That car was made in Japan, exported to EU and GCC and other Asian countries. It's more rugged than the normal American specs Corolla 03-08.

So an after market transmission cooler can be installed as in modification?

The timing chain issue, does it have a work around?

Can the 2002 infiniti or pathfinder engine be installed as alternative?

People do install VQ35DE instead of the follow come VQ40DE, but I don't recommend such as it will involve splicing and cutting wires and alot of modifications.
Brand new OEM timing kits can be installed
External Transmission Cooler can be installed.

Radiator could overtime cause coolant to mix with transmission and damage it except it's bypassed and a transmission cooler is installed. Transmission cost over 400k,
Engine Timing chain is known to derail it's tensioner and guide damage things, it's known to also have rattling noise from crankshaft and camshafts, also camshaft and crankshaft sensors are known to fail. Engine cost around 600k.

Irrelevant! If it was done perfectly well, why should it be an issue. I drove a converted vehicle for years without any issues not even while turning. I did all I could do with an original LHD with it without a single issue.

Audi A4 B7 is a great buy. Ensure you get the Tiptronic transmission... Or manual transmission. A lovely design...the interior is something no Corolla past or present will ever match... The fuel economy is crazy for the 4 cylinder engine, the B7 is designed to be more spacious than the B6.

Oil starvation, blockage of the oil screen or orifices or sludge causes oil pump. Also, wear and tear over time can do this.
