The thing is people pose here as expert analyst but in truth lack fundamental knowledge of automobile, I decided to stay silent to avoid dragging issues with people online.

Eddie said M272 is notorious for shaft balance but forget to tell his gang members the shaft only fails between 60k and 70k miles, the question is how many of the M272 fitted E class came into Nigeria with 70k miles which means there is high ghana tendency that the shaft issues most have been fixed by previous owners abroad before the cars were shipped to Nigeria at probably 90k miles.
I had my car for four solid years and never had a issue, sold it off at 160k miles and the dude that bought car in my estate used it for two years before upgrading.
I am yet to see any M272 fitted E class lying dead in any mechanic's workshop.

You see where emotions and sentiments have taken you into?
Never forget that a whole lot of Mercedes cars had M272 in various cubic volumetric capacity. So E klasse is just one story of the many bunch.
Never forget, a good number of these cars were brought in brand new by west star autos, amongst others.
Lest you forget, you've NOT traversed thru the whole auto garages in all Nigeria to draw your illogical conclusion.

With these points of mine, I assure you, your assumptions have been trashed and my debate is a winning debate.

How you doing brother?
