Pls can somebody enlighten me about the difference between Benz C230, C240 & C320. They all have the same body shape.

W203 internal/chassis designated code has two series, prefacelift, and facelift. In prefaelift models, you can barely distinguish them apart from one another but you can notice subtle differences in things like Wheels, door handles. Use of steel wheel and wheel covers and unpainted matte black door handle denote the W203 you're seeing is classic trim. But when you see alloy wheels and body coloured door handle which also has chrome insert, its sports or avantgarde trim. Sports trim has slightly lowered suspensions and slightly bigger tyres. The preface lift models ran from 2002-2004

For the Facelift models which started in 2005-2007, these were changed. The sports trim of which C230 compressor, C230 sports have as standard have lowered suspensions, staggered tyres (front and rear tyres are different), different front bumpers (AMG bumpers) which have wire mesh and egg shaped foglamps, plus AMG style wheels 17", different side skirts (AMG), and rear bumpers (AMG), and a big oval exhaust. While luxury/avantgarde trim has normal suspension which is raised higher than sports, it has a more modern designed bumper with plastic louvers, and spherical shaped foglamps (different from sports trim), the side skirts and rear tells the same story.

C230kompressor, 240, 320 started life as preface lift models in 2002, and were facelifted in 2005. They were phased out in 2006 and C230 sports, C280 luxury, C350 luxury/sports took their place.

The picture you uploaded is a c240 2002-2004 preface lift avantgarde trim.

Ho much I toks?

Your price is funny for a QX4. Do you thinks it's Lexus? Offer the car at a price below N1M if you want to sell it. Just a candid advice.

Gbam.

Eddee:
Baba, I dey learn work for wer you dey... Thanks for the offline support. I remain loyal

Baba, leave matter, na brother we be.

I no go fit show that IV, rain plenty for here. Old age don catch me so I no fit drive for rain well like before.

Eddee:
Yeah bro, it's all fun and games until I break something. There are a lot of things I won't ever attempt to fix myself, suspension components are one (very stressful).

Lol so sorry about the stress you had to go thru.

snaketail22:
Wow beautiful work done here

Your moniker tho...

GAZZUZZ:
replace mechanic

savage reply. But 100% blunt truth.

dokiOloye:
Na Shia versus Sunni

grimadult:
Thanks boss

I'd chat you up in some minutes bro.
Hope you don't mind?

I'm impressed.

OgaKazeem:
hahahaha just banter bro... na play i dey o.

I know na. Haba, so someone can not play with you? Is that aw u use to do?

weyreypey:
I am still enjoying my Audi A4 B6...

You wet say your transmission was slipping that day and the car was showing hard starting, only for it to eventually start with smoking engine?
Haq haq haq.

OgaKazeem:
1000% correct...
(make i find trouble small) and most of their parts are made to last longer than a Toyota or Lexus

You're right, just as my Highlander lived 4years with me and is still with the woman who bought her, and my Lexus is 5years 7months old and still waxing strong.
Piss peace on your Benz bro!

Imagine the fuckery of paying 1.7m for a converted fbf coupe that ain't faster than my Camry 2.4l
I'd rather throw that cash into a cesspit than buy that fbf.

That said, the only fbf I may consider worthy of consideration maybe an 08-10 Peugeot 308 with the THP engine.

1m on top a Nigerian accidented abused crappy pijo
The gods must be crazy.

Eddee:
Honda Sienna you mean?

Eddee:
- views from the South Coast

The bolts holding that sienna tyre don loosen and fall off

9icetoo:
Volkswagen is not for faint hearted.
Wouldn't ever advise anyone to buy it as a first car.
It's not Kazeem friendly. Regardless of what anyone tells you, 99.5% of our mechanics are Kazeems.
The tools to diagnose, install and update modern (05 and above) Volkswagens are not readily available in Nigeria.
They are not inherently bad cars buy we do not have the expertise and resources to fix them and there lies the problem..
I wish op the best sha but it's going to be a long road to recovery. I hope it doesn't end with the car having a carburetor engine or being butchered in owode

Thanks for this.
A Mercedes is way simplified and easier to diagnose. maintain and repair than a VW of similar class and year. If you know, you know!

okpeho:
@ Kingreign, please is it possible to get a Land cruiser or Prado within that budget?

Old school Land cruiser or Prado. 96-99.

okpeho:
My Pastor currently owns a Nissan Pathfinder 2005 model which he bought 4 years ago, he told me last week that he is tired of his Nissan and i should help sell it and get another SUV between the range of 1.5 to 1.7m (Nigerian used). NOTE: My Pastor is a missionary who travels most times for crusade within and outside Nigeria (Benin republic). He wants an SUV that is not problematic, easy to maintain, rugged and durable.
Please house, i need your honest suggestion and opinion urgently. Thanks.
