Hasn't aged well in its looks. Together with the Lexus series, I just cannot understand what inspires the design team. Great piece of engineering anyway.

Says who?
Look well, has any Mercedes aged well?

I hope Mr Op has gotten a solution to his problem. The street fighting here no be small.

I used an older model Passat and the only issue then was the battery draining away by morning. I replaced it because that's the battery it came with from obodo oyibo and it did serve well till it was sold. VW is a good brand but I think they don't do well in long partly because of our kazeems. Been eyeing one Q7 like that in Warri but my liver de do me somehow.

my own liver dey cut me when I hear stories of how the touareg get problems. But I love its size and presence and power and features

Good morning everybody

Weyrey so you want me to be loosening engine from transmission and bringing engine out to work the timing chain?

Weyrey engineering. Others put timing system by the side or in front, but VAG weyrey over sabi ITK evil minded engineers did their facing the transmission or firewall.

I saw when someone was replacing Condenser of VW Sharan 2nd gen, he had to remove the whole front end with the fibre mounting bracket exposing the engine and chassis railings.

Tufiakwa!

Thanks so much sir. Do you have an idea of the price range for the Benz C240 or C320, if I'm not asking for too much?

Hold anything within 2.2-2.5m for clean tokumbo.
When you decide to buy the car, do inform me as I do sell cars.

do I buy the V8 4.2 or the VR6 units?

weyreypey:
Why would I lend kingreign my Audi A4 B6?

Would you advice me to buy a 2003-2007 Volkswagen Touareg 3.2l V6?
If yes why, if no, why?

saylawal2003:
Thanks for the info sir. Pls which is the best to buy among these series in comparison with Lexus ES 300/330?

The ES competes in luxury with E class. However, its a FWD and has very floaty suspension feel. This is very far from sporty feel the Benz is known for. (Don't underestimate ES300/330 speed. They're quick for those years).
Personally, I'd advice anyone to do a C320 or C240 facelift (2005). That has the proven and reliable M112 engine, and the 5G tronic which is a very robust and reliable transmission.

Thanks, I think I will considea the Lexus
