both legs) then when it continued I went to change the inner shaft cup too. But I still feel same thing.

I called a second mechanic I trust to drive and feel but he said car is fine and accelerate fine and that he didn’t notice of feel anything.

But when I drive I feel it and it even makes a wobbly sound too.

I have done wheel balancing and alignment too.

Don’t know what else to do. Pls my experience engineers help me. What could be wrong?

I love that break hold in my GLK 2013.... It is being activated by depressing the brake pedal, and turns off when you accelerate......
ANother fun feature which I am not sure is on this civic is ECO Start/Stop; engine turns off when you come to a complete stop in traffic and on when you hit accelerate pedal....

Again, I came across how I VTEC engines work especially on V6; some cylinder would stop working to economize fuel usage... How true? Also, Does that exist on the 4 plugs too?

Good morning gurus,

My 2011 Toyota Corolla jerks on entering gear 2 and afterwards selects perfectly. When I scanned I got code: P2770 as displayed in the image below

My mechanic have disconnected and connected back the Brain box and also have serviced the valve body but the problem still persists.

Please, help on what to do here.
